My Computing Passport

Basic Skills

I can use algorithms to control devices or objects on


screen (C.S)

I can get online and visit a range of websites using a


variety of routes (not only via the Melling website) (D.L)

I can type work in Word, changing the font size and style
(I.T)

Computer Science
I can give precise instructions in a sensible order to make
something happen on and off screen and know that this
is an algorithm
I can write a program using instructions for a robot or
software and know that this is coding

I can look at a simple program or code and predict what


will happen

I can find a problem in a set of instructions, on and off


screen, suggest how to solve the problem and know that
this is called debugging

Digital Literacy

I can log on and off our school computers correctly

I can use the internet to find out information

I know that information including images online can be


shared at home, school and worldwide

I can explain why I need to keep my passwords and


personal information safe

I can describe the things that happen online that I should


tell an adult about
