Document 4: The Agile Cheetah
Introduction: Cheetahs are the fastest land animals, capable of reaching speeds up to 70 mph. They
are known for their agility and sleek appearance.
Habitat: Cheetahs are found in parts of Africa and Asia, preferring open plains, savannas, and dry
forests.
Physical Characteristics: Cheetahs have slender bodies, long legs, and distinctive black "tear marks"
running from their eyes to their mouths. Their spotted coats provide camouflage.
Diet: Cheetahs primarily hunt small to medium-sized ungulates such as gazelles and impalas. They
rely on their speed and stealth to catch prey.
Behavior: Unlike lions, cheetahs are solitary animals or live in small family groups. They are diurnal
hunters, active during the day.
