Please ensure your system is well connected to a stable


internet from the start to finish of the download, and all through
the installation process.
1. Go to https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/

2. Click on Archives
1. Click on the second setup - 296.1M to begi
download

2. After the download is complete, open the


downloaded setup and wait till it loads.
NB: Your device still
needs to be connected
to the internet at this
stage.

Click Execute and wait for
all products above to
install
1. Check the box to agree
to the license terms and
3. Close conditions

2. Select Yes

1. Click Next
2. After all products have
been completely installed,
1. Click Execute. click Next.
2. Click Next.

1. Choose a password and
repeat the password

NB: CHOOSE A PASSWORD YOU WON’T FORGET, YOU MAY


NEED TO NOTE IT DOWN. ANYTIME YOU NEED TO WORK WITH
SQL, THE PASSWORD IS REQUIRED. IF YOU FORGET YOUR
PASSWORD, YOU WOULD NEED TO DELETE, RE-DOWNLOAD 2. Click Next.
AND RE-INSTALL MYSQL.
Click Next.
2. Click Finish.
1. Click Execute.
1. Click Next.
2. Click Finish.
2. Input your
password.

3. Check

1. Click here to exit

2. Search for “MySQL Workbench” and open.
