Definition of Teaching

- Teaching is a process where systematic methods are used to transmit


knowledge into someone, imparting knowledge, skills, and values to
others. And Teaching has a profound and far-reaching impact on
students that spans their academic development and the overall
person, empowering learners to construct knowledge to grow and plan
for delivering educational material and assessing it to produce
understanding and learning.

EFFECT OF TEACHING IN STUDENT

There are a lot of effects in teaching but here’s some effect that we can give:

1. Effective teaching builds foundational knowledge, from basic skills like


reading and writing to complex problem-solving abilities.

2. Effective teaching impacts student’s academic, physical, socio-


emotional, and behavioral well- being.

3. Teaching has a profound impact on students, shaping their cognitive,


social, and emotional development.

4. Teaching has the power to inspire students to make a positive impact


on society. By cultivating empathy, social awareness, and a sense of
responsibility.

5. Students can benefit from teaching in a number of ways, including


increased self-confidence, improved academic achievement, improved
interpersonal skills, and renewed motivation to pursue their aspirations
and goals.

STRATEGIES AND TECHNIQUES OF TEACHING


Here’s (5) strategies and techniques in teaching:

1. Active Learning
- Group Work to encourage collaboration and build communication skills,
reinforce concepts through peer discussion.

2. Collaborative learning
- is a teaching strategy that focuses on encouraging teamwork and
partnership. It involves bringing together students with various skills in
groups for solving a problem or completing a task.

3. Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL)


- is a teaching strategy that centers on students’ curiosity, encouraging
them to explore, ask questions, and investigate topics deeply rather
than passively receiving information. This approach helps students
develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deeper
understanding of the material.

4. Give positive feedback


- Instead of rewarding intellect, praise students when they try new
methods and make plans.

5. Reflection and Adaptation


- Effective teaching necessitates reflective practice and ongoing
progress. Educators can adjust and develop their teaching tactics to
meet the changing requirements of their students by reflecting on
instructional practices and measuring their success.
