Process Engineer | Utilities
• Continuous Utilities Supply: Un-interrupted provision of Water, Steam, Compressed Air & Fuel Gas/Fuel Oil at
specified pressure, Flow & Temperature.
• Process Safety: Ensuring normal plant operations with respect to Workforce & Asset safety & Integrity, Quality
and Yield, Environment and Disposals. PPEs compliance, Housekeeping, Staff training and Guidance, SOPs and
individual level mentoring leading towards safe plant operation.
• Reverse Osmosis Unit: ITB Floatation, Technical & Commercial Bids screening, formulation, selection and award
proposal for 100 cubic meter of Unit capacity.
• Permit to Work Compliance: Compliance with permits regarding Cold, Hot, Civil & Excavation jobs.
• Water Resource Management: Deep water Tube well Development, ERS survey, Well logging, Compressor
cleaning & Commissioning. Water treatment & distribution facility along with gap monitoring.
• Logging of Parameters: Hourly based monitoring of plant parameters resulting in smooth and optimized
operation. Timely correspondence towards any breakdown.
• Liaison with Maintenance Department: Focal person for effective and timely communication towards different
maintenance sections including Electrical, Instrument, Inspection and Civil.
• Chemical Storage, handling & Disposal: SOP compliance both on-field and off the field resulting in Zero LTI
and meeting Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) disposal conditions.
• Documentation of ENPI, KPI, LTI: Keeping these under desired baselines thus effecting both company &
workforce in most appropriate way.
• Workforce Management: Duty roaster management of 60 individuals to control Overtimes and labour off hours
thus effecting Unit downtime and Product yield and quality.
• Inventory Management: Production planning and Demand forecasting regarding Chemicals, Raw materials and
Finished products.
• Audit, Inspection & Walkaround: Monthly monitoring for compliance of quality protocols and environmental
regulations. Identification, elimination and reduction of associated Risks & Hazards.
• Budgeting: Shortlisting of equipment based on priority for early purchase, installation and commissioning.
• Workforce Training: Weekly training, documentation & Re-assessment of workforce regarding effectiveness of
deliverables.
• Equipment Handling: Equipment isolation, draining, depressurizing, purging, changeover and handing over to
maintenance sections for both planned and un-planned shutdown.
• Troubleshooting: Emergency handling, Plant shutdown/startup & troubleshooting of rotating machinery and static
equipment. Control of Parameters leading towards any sort of discrepancy.
• Plant & Equipment Understanding: Boilers (Water & Fire Tube), Compressors, Pumps, Motors, Cooling
Towers, Submersible Pumps & Reverse Osmosis Plant (RO).

Process Engineer | Plants


• DCS Operations: Hands on experience of Honeywell based C–300 Experisan operating ADU Unit, UOP
hydrotreating, Platforming and Isomerisation Unit. Gas gathering & Flare control & optimization.
• Process Safety: Ensuring normal plant operations with respect to Workforce & Asset safety & Integrity, Quality
and Yield, Environment and Disposals. PPEs compliance, Housekeeping, Staff training and Guidance, SOPs and
individual level mentoring leading towards safe plant operation.
• Shift Management: Liasson among the Field Operator and Boardman, Field & Maintenance staff to ensure safe,
smooth and optimum operation.
• PMG Production: Ensuring operation of Distillation units to provide Full Boiling range Naphtha to downstream
units while maintaining both IBP, FBP and RVP.
• Middle Distillates Production: Maximum recovery of middle distillates thus resulting in low yield of DFO. Slop
optimization and distillate recovery.
• Parameters Monitoring: Keeping both Fixed and Manipulating variables under the design values thus benefiting
both process and individual level safety and integrity.
• Permit to Work Compliance: Compliance with permits regarding Cold, Hot, Civil & Excavation jobs.
• Logging of Parameters: Hourly based monitoring of plant parameters resulting in smooth and optimized
operation. Timely correspondence towards any breakdown.
• Audit, Inspection & Walkaround: Monthly monitoring for compliance of quality protocols and environmental
regulations. Preparation of SOPs & Work Instructions. Identification, elimination and reduction of associated Risks
& Hazards.
• Crude & Product Storage, Decanting & Monitoring: Formation of Monthly Production plan via effective sale
and purchase orders. Storage & handling, draining & Switchover of tanks. Design of storage tanks and dykes for
spillage handling.
• Material & Energy Balance: Daily, Fortnightly & Monthly Balance formation & monitoring, identification of
root cause, elimination & mitigation action regarding any change resulting in yield and quality.
• Documentation of ENPI, KPI, LTI: Keeping these under desired baselines thus effecting both company &
workforce in most appropriate way.
• Workforce Training: ERP, DCS, OTS, First Aid, Chemical Handling & Spillage, Fire Extinguishing, H2S leakage
and Evacuation training for making workforce confident and familiar.
• Equipment Handling: Equipment isolation, draining, depressurizing, purging, changeover and handing over to
maintenance sections for both planned and un-planned shutdown.
• Troubleshooting: In case of Failure of Power, Steam, Instrument Air, Fuel Gas/Oil, Cooling water & DCS.
• Plant & Equipment Understanding: Fixed Bed Reactors (Hydrotreating, Platforming & Isomerization),
Compressors, Oil Mist Generator, Pumps, Motors, Cooling Towers, Submersible Pumps, Gas gathering & Flare.

• Coil Tubing Section: Worked for maintenance and overhauling of Coil Tubing Unit, Nitrogen Unit, Blow Out
