Abstract
Introduction
The rapid advancements in both quantum computing and
machine learning have catalyzed interdisciplinary research
aimed at harnessing the unique advantages of quantum
mechanics to address the computational limitations of
classical machine learning models. Quantum Neural
Networks (QNNs) emerge as a promising framework that
amalgamates the representational power of neural networks
with the parallelism and probabilistic nature of quantum
systems. Unlike classical neural networks, which rely on
deterministic computations, QNNs exploit quantum
phenomena such as superposition and entanglement to
process and encode information in ways that could
potentially surpass classical capabilities.
Methodology
Results
Preliminary experiments indicate that the proposed QNN
architecture demonstrates promising performance on the
MNIST dataset, achieving classification accuracy comparable
to that of classical neural networks with a similar number of
parameters. Notably, the QNN exhibits faster convergence
during training, suggesting that the quantum-enhanced
feature representation facilitates more efficient learning
dynamics.
