Subject: Leave for Olympiad preparation.

Respected Ma’am

I am the parent of Mahul Das of class X-I studying in your school. I would like to request
you to consider the leave taken by my son on 20th August, 2024 for Olympiad preparation.

He is preparing for the NSEP (National Standard Examination in Physics) and the IOQM
(Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics). NSEP is scheduled on 24th November, 2024
and IOQM is scheduled on 8th September, 2024. The screenshots from the official
websites of IAPT ( organiser of NSEP) and MTAI (organiser of IOQM ) are attached. I had
already requested permission to take occassional leaves (1 or 2 leaves a week) during the
parent-teacher meeting of PT-1 and the permission was granted. He also had a Physics
(Teacher: Mr. Gopinadh) Slip Test yesterday. He wants to write that ST also.

Therefore, I would like to request you to grant him permission to write the Slip test during
one of his Physics periods. I will also make sure that he completes the lessons taught at
school yesterday.
