GROUP-1
Implement Campus Network Design

Jamahiriya university which has two campuses: Campus two

- Building A: Administrative staff in the departments of management, HR and
finance.
- Building B: Faculty of Computing and Faculty of Engineering.
- Building C: Students’ labs and IT department.
campus one:
Faculty of Health and Sciences (staff and students’ labs are situated on
separate floors)

Requirement:

1. Creating a network topology using Packet tracer.

2. Design Redundance Network.
3. Connecting Networking devices with Correct cabling.
4. Creating VLANs and assigning ports VLAN numbers.
5. Subnetting and IP Addressing.
6. Configuring Inter-VLAN Routing (Router on a stick).
7. Configuring DHCP Server (Router as the DHCP Server).
8. Configuring RIPv2 as the routing protocol.
9. Configuring switchport security or Port-Security on the switches.

GROUP-2
Hospital Network Infrastructure
Hospital X has3 branches each has 3 departments and the management
has decided to own their network infrastructure including Local Area
Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and a Server-Side site.

1. VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks): Segment the network to improve

security, reduce broadcast traffic, and organize traffic based on
departments.
2. EtherChannel: to provide redundancy between the switches.
3. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) as a routing.
4. DHCP server (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
5. WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network): Provide wireless connectivity for
employees and guests.
GROUP-3

Digital Finance Service Network

1. Hierarchical Network Design Model (LAN)

2. Subnetting
3. VLAN and trucking
4. DHCP Server (use router)
5. Dynamic Routing Protocol Configuration using OSPF (WAN) (4 Marks)
6. Provide wireless to employee and guest
7. User Privileges (Encrypted Passwords Configuration for Console, User,
Privilege Exec Mode)

GROUP-4
IOT Network Implementation

Two branches connectivity

1. Use router each branch to connect internet

2. VLANS
3. DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol):
4. WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network):

GROUP-5
Voice over IP Network

Design voice over Ip network 4 departments

Technologies Implemented

1. Creating a network topology using Cisco Packet Tracer.

2. Hierarchical Network Design.
3. Connecting Networking devices with Correct cabling.
4. Configuring Basic device settings.
5. Creating VLANs and assigning ports VLAN numbers.
6. Creating both data and voice VLANs and assigning ports VLAN
numbers.
7. Subnetting and IP Addressing.
8. Configuring Inter-VLAN Routing on the Routers (Layer 3 switch).
9. Configuring Dedicated DHCP Server device for Data to provide dynamic
IP allocation.
10. Configuring OSPF as the routing protocol.
11. Configuring VoIP or Telephony service configuration in all routers.
12. Configuring Routing for VoIP or Dial peering configuration in all
routers.

GROUP-6
Site-to-Site VPN
Design and implement a Site-to-Site VPN network that connects multiple
branch offices securely over the internet. Each site should be able to
communicate with others via the VPN tunnel.

Requirements:

 Devices: 4 Routers (1 for each site), 3 Switches, 10 PCs per site and 1
Internet Router.
 IP Addressing: Use private IP addressing for each site and subnet
accordingly. Public IPs will be used for the VPN endpoints.
 VPN Configuration: Configure a Site-to-Site IPsec VPN between branch
offices to ensure secure communication over the internet.
 Routing: Use static or dynamic routing (OSPF) for routing traffic
between sites over the VPN tunnel.
 Network Segmentation: Set up VLANs at each site to separate traffic
based on departments (e.g., HR, Finance, etc.).
GROUP-7

Floor 1:

Management 15pcs and 3printers, HR 10pc and 2printers

Floor2:

marketing and finance each 10 pc and 3printers

Floor 3:

IT 5pc and 1printer

Requirements

1. Use ospf routing

2. Use 3tier architecture
3. Vans and trunk
4. Subnetting and IP Addressing
5. Configure wireless network (access points)
6. Dhcp
7. Inter-vlan routing
