individuals can contribute to government efforts to reduce damage caused by these natural disasters.

Objectives:

By the end of this task, you should be able to:

1. Demonstrate ways to ensure disaster preparedness during earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.
2. Suggest ways by which individuals can contribute to government efforts in reducing damage due to earthquakes, tsunamis, and
volcanic eruptions.

Instructions:

1. Form Groups: Form a group of 4-5 students. Collaborate with your group members throughout the entire process.
2. Research: Conduct thorough research on disaster preparedness strategies for earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.
Gather information from reliable sources such as government websites, educational materials, and scientific research.
3. Plan the Brochure:
o Content: Include at least three preparedness strategies for each type of disaster (earthquake, tsunami, volcanic
eruption).
o Contribution Ideas: Provide at least three practical ways individuals can support government efforts to reduce damage
from each type of disaster.
o Visuals: Use relevant images, diagrams, and infographics to make the brochure visually appealing and easy to
understand.
o Layout: Ensure the brochure is well-organized with clear headings, bullet points, and sections.
4. Design the Brochure:
o Use digital tools (such as Canva, Microsoft Publisher, or Google Slides) to design the brochure.
o Ensure the design is innovative and engaging, reflecting your creativity and understanding of the topic.
5. Review and Edit:
o Review the content for accuracy and clarity.
o Edit the brochure for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
o Ensure the brochure reflects the values of innovation, camaraderie, alignment, respect, and excellence.
6. Submit the Brochure:
o Submit a digital copy of your brochure to the designated platform by the due date.
