A1.1 The brief scope of works under this Tender [No. 4 AFC - DM] includes but not limited to:
(i) Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Automatic Fare
Collection System for Phase-2A & 2B lines which includes two depots, 32 stations and
works at OCC/ BCC. The equipment shall include:
a) AFC Gates
b) Ticket Office Machines (TOMs)/Excess Fare Office (EFO)
c) Card Top-up Terminals (CTTs)
d) Station Computer Terminals (SC)
e) Station Network Equipment including switches, LAN cables, OFC cables, racks,
patch panels, patch cards etc.
f) Emergency Switch and related cabling
g) Electrical Cabinets, MCBs, Power Cables etc.
h) Staff Gates, Fixed Barriers for the entire stretch to separate Paid/Unpaid areas
on either side of the gate arrays at the stations.
i) Security Access Modules for Station Level Equipment
j) Centralized redundant Station Computer System
k) Central Computer System (CCS)
(ii) Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Station Level
Equipment (SLE), SC and CCS at BMRCL’s Software Development/ Training Centre
(SDC) and integration with existing AFC SDC equipment.
(iii) Integration with existing Level-4 AFC Central Systems:
a) Integration with Master Central Computer System (MCCS)
b) Integration with Card Master (CM), SAM Manager, QR/TG Servers, NCMC
Transit Payment Gateway, Bank Interfaces
c) Integration with all external interfaces including ONDC, third party apps etc. for
seamless operation.
(iv) Integrate with National Common Mobility Card Acquirer & Issuer Bank.
(v) Training to the operation and maintenance staff,
(vi) Supply of Spares and sources of spares,
(vii) Indigenisation and Technical support,
(viii) Documentation,
(ix) Maintenance support during Defect Liability Period (DLP),
(x) Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services for Five Years after completion of DLP, as
specified in Employer’s Requirements, Schedule-8 of Special Conditions of the Contract
and details of AMC terms and conditions in Appendix -12.1 of ERTS, and
(xi) The system shall accept/process Contactless Smart Cards (CSC), Contactless Smart
Token (CST), National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) and QR Code ticketing.
A1.2 The detailed Scope of Works to be undertaken by the Contractor is further described in the
Employer’s Requirements (Volume-3) of Tender documents.
