THE FIA LOGO

FIA MASTER LOGO

The Master FIA logo is the official marque of the Fédération


Internationale de l’Automobile. It is for the exclusive use of
the FIA.

The Master FIA logo, which is produced in two colours, remains


the preferred version of the FIA logo when used in branding
applications.

A member of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile


has, if it wishes, the right to endorse it's stationery with the
logo of the governing body.

For the purpose of stationery the FIA logo can be used in


conjunction with the text “FÉDÉRATION INTERNATIONALE
DE L’AUTOMOBILE” providing that the guidelines published
in this document are fully observed.

MASTER FIA LOGO USAGE

A member of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile


has, if it wishes, the right to endorse it's stationery with the
logo of the governing body.

The following criteria must be observed:

1). The size of the FIA logo must not be either larger than or
less than 50% the size of the logo or crest of the member
organisation.

2). The FIA logo cannot be used as an alternative to an existing


Championship or event logo.

maximum impact. This area must be kept clear of other logos,
graphics, text or the edge of any other item.

The clear space for the Master FIA logo is equal to half the

The distance between the Master FIA logo and the text
“FÉDÉRATION INTERNATIONALE DE L’AUTOMOBILE” is equal

The font used for the text is Century Gothic and is centred in
alignment with the logo. The FIA logo and text must appear
exactly as per the examples shown within this document.

CLEAR SPACE

The FIA logo needs clear space around it to give maximum

impact. This area must be kept clear of other logos, graphics,
text or the edge of any other item.

The clear space is equal to the width of the capital ‘F’ from
the logo on each of the sides, top and bottom - see
measurement ‘c’ in fig.4.

space must be reduced in proportion so that the height of
the logo is 15mm.

top edge and centre of the business card - see fig.5.

FIA MEMBER CLUB BUSINESS CARD

For FIA Member Club business cards the FIA Logo with text
and clear space can be proportionally reduced in size to a
minimum logo height of 10mm - see fig.6.

The positioning of the FIA logo is up to the individual Member


Club - however the clear space instructions on Page 2 must
be followed.

A version of the FIA logo without the text can be used on
Member Club business cards at a minimum height of 10mm.

Clear space boundary This version of the logo also has a clear space boundary which
should be equal to half the height of the FIA logo on each of
the sides, top and bottom - see measurement ‘x’ on fig.7.

MONOTONE LOGO

The FIA Monotone logo can be used on coloured backgrounds


or when only one colour is available. This version of the FIA

The FIA Monotone logo should not appear in any colour other
than those stated without the express permission of the FIA
Communications Department.

This version of the logo adheres to the same clear space and
minimum height restrictions as the colour logo.

BACKGROUNDS

BACKGROUND COLOURS

The Master FIA logo must only appear on FIA blue or white
backgrounds. For any other background option the FIA
Monotone logo must be used.

The FIA Monotone logo should appear black on white or


white reversed out of a dark background. The white logo is
preferred on all colours except the lightest shades which do
not present the logo clearly.

Always select whichever version has the clearest standout.

Only when absolutely necessary, the FIA Monotone logo can


be applied to, or reversed out of, a photographic background
- whichever has the clearest standout.

However, if areas of solid colour or tone are available, then


the monotone logo and relevant information should be
positioned accordingly.

On all co-branded material, the FIA logo must be reproduced


in either black or white monochrome.

at the same height as the championship logo. See fig.11.

CLEAR SPACE

When used in conjunction with FIA Championship logos the


full clear space boundary of the Master FIA logo must be
observed.
See fig.11.

If the FIA Championship logo has a larger clear space boundary


then this measurement should be used.

SECONDARY FIA CHAMPIONSHIP LOGOS

Secondary FIA Championship logos are stand-alone logos and


fig.12 will be constructed based upon the elements illustrated in
fig.12.

PANTONE CMYK RGB Web The Master FIA logo should be reproduced to the preferred
colour specification of special PANTONE wherever possible,

PANTONE 281 C:100 M:70 Y:0 K:38 R:0 G:30 B:74 #001E4A unless it is the single colour black or white version.

If this cannot be achieved then the four colour process (CMYK)


version may be used.

When producing work for television monitors match to the


RGB specification.

When producing for the web please use the web safe
hexadecimal specification.
