Job Description: Designer (SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Manufacturing)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented researcher to join our dynamic team for
Autonomous Ground Robot. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
SolidWorks and ANSYS (For Ground Vehicle), combined with a solid understanding of
manufacturing processes. This position is open for both interns and full-time
professionals who are passionate about creating designs that meet industrial standards
and manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks for autonomous


ground vehicle components, ensuring alignment with industrial standards and
design requirements.
• Perform simulations and analysis using ANSYS to validate designs for
functionality, durability, and manufacturability, particularly under autonomous
vehicle operational conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are optimized for
manufacturing processes.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project
specifications related to robotics and autonomous systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the manufacturability of designs, suggest
improvements for efficiency, and reduce production costs.
• Stay updated on the latest design and manufacturing trends, particularly within
the field of autonomous robotics, to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
• Contribute to state-of-the-art research and publications on autonomous ground
vehicles, with opportunities to publish research papers and participate in innovative
projects.
• Gain hands-on experience in the full design-to-manufacturing process of cutting-
edge autonomous systems.
Qualifications

• For Interns: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Robotics,


Mechanical, Industrial Design or a related field.
• For Full-Time: A Bachelor's/Masters’s Degree in Mechanical, Robotics,
Mechatronics or related field with proven experience in design and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Experience with ANSYS or similar simulation tools for structural and thermal
analysis.
• Strong understanding of robotic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or prototyping environments.


• Understanding of design optimization for additive manufacturing and other modern
techniques.
• Knowledge of project management tools and documentation.
