Billy is reading an article in a children’s magazine. Read the article carefully, choose the best answers for
Questions 1−5 and complete Question 6.

The Chan Twins

Sally and Suzie Chan are twins. They are both nine years old.
Their birthdays are on the same day. They look the same but
they are different in many ways. They could do different things
when they were young and they like doing different things now.
5 Sally and Suzie can do many things by themselves.
Sometimes Sally is better than Suzie and sometimes Suzie is
better than Sally.
When they were four, Suzie could comb her hair by herself
but Sally couldn’t. Suzie helped her. The girls could get dressed
by themselves when they were five. However, Suzie couldn’t do
10 up her buttons or tie her shoelaces then. She could only do
these when she was six. Sally could do up her buttons and tie
her shoelaces when she was five. The girls could both carry their
school bags by themselves when they were four.
In their spare time, Sally often plays basketball with her
15 friends Tom and May. She is good at running too. Suzie often
practises the flute at home. She also likes chatting with her
friend Linda. At school, the girls sometimes play hopscotch and
hide-and-seek at recess.
Sally loves Suzie and Suzie loves Sally too. They are growing
up together happily.
