BASIC RULES OF WRITING- Updated
1. Match mail word count with Brief word count; if you find a mismatch in word count,
deadline and payment; or if you have any query, reach available HR.
2. You must Acknowledge within 4 hours after receiving the mail. Make sure to include
your Google Doc link.
3. If the Page layout is not mentioned in the brief, then follow
the below formation-
a) Page size A4
b) Font size 12, Times New Roman/ Arial
c) Spacing- 1.5
• Add space after paragraph
• Add Space before the paragraph
• Justified text
• insert page number
4. Add the University logo on the cover page, if it’s given on the brief file. Make sure it’s not
blurry or discoloured. If blurry or discoloured, download the same logo from the internet
and then insert that logo in your work.
5. Include “Module Title” as the Title and Assignment topic on the cover page. Table of
Contents will be in the second page.
6. Change your Grammarly to “UK English”. (From Grammarly Sign in)
7. The reflection essay will be written in 1 st person.
8. Do not exceed 10% of the word count if mentioned. Less than 10% of the excess words
and below 10% of plagiarism are accepted. You must submit your task with 0% AI.
9. The essay would contain only 3 parts- Introduction, Main Headings, and Conclusion. (No
Subheading allowed). The essay will not contain a table of contents, images, figures, bullet
points, charts etc)
10. In the academic report, the standard sentence length must be 1.5 or 2 lines long.
11. The language should be clear, precise and understandable. Any vague terms should be
avoided.

13. Only your introduction, conclusion and references should be heading 1. Every question
should be headed 2 or 3.
14. References, Introduction and Conclusion limit. Follow this in case nothing is mentioned in
the brief file:

15. References Rules:
a) Reference should be pasted by keeping the source formatting
b) Make sure you sort your references in ascending order (A-Z).
c) It is always “References” or “Reference List” (Not Reference; singular form).
d) At least add 3 intext citations on each page (In the case of the literature review, it should
have more in-text citations)
e) Don’t use references that are over 10 years old.
f) 70% references from books, 20% journals, and 10% websites.
g) Ensure in-text citation for all the References.
h) If you use any company, you should put the (2-3) website references of that specific
company.
i) Don’t add a reference without an author’s name and publication year. (City name also)
j) References must be relevant and authentic; for example, business assignments must
have business-related references or health assignments must have healthcare-related
references.
16. Never use any Paraphrasing or AI Tool. If it has been identified, Assignoholic will ensure
serious punishment for it.
17. Update your table of contents before sending the file.
18. Presentation Instructions
a) Add a welcome Slide where the Module title should be mentioned.
b) Introduction and conclusion slides must be included.
c) Slide notes must be included.
d) Relevant images must be included.
e) Download your template from SlideCarnival or SlidesGo. Basic templates are not
acceptable.
f) Make sure your presentation has eye-soothing colours. You should not use Light or
Dark colours.
g) Use bullet points in the slides.
h) In-text citations must be provided in your slides and slide notes.
