The map shows different areas of Kelowna and how the age of people who

run the households breaks down:

 Green areas are where most of the household heads are younger,
under 35.
 Blue areas are where most are between 35 and 54.
 Red areas mean that most household heads are 55 or older.

Looking at Kelowna, the central part is a mix of blue and purple,

meaning there’s a blend of middle-aged and older people running
households here.

If you go over to West Kelowna, especially by Okanagan Lake, there’s

a lot more red, showing that older folks (55+) tend to live by the lake.

In the northern areas, near UBC Okanagan, you’ll notice some green,
which likely represents younger people living nearby, probably students or
younger professionals.

So, this map gives a clear view of where different age groups are living in
Kelowna, with older people gravitating towards lakeside areas and
younger people near the university.
