The purpose is to identify the root causes leading to gaps across organization and providing the required programs to remove those gaps.
INDUCTION TRAINING: This is a 23 week training course that is divided into three phases: Making transition from college to cooperate. During this stage basic soft skill and email regarding training is given. Building a strong foundation in software. This phase of the program ensures that every Infosys engineer has the same education in software basics and understands Infosys processes, terminology, and tools. Developing specific technical skills. In this stage specific subject regarding training is given to prepare freshers to join various projects. QUALITY PROCESS TRAINING:
Infosys has a strong focus on quality processes and methodologies. This training is tailored to the role that one is playing i.e. Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, and Project Managers etc.
PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS AND MANAGERIAL PROGRAMS: Programs to enhance the managerial capabilities and leadership abilities, to enable better customer satisfaction, achieve organizational vision and create high performing multicultural teams. ILI: THE INFOSYS LEADERSHIP SYSTEM: The Infosys Leadership System (ILS) and the Infosys Leadership Institute (ILI) address the issue of sustained growth in general and creates a formal and committed system for developing leadership capabilities in Infoscions. The most significant attribute of the Infosys leadership development model is its partnership approach with the other groups in Infosys and the ownership of the entire process by the top management in what is termed as the Internal Synergy Model. These all show Infosys inclination towards the overall growth of its employees and as it operates in a dynamic environment where needs of the clients are to be satisfied with best possible results all these initiatives become very important. Company is following an intensive training schedule which the employees have to follow for their regular improvement. The budget of $ 184 million shows that a large amount of investment is made by the company in its training initiatives. The rigorous training schedule followed by company ensures that the graduates fit well into the organization and are able to cope with their workload. The delivery is done by using presentations, online learning etc. to ensure active involvement of candidates. Leadership training at top level ensures that employees are prepared to take up senior positions. The learning centre at Mysore that provides the best of the facilities to its employees ensures that the employees are motivated to go for trainings. The goal to continuously develop and attract best talent in fulfilled by the training initiative. 360 degree appraisal is used for training needs assessment which provided adequate details about the needs of employees as it is one of the most widely used method.
