show the critical path.

Example (3):-
A modification had been made on the previous project by deleting the activity( C) ,
with a condition of no possibility of starting activity( E) before finishing both
activities (A,B) . Calculate the minimum period for finishing the project and show the
activities that lays on the critical path.

Example (4):-
Draw the arrow diagram for the following activities and show the critical path.
Prepare an arrow diagram and a list of earliest and latest starts and finishes , the total
float and the free float for each activity in the schedule above, and show the critical
path .

Example (5):-
If the project in the pervious example was late for (10) days according to the
planned schedule as shown below. Redraw the arrow diagram then find the new
date for finishing the project . Also show the earliest and latest starts and earliest
and latest finishes , the total float and the free float for each activity. Also show
the critical path.

1-drawing all activities arrows and the float time horizontally so that each arrow
starts directly from the end of the arrow of previous activity, then continuing drawing
the diagram to the right through the activities path that are related to each other.
2-the vertical lines in the diagram does not refer to any duration but the sequence of
the activities.
3-the float time stated as a horizontal dotty line with a length that refers to the
duration .So It’s easy to determine the float time for each activity from the arrows of
the diagram which are drawn to the scale of time . So the calendar dates could be
determined for each activity while it’s not possible to do so by the arrow diagram
method.
