First, an intro:
I’m Zippy, founder and director at Design Alive.
Back in 2009, (yup back then) I was working as a graphic
designer and instructor and loving every minute.
I saw so many of my creative friends stuck in dead-end
jobs they dreaded. I thought to myself — why can’t more
frum, creative women launch a successful career?
Why do they need to push it to the side because, ‘it doesn’t
pay the bills’ or ‘I don’t want to go to secular college’?
That’s when Design Alive was born — a place for creative people to get
top-level design training from their own homes and launch a successful
career. And we continue to stay ahead of the game embracing cutting edge
technology, adding new courses and bonuses and staying up todate with
current trends.
“Taking the web course was the best decision I’ve made!
Within six months I’d already made double the cost
of the course!”

Everything you need to know about the
An intensive study of all aspects of design. The course is split into two
parts, Design Theory & Design Construction, and you’ll learn everything
you need to become a competent, professional interior designer or
space planner. It is tailor-made for students who are willing to work
hard and challenge themselves to develop into successful designers.
NEW: SPACE PLANNING ONLY - for those who want to focus on the
technical challenge of space planning. (more details on website)

“At the high-level design firm I work at, they keep telling me,
“We can’t believe you’ve only taken a 1-year program. All the other
designers have taken a 4-year course and your knowledge + skills
are on par — and in some ways even exceed them.” I couldn’t be
more grateful that I chose Design Alive.”

Mini Courses
You’ve completed the Graphic Design course, and you want to get that
edge on your competitors and add these skillsets to your resume.
PREP FOR
PRINT
You are a graphic designer but preparing something for print is a different story.
You need the detailed know-how and this course will give it to you. Feel confident
to bring jobs with special printing effects to print as well as the knowledge to
supervise print jobs.
“This course will teach you everything you need to know about printing, from
the initial call-up until it’s delivered to the client’s doorstep. It’s amazing.”
COPYWRITING
The marketing assets you’re designing usually have copy on them. Wouldn’t it be
cool if you could be confident that the copy was working hard to make your
ad/website successful, instead of just filling up space?
Knowing the basics of copywriting ensures that your work is less ‘pretty’, more
strategic, and better for the bottom line.
