ACT ONE -TWILIGHT

CHAPTER ONE - NEW START


RAIN.
The sound of rain droplets falling was visibly heard as Valentina leaned her head against the car
window, astounded by the sight of nature visible in the girl’s eyes,the trees mixed with the rain gives off
a soothing scent throughout her body.Valentina sat comfortably in her sit while waiting for them to
arrive in Grey’s Residence.
“Eva, aren’t you excited?”Mom questioned while her eyes were still focused on the road. “Yeah, it
means a new start for me” I answered , diverting my eyes through the car mirror. “That’s good Eva,
what about you Eli? aren’t you excited??-Mom exclaimed taking a glance at my brother. “Not really”-
Luther responded while sighing. “Why not Eli?” Mom questioned sensing something, “ it’s just i’m
gonna miss home and my friends”. Luther replied looking out the window. “I feel you bro, but we
need a new fresh start, don’t you want that brother?” I explained “I do little sis , it’s just I'm not ready
to let go of the memories I've made with my friends”. Luther responded “You don’t need to let those
memories go to waste, you can always visit them you know? plus you could probably find a girlfriend
here”. I snickered as my brother shot daggers at me. The brown-haired girl turned her head up as she
felt the car halt, indicating they had arrived at their new house.
“We’re here!- Mom cheered, turning the car off and getting off to gather their things. Eva sighed,
muttering a few words before gathering her things and opening the car door. Eva stood there
mesmerized by the sight of their new home. Luther helped her little sister carry her things before
getting inside.“Okay there’s three bedrooms, one bathroom, Eva your room is on the second floor to
the right while Eli’s are to the left and by the way i’ve enrolled you both in a new school”. Mom
announced as we went to our own rooms .
I stopped at my door and then opened the door, the sight of her room truly mesmerized her by the
colors of the walls and the interiors looking the same as she wanted. While admiring her room she
heard a car pulling up so she peaked into her window, and saw a pale-skinned girl with a cop guessing
it was her father. I was admiring the girl when mom called me to come down.
I went downstairs and saw my mother and brother in the living room with visitors, “Valentina there
you are, meet Charlie and her daughter Bella Swan”. Mom responded while looking back and fourth
to us. I just smiled at them, while my mom and brother talked to Bella’s father, me and bella decided to
go out.
“So…. I didn’t formally introduce myself so, i’m Valentina Geneva Grey but you can call me Eva or
Tina”. I smiled at her while extending my hands, “Isabella Marie Swan, Bella for short”.She Replied
before accepting my hand, we were talking when mom finally went outside alongside my brother and
Charlie. “So..Eva, I was wondering if you wanted to ride to school with me tomorrow?” Bella
questioned, “Of Course Bella, I would love to!”. I replied excitedly. “Ok i’ll pick you up at 7
tomorrow”. Bella responded and I nodded.
It was 6:30 in the morning, i was getting ready for school
