COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is an introductory course that explores basic knowledge, skills and values in the use technology for teaching and learning. It includes ICT
policies and safety issues, media and technology in various content areas, learning theories and principles in the use and design of learning
lessons, teaching-learning experiences and assessment tasks that utilize appropriate traditional and innovative technologies with social ethical and
legal responsibility in the use of technology tools and resources.

ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION POLICIES:

1. Maintaining regular attendance is essential for success in this course. Students who miss more than 20% of the scheduled class or laboratory
sessions during the term may not earn credit for the course. However, exemptions may be granted under specific circumstances as outlined in Article
8, Section 1 of the Student Handbook.
2. If a student accumulates three unexcused absences, they may be withdrawn from the course. The instructor will notify the class adviser and the
class adviser should inform the parents.
3. Students arriving within 15 minutes of the class start time are welcome to join. To minimize disruptions and maintain a conducive learning
environment, students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted to the class.

GRADING SCALE AND POLICIES ON LATE WORK, MAKE-UP EXAMS, AND RE-GRADING:
