Scope & overview of the role:

The Data Analyst is expected to harness the power of data. Through the generation of actionable insights, Efficient
management and mining of primary and secondary data sources to enable timely and error-free reporting to our
stakeholders will also be a key responsibility of this role. This role will help grow data-driven decision making in the
organization.

Areas of Responsibility: Data Analysis & Management

o Responsible for managing Mergers and Acquisition Data in Workday


o Maintain and optimize Workday data for Autodesk employees globally
o Troubleshoots and resolves issues in partnership with People Data & Systems team as necessary
with exceptional customer service
o Collaborates with partners in People Experience, Payroll, Finance, Total Rewards, DES and others
to provide support for requests such as minor configuration enhancements and break-fix needs
o Provides security role administration support in HR tools proactively and upon request
o Provides support for Workday, including researching, identifying, and resolving complex Workday
issues, unexpected results and process flaws in close coordination with People Services Teams
o Continuously increases technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday
Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, training, webinars, etc.
o Performs complex data uploads into Workday utilizing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), or
oversees and audits EIB loads done by other data analysts in People Data & Systems team as
needed
o Assists the PPL COEs and other People Experience teams with the process flows, data analysis,
configuration and EIB loads associated with annual and off cycle events such as performance
evaluations, merit increases, bonus payments, and job structure enhancements
o Monitor and analyse Workday performance and make recommendations to deliver greater
operational efficiency and effectiveness
o Assists with system implementation and upgrades
o Actively participates in user acceptance testing and documentation
o Assists end-users and internal teams on Workday related issues
o Liaise with (internal & external stakeholders)

Education Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred


• Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional analytical skills and capabilities
• Ability to critically think and have an analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and
resolve system issues
• Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems and processes through instruction and self-
training
• Customer service oriented with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations and deliver an excellent
experience

Technical skills:

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel required, especially in visualization


• Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, including statistical analysis software (such as Stata, SPSS).
Experience with GIS software would be a bonus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated analytical and assessment skills of quantitative and qualitative data
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills
• Conversant with data: comfortable working with data sets of varying sizes, able to generate descriptive
statistics and find simple patterns. Bonus: knowledge of and experience with machine learning models.
• Familiar with the following tools: PoweBI, SQL, Python, AWS, Tensorflow.
• Excellent communicator, especially in group settings and with presentations to differing audiences.
