Work/Internship Experience

• Summer Intern at KLA Corporation: Jun 2021 - Present


▪ To check the feasibility to implement existing architecture with database to local file system
using git. Build a prototype with a reliable solution.
▪ Goals were to Track Version History, preserve original functionality to transmit individual
folders, reduce memory footprint of the data stored.
▪ Built an application that reduces memory usage by 45x, and avoids unnecessary time delays.
• Software Engineer at GGKTech: May 2018 – Oct 2018
▪ Gained understanding of US healthcare and insurance system.
▪ Worked on building an online insurance portal for client.
▪ Gained understanding of web development process, build tools like Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy,
development tools like eclipse, postman, git, maven and project management tool Jira.

Other Projects
• Vaccine Availability Notifier: May 2021
▪ In this project, we built a Vaccine availability notifier using jQuery, Flask, Firebase, and Heroku.
▪ User has to enter his email along with pin code or district. We will continuously check for vaccine
availability using Co-win API. Once the vaccine is available, people will be notified using Email.
▪ Received more than 10000 views in a week & more than 2000 people registered.
• Real-time Analysis & Visualisation of Trending Articles: Nov 2020
▪ In this project, NLP techniques such as data pre-processing, text normalization, frequency
analysis, sentiment analysis are done to extract trending list of words from Twitter API.
▪ Built a web application using Flask, PostgreSQL, Heroku, NLTK.
▪ Visualization is done using wordcloud made by HighCharts library.

• Command Line File Explorer for UNIX: Sep 2020
▪ In this project, we built a fully functional file explorer with a restricted feature set using C++.
▪ Works in 2 modes:
▪ Normal Mode - used to browse through directories filesystem.
▪ Command Mode - used to enter shell commands.
