ACTIVITY 1 CHAPTER 4

Explain the Following


1. Elements
 Elements are the Artist used to create an art. Art needs the elements to have
its own character or outcome. Elements have so many types that can be used
when creating an art. Most of Artist used elements to create or to express their
own work.

2. Visual Arts
 Visual Arts is used to feel the emotion or the imagination through the Artist’s
artwork. It mostly development of the technology, like photography, sculpture,
printmaking etc,. By visual arts, the Artist can express what they want to tell.

3. Line
 Line art is one of the first elements of art that most artist beginner used; they
draw anything that can be formed as an art. It can be wavy, horizontal, vertical
curved or any other line.

4. Color
 Color is one of the most important in every artist tool. They used Color to
invoke viewers and to see what the artist feel while creating an art. One of
those is red, is considered the colour of romance, strength, ambition etc. Red
is also representing anger of the artist.

5. Psychology of Colors
 Psychology of colors is based on emotions and mental state effects the
viewers. Also psychology effects of color that relates in two types, the cool and
the warm one. Cool colors such as green, blue and purple that feels sadness
and calmness and the other one, Warm colors such as red, yellow and orange
has variety of feelings from warmth and comfort to anger and hostility.

6. Texture
 Texture is the element of art that gives the art a sense of touch. It’s represent
the feeling of an art. Most of the artist used watercolor to create an art using
the texture element.

7. Perspective
 Perspective is the art to create a three-dimensional object that gives an
illusion or look like a small for the viewers. They also use this to create a 3D
art. One of the most who use this in architect, they use it in their project or
plates such as buildings, house or stairs.

8. Space
 Space is used to create a two-dimensional like painting or graphic arts. Space
is also the above, area around, size, and within an object.

9. Form
 Form is the art that represent the way shape occupies space. It also refers to
three-dimensional object on two-dimensional surface that can create 3D.

10. Volume
 Volume is representing the size of an object and the space the object
occupies. Like others element, volume also can create a 3D modeling that
represent a space with depth.
