1. Introduction

Purpose of the Document


This document serves as a comprehensive guide for Stock Sync users. It details the
app's installation, features, and functionalities to ensure a smooth and efficient user
experience.

About Stock Sync


Stock Sync is a robust and versatile inventory management application designed to help
e-commerce businesses automate and synchronize their inventory across various
platforms and marketplaces. With its user-friendly interface and powerful features,
Stock Sync streamlines the process of managing product listings, prices, and stock
levels, saving businesses time and reducing the risk of overstocking or stockouts.

2. Getting Started with PrestaShop

Installation and Setup


● Install the Stock Sync module
● Configure it
● Click the "Connect" blue button to generate store key and copy it
● Go to https://app.stock-sync.com/signup/prestashop to sign up
● Enter the URL of your PrestaShop store and the store key from the previous step
● Note about the URL
● If your URL is https://your-domain.com, please choose https:// from the protocol
selection and enter your-domain.com as the store URL
● If your URL is https://your-domain.com/shop1, please choose https:// from the
protocol selection and enter your-domain.com/shop1 as the store URL
● Next, enter your email and password, click the "Sign up" button
● Go back to the Stock Sync module in your PrestaShop store, link your PrestaShop
account and subscribe to a plan so that your status in
https://app.stock-sync.com/ will be active

3. Using Stock Sync with PrestaShop

On the PrestaShop platform, Stock Sync can perform

- Update existing products in store -

Click on Create New on the Dashboard


Click on Proceed on the Update Product

Choose the Connection or Supplier that you are already connected to

Matching Column is a step of matching the feed file columns to the store's product fields. On the
left is the store's product fields and on the are the feed file columns.
These are the fields that are available in the store that can updated.

The columns that are available in the feed file that the supplier or drop shipper provides. Match
these columns to the store's product fields to update or add. It can be a column index or column
name.

The Matching Column is the same for all file formats except for JSON and XML format.
