I. Activity Description
The Team Dynamics for San Remigio Youth Tribal Camp aims to provide an avenue for
the youth of the Municipality of San Remigio to understand more the concepts of leadership
and as well as an avenue to immerse themselves in a camp-style leadership training. Further,
this activity aims to develop skills that are critical to a successful team effort such as building
communication and healthy working relationship within the youth of San Remigio. These skills
are trust, cooperation, effective communication, commitment, and leadership. Through this
team building, participants will gain a greater awareness of the group process, and learn skills
that, when taken back to the company can promote healthier relationships both internally and
externally.
At the end of this activity, the participants would become more aware of themselves,
and also value the importance of leadership in performing the day-to-day task in the office.
Description of the Program:
Input lecture, breakout sessions, team building activities, group processing will be the
main activities of this program. This program also includes sharing of thoughts and ideas for
exchange of meaningful conversations towards the facilitators and the participants.
Objectives:
The Team Dynamics for San Remigio Youth Tribal Camp aims to:
Establish a sense of camaraderie and a greater awareness of the importance of
teamwork;
Help participants to assess factors in team tasks and how to work effectively as a group;
Instil the importance of leadership and teamwork;
Help participants further develop clear and effective communication skills.
III. Expected Outcomes/Outputs:
Participants will understand the essence of leadership. In addition, the
participants will understand how leadership models are put into practice
personally in the office perspective.
Participants will learn to practice team leadership through active group
participation.
Participants will gain a greater understanding of their own personal identities
and how their identities shape their leadership.
Strengthened partnerships and connection among the participants
Participants will learn how to use their minds, their hearts, their voices, and their
ears to constructively engage and collaborate with others.
