Attached is our technical & commercial proposal for fabrication, supply, delivery, installation
and commissioning for the electro-mechanical equipment of the proposed dosing set. Please
note that design for dosing plant is as per AES standard design and codes. Saudi Aramco
standards, specifications, procedures ,RVL’s and inspection requirements are not applicable
to this offer as advised by client.

Important Notes:
1. Reverse Osmosis System:
1. We do not refer to any specification to follow. Design is based on AES
standard design and as per manufacturer’s standard for equipment and AES
approved vendors and applicate international standards.
2. Chemical Dosing Pumps will be Prominent or Pulsafeeder
3. AES battery limit is within the skid only Any equipment, piping, instrument
outside battery limit shall be by client .
4. AES scope of works is limited to electro-mechanical equipment specified in
the scope of supply of this offer. Any requirements for civil works are
excluded in AES scope of works.
5. Technical submittal will be shared with client for approval after PO.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
AES Arabia Ltd., Scope of Work for the dosing system will cover the following:
1. Supply, & Fabrication for the required equipment / materials as mentioned in
Section 3.0 and section 4.0 of this proposal.
2. Delivery of the Equipment to Site @ Dammam.
3. Installation & commissioning of the dosing Set.
4. Providing (2) sets of operation and maintenance instruction manual in English.
5. Train client's operator during plant commissioning period.

3.0 SCOPE OF SUPPLY
3.1 Mechanical and Electrical Equipment
AES Arabia Ltd. offers to design, supply and deliver to job site, the chemical
dosing Set as per AES Standard specifications & codes, and as per duty point
and process type advised and provided by client the dosing set comprising of
the following:
A-Raw water Tank:
One (01) - Sodium hypochlorite Dosing Pumps.
One (01) - pH Adjustment Dosing Pumps.
Two (02) - Chemical Storage Tank with level switches.
One (1) - pH/ORP/TDS meter.
One (1) - Local Panel.
B-Drinking water Tank:
One (01) - Sodium hypochlorite Dosing Pumps.
One (01) - pH Adjustment Dosing Pumps.
Two (02) - Chemical Storage Tank with level switches.
One (1) - pH/ORP/TDS meter.
One (1) - Local Panel.

5.0 COMMERCIAL SECTION
5.1 Price
A.E.S. Arabia Ltd. offers to supply, deliver Dammam site, the chemical
dosing system (1 each raw water / drinking water Tanks) as specified in
section 3.0 & 4.0 for the total price of:
SR. 199,500.00
(Saudi Riyals One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Five Hundred only)
Note: VAT or any other related Government Tax shall be paid by buyer.
5.2 Terms of Payment
The schedule of payment will be:
- 50% down payment upon receipt of order.
- 50% Readiness of equipment’s for delivery AES RHD Ex-Factory.
5.3 Delivery
The proposed filter will be delivered within 8-10 weeks from receipt of order,
signing of contract, settling of commercial terms and payments, and approval
of technical submittal if required.
5.4 Validity
Ten (10) days from the date of this offer.
5.5 Service and Materials Limited Warranty
AES Arabia Ltd. warrants that all its equipment described in this proposal and
delivered to client will be free from any defects in materials and workmanship
and will perform as described in the proposal for a period of one (1) year from
the shipping date. Any system components that are considered wear related
items and not covered by the equipment warranty shall be specified in the
operating manual.
If the equipment is maintained in a satisfactory condition and operated in
accordance with AES Arabia Ltd. instructions, and if the equipment
malfunction during the warranty period because of faulty material or
workmanship, AES Arabia Ltd. will, at its option, either repair or replace the
equipment to whatever extend AES Arabia Ltd. deems necessary to restore the
equipment to proper operating conditions. If there has been a modification,
unauthorized repair, accident, abuse, or misapplication of the equipment, AES
will have no liability therefore.

5.6 Confidentiality Agreement
This proposal is strictly confidential and contains design and proprietary
information specific to AES Arabia Ltd. This proposal is not to be revealed or
disclosed in-all or partially to any third party without written consent of AES
Arabia Ltd.
5.7 Variation/ Change Orders
All changes requested by client after signing the agreement shall be subject to
review by AES Arabia Ltd. Upon AES Arabia’s acceptance of such
variations, any extra material, time, man-hour shall be charged to the client as
per AES Arabia standard charging rates. If the client chooses to cancel the
order at any stage of the contract, AES Arabia Ltd. shall deduct all cost
incurred till the cancellation point of time and any subsequent charges
foreseen as a result of order cancellation.

5.8 Exclusions
The following are not included in the scope of work and supply:
- Civil works and any related design works including filter dish head
concrete work.
- Site preparation and any earthworks or excavation.
- Raw water/ product water tank, and various storage tanks.
- All concrete pads/ trenches/ drains.
- All embedded concrete items such as conduits, pipes, puddle flanges,
sleeves, and wall openings.
- Manhole frames, covers, ladders, etc..
- Utilities such as power supply , water , and brine salt during
installation and commissioning.
- All site works unless specified in AES Arabia Ltd. proposal.
- Tanks level controls/ level switches/ foot valves and associated
electrical works unless specified in AES Arabia Ltd. proposal.
- Incoming and/ or outgoing pipe-work to and from softener system
unless specified in AES Arabia Ltd. proposal.
- Any other equipment found defective and not clearly specified in our
quotation.
- Any shades for outdoor equipment.
- Loading & unloading of equipment’s at site.
- Incoming power supply to AES equipments/main control panel.
- Any spare parts, and/ or wear and tear spare parts unless specified in
offer.
- Safety and storage of equipment at site, protection from theft, direct
sunlight, overheat, dust, water splash, fire, rain, freezing conditions.
- Packing, custom duties, handling fees, legalization, clearance fees, L/C
charges inside and outsider Saudi Arabia, Taxes, governmental taxes,
expert fees, documentation , etc.
- Site entry permits and works permits.
- Grounding and Earthing Network.
- Allocation of space, dismantling the existing equipment, site
preparation works.
- All drainage facilities or sludge disposal facilities.
- Third party inspection of equipment, witness testing, and other type
of testings.
