PRINCIPAL
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE HOSTEL RESIDENTS
1. Parents/authorized visitors are allowed to meet their wards in visitor's room near the security office only
during specified timings. Working days: 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Holidays: 11.00 am to 6.00 pm.
2. Girl student will be permitted to go out of the campus only with escort nominated by the parent and on prior
intimation to the Dy. Warden/Dy. Chief Warden/Principal.
3. Inmates going out of the college campus should enter the date and time of leaving the hostel and the date and
time of returning to the hostel. They must also leave the hostel with valid gate pass signed by the authorized
signatory.
4. Students are advised not to keep any valuables in their rooms. The College authorities will not be responsible
for any loss of cash/ valuables.
5. Guests/Visitors/Local guardians are not permitted to enter/stay in the hostel.
6. Students will be permitted to go home only if the college is closed continuously for five days or more / in
case of any emergency. They will be permitted to go home to slay with their parents or with local guardian
on prior written request from the Parent/Guardian. Request on phone call in this regard will be entertained
through registered mobile number and also send confirmation message to Dy. Warden/Dy. Chief Warden.
7. Students availing gate pass on working days must return to hostel before 7.30 pm. Issue of gate pass in this
regard is at the discretion on the Dy. Warden/Dy. Chief Warden.
8. Students are not permitted to stay in the hostel during the college working hours without prior permission
from the Dy. Warden/Dy. Chief Warden. Students must avoid wasting of Food, Water and Electrical Power.
9. Unauthorized Electrical fittings and gadgets should not be used in the hostel rooms. Use of radio receiver
without head set is also prohibited.
10. Individual/common breakage amount will be deducted from the caution deposit.
11. Students should refrain from social undesirable activities such as RAGGING and GAMBLING.
Consumption of ALCOHOL or TOBACCO will be strictly dealt with.
12. Students interested to join various classes outside campus must get prior sanction from the Dy.Warden/Dy.
Chief Warden/HOD/Principal along with the required proof so as to avoid inconvenience. They should also
make their own arrangement for food if their class timings exceed the mess timings. Safety & Security
during their travel is at their own risk.
13. During study hours absolute silence must be maintained and they are instructed to be inside their respective
rooms during the study hours and the doors must be kept open. Inmates must avoid going into other inmate's
room. Attendance will be taken during the study hours. Presence during attendance is mandatory and parents
will be summoned if student is found irregular.
14. Hostel facility will be provided only for those who agree to abide the hostel rules and regulations. Student
found guilty for misbehavior/bad conduct will be expelled from the hostel immediately.
15. (i) STUDY HOURS: 9.00 p.m.to 10.30 p.m.
Hostel inmates found irregular during study hour will be summoned before the Principal and their Parents
will be intimated.
