Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a Joint Venture of Government of Karnataka (GoK)
and Government of India (GoI), invites eTenders (Single Stage - Two Envelope System) through Local
Competitive Bidding (LCB) from eligible, qualified, reputed and experienced Tenderers (Joint
Venture/Consortium permitted) having previous experience in the Works of similar nature, volume and
complexity completed during the last ten (10) years as mentioned in the Tender documents for “Design,
Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Automatic Fare Collection
System (SLE, SC & CCS) for Phase-2A & 2B and Integration with Existing AFC System ”.
The brief Scope of the work is provided in Instructions to the Tenderers (ITT) and the detailed description of
work is provided in Employer’s Requirement. Only ‘Class-I Local Tenderer’ and ‘Class-II Local Tenderer’
as defined under the ITT clause E5.5 and ‘General Conditions of Contract’, shall be eligible to bid in this
Tender. Preference to the ‘Class-I Local Tenderer’ shall be given who meets minimum Local Content as
defined in ITT clause A4.2. The margin of Purchase Preference shall be as detailed in ITT.
