Abstract

Write an introduction 3-5 (or more) sentence paragraph explaining the key components

and effectiveness of reflective writing. Be sure to use the data sources from the learning guide for

Week 5.

Part 2

Write an introduction 3-5 (or more) sentence paragraph explaining what you will discuss

in your paper and include a thesis statement. Be sure to tell the reader what your topic is, explain

its importance and include a thesis statement. Unsure of how to do this, please look at the

sample. Advice: Pick 3 different things that you would like to discuss about your topic. It makes

it easy to research and create a thesis topic.

Self-Awareness

Write a 3-5 sentence (or more) paragraph explaining your personal reflection, thoughts,

emotions, or behaviors related to your topic. You could discuss how you recognize the topic’s

strengths, weaknesses, or biases, and how these aspects influence your perspective about the

topic. The paragraph should also demonstrate a deeper understanding of how your own self-

awareness contributes to your own knowledge of growth or change. Unsure of how to do this,

please look at the sample.

Critical Thinking

Write a 3-5 sentence (or more) paragraph explaining how you have used critically

thinking skills about this topic to arrive at the opinion that you currently have. What research did

you conduct to help you get to this conclusion? Did the research provide insights you believe are

important? Use intext citations to make your argument strong. Unsure of how to do this, please

look at the sample.

Organization

Write a 3-5 sentence (or more) paragraph explaining how you organized your thoughts on

conducting your research. Why did you pick this topic? What is it that you want to know more

about? How did the research you found help you organize what you decided to write about? Use

Supporting Evidence

Write a 3-5 sentence (or more) paragraph explaining the supporting evidence you found.

Remember my advice from the introduction? If you find 3 things to say about your topic, you

can find 3 articles on JSTOR (3 years old, 2021 -2024) and explain how each one of those

support your topic. Use intext citations to make your argument strong. Unsure of how to do this,

Reflection

Write a 3-5 sentence (or more) paragraph explaining how you feel about the topic now

that you have researched it. What has the research taught you? Use intext citations to make your

argument strong. Unsure of how to do this, please look at the sample.

Conclusion

Write a 3-5 sentence paragraph summarizing your paper and reflecting on your topic

overall. Explain how researching helped you to understand your topic better.
