1 What to do next?
1.1 A pre-payment of $1,600 is required to start the registration process. Please note the following
pre-payment amounts for specific faculties:
$2,100 for the Faculty of Pharmacy
$3,500 for the Faculty of Dentistry
$3,800 for the Faculty of Medicine
The pre-payment includes a $100 dormitory reservation fee. After making your pre-payment, you will
receive a dormitory residential form along with your confirmation letter. If you choose to stay in one of the
university dormitories, this amount will be deducted from your dormitory fee. If you decide not to stay in
the dormitory, $100 will be deducted from your tuition fee.

Include your name, surname, and student number in all payment transactions. Once your payment is
completed, you will receive a confirmation letter from the university. We kindly ask that you retain all
required documents upon your initial arrival. For a detailed list of these documents, please refer to the
"Important Notes" section on page 3.
1.2 Students registered to English-medium programs but failing to provide a valid “English Proficiency
Examination” certificate are required to take the “EMU English Proficiency Exam”. Detailed information
regarding the valid English Proficiency Certificates and/or EMU English Proficiency Exam can be accessed

1.3 Before planning your journey to Northern Cyprus, consult the nearest North Cyprus Representative
Office (http://www.mfa.gov.ct.tr/) or the Turkish Embassy (www.mfa.gov.tr) for visa requirements.

2 Financial Details
2.1 By the University Rules and Regulations, please be advised that tuition fees deposited will not be
refunded under any circumstances, apart from cases involving visa rejection.
2.2 In addition to the $1,600 pre-payment (which is $2,100 for the Faculty of Pharmacy, $3,500 for the
Faculty of Dentistry, and $3,800 for the Faculty of Medicine), the remaining amount can be managed
through a payment plan available in the student portal after registration is completed. Students can review

Please note that late payments of tuition fees are subject to interest charges.
2.3 Students who will study at the EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School (FLEPS)
should pay the tuition fee specified for the FLEPS.
2.4 In case of any deportation during your arrival to the country, the tuition fee will not be
refunded/transferred.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
By the immigration rules and regulations of North Cyprus, students must bring and present
hard copies of the following documents upon their initial arrival:
· Acceptance Letter,
· Confirmation Letter,
· Dormitory Residential Form
· Original versions of diplomas
· Transcripts

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Original Hard Copies of the following documents should be submitted to the Registrar’s
Office within the shortest time after arrival in the country:
· High School/ College/ Higher Secondary Education diplomas and their
originally and officially signed and stamped Turkish or English-
translated copies.
· Original Exam Result/s Certificate/s (if any) (IGCSE, NECO, WAEC, A-Level, O-Level, etc.)
· Four (4) photographs (approximately 4 cm. x 6 cm.)
· A photocopy of your passport
· A copy of your Acceptance and Confirmation Letter

20 February 2025 : Classes Commence.

11-26 April 2025 : Mid-Term Exams Period.
11-26 June 2025 : Final Exams Period.
