Ladies and gentlemen, good morning! Good morning, sir Raphy!

Good morning everyone! And also to you Ma’am Monica. Today, we are gathered here to
celebrate the passion, skill, and determination of our young athletes. Let this be a day of not only
competition but also unity and sportsmanship.
To the highly esteemed Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Antonio M. Ilagan, to the ever-
dynamic School heads of our sub-office, motivated and committed faculty members, teacher
coaches, our young athletes, parents, ladies and gentlemen, ….

Welcome to the 2024 District Sports and Athletic Meet! With the theme Lakas at Talino:
Gabay ng Bawat Batangueño Tungo sa Matatag na Atletang Pilipino”
Host 1
To officially start the program, let us stand for the Philippine National Anthem, to be led by
Mrs. Seren P. Diomampo, Master Teacher I from STCS. Followed by the singing of the
CALABARZON March, Himno ng Batangan and Himno ng Sta. Teresita. For the Raising of
the Philippine Flag, we are honored to have Hon. Norberto A. Segunial Jr., our Municipal
Mayor, together with Mr. Dhenver D. Arellano, the Sub-Office PESS Coordinator.
Host 2
To lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance, we invite Mr. Sanny M. Japson, Teacher III from JMAES.
It will be followed by an Invocation to be led by Mrs. Rosa D. San Diego, Master Teacher I
from JMAES.
(Thank you for that heartfelt prayer, Mrs. San Diego)

At this juncture, let us hear the Opening Remarks from our benevolent Public Schools
District Supervisor (PSDS), Dr. Antonio M. Ilagan. Let’s give him a round of applause.

Next, let’s hear the Words of Welcome from our respected leaders in the community.
First, we have Hon. Bienvinido P. Atienza, Barangay Captain of Bihis. Sta. Teresita

And to share some words of encouragement and to welcome everyone to this humble
institution, may I call on stage the dedicated and supportive principal I of Mohon ES, Mrs. Amparo
R. Salazar. Let’s give her a round of applause.
Host 2
Another message will be given to us by Mr. Edwin Reyes, President of the Sta. Teresita
Federated PTA.

Host 1
Thank you for those warm and welcoming words. We will now proceed with the Hoisting of the
Sports Banner to be led by Dr. Antonio M. Ilagan, PSDS, together with Mr. Dhenver D.
Arellano, Sub-Office PESS Coordinator.
For the Hoisting of the School Banner, we call on our Barangay Chairmen, PTA
Presidents, and School Heads to lead.

Let’s take a short break for an Intermission Number to be presented by select pupils of MES.
Thank you for that wonderful performance!

Now, let us hear a special Message from our esteemed guests.


First, we invite our skilled and very able municipal mayor, Hon. Norberto A. Segunial Jr., let’s
give him around of applause.

Next, to give us another message, let’s all welcome our dynamic and passionate vice mayor,
Hon. Ma Aurea V. Segunial, let’s give her a big hand!

Another message will be given to us by the supportive and hardworking Councilor and Chair of
the Sports and Education Committee. Hon. Ian Sangalang,

Finally, let’s hear a message from our committed and dedicated Sub-Office PESS Coordinator , no
other than Mr. Dhenver D. Arellano.

Thank you for those warm and welcoming words. Now, we will proceed with the Oath of
Amateurism, to be led by Edsel Del Mundo, Grade XII student from STNHS.

Host 1
To lead the Officiating Officials Oath, may we call on Mrs. Amparo R. Salazar, the Sub-Office
Athletic Manager.

Host 2
At this point, let’s hear a message from our highly esteemed Schools Division Superintendent Dr.
Marites A. Ibañez, CESO V.
Thank you, Dr. Ibañez, for those inspiring words.

Host 1
Now, let us all witness the symbolic Lighting of the Friendship Torch, May we call on Venice
Anne M. Agno, a Grade XII student from STNHS.

Host 2
And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—the official Declaration of the Opening of
the 2024 District Sports and Athletic Meet. We call on Mr. Antonio M. Ilagan, PSDS, for
the formal declaration.

Host 1
With that, the games are officially open! May the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and
teamwork reign throughout this event.

Before we close the program, we would like to invite the compassionate Principal IV of STNHS to
deliver her Closing Remarks. No other than, Dr. Lorna U. Dinglasan,

That concludes our opening ceremony. We want to remind everyone to carry the spirit of
sportsmanship with you as you continue your journey in sports and beyond. Let’s strive for
excellence, support one another, and keep pushing our limits.
