SECTION B: SUBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS (EMPLOYABILITY)
6. Stress may cause disease-causing factors, like headaches, upset stomach, rashes, insomnia, ulcers, high blood pressure, heart
diseases, and stroke, etc.
7. The function keys are used to perform specific functions. Their functions differ from program to program. For example, the
function of the F1 key in most programs is to get help on that program.
8. The term entrepreneurship first appeared in the French dictionary in the year 1723 but it still remains a new concept. In simple
term starting a business using the resources available. Below are the positive impacts of entrepreneurship.
Increases economic growth
Fosters creativity
Stimulates innovation and efficiency
Solve the problems of the society
Encourages the welfare of society
Fulfills ever-growing and ever-changing demands of society.
and it plays boosting up entrepreneurship by-
Creating needs and demands
Providing raw materials
Enabling financial support
Creating need for education
Facilitating networking
Support infrastructure development
9. Factors influencing internal barriers include intense emotions, poor listening skills, prejudice, different viewpoints, or different
cultural backgrounds.
10. Sustainable development is necessary for the maintenance of the environment. There is a need for sustainable development
because of the following reasons:
i. Sustainable development teaches people to make use of means and resources for the maximum benefit without wastage.
ii. Sustainable development brings about changes in people’s knowledge, attitude, and skill.
iii. Sustainable development aims at achieving the goal of economic and social development without destroying the Earth’s means
and resources.
SECTION B: SUBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS (SUBJECT-SA)
11. The world of Artificial Intelligence requires authentic and reliable Data. Proper and ethical handling of own data of organisation
or users’ data is called data privacy. Simply, it is all about the rights of individuals with respect to their personal information/data.
Data privacy/ information privacy is a branch of data security dealing with the proper handling of data - consent, notice, and
legal/regulatory obligations. Practical data privacy concerns often deal with consent: Whether or how Data is shared with third
parties.
12. There are two approaches for AI Modelling; Rule-Based and Learning Based. The Rule-based Approach generates pre-defined
outputs based on certain rules programmed by humans. The Learning-based Approach has its own rules based on the output and
data used to train the models.
13. Document Frequency is defined as the number of documents in which the frequencies of all words in a document are noted. In
inverse document frequency, we put the document frequency in the denominator, and the total number of documents is the
numerator. For example, when the document frequency of the word "CHAMAN" is 2 in a particular document (The total number
of documents is 3), then its inverse document frequency will be 3/2.
14. The following are the classification evaluation metrics:
i. Accuracy
ii. Confusion matrix
iii. Precision
iv. Recall
v. F1 Score
vi. Log Loss
15. The main function of SVM is to divide the datasets into classes to find a maximum marginal hyperplane (MMH). It may be done
in the following two steps:
First, SVM will generate hyperplanes iteratively to segregate the classes in the best way possible.
Then, it will choose the hyperplane for separating the classes correctly.
16. Three examples of datasets are given below:
i. Banks: Databases of loans issued, bank visitors, details of account holders, locker owners, employee registrations, etc.
ii. ATM Machines: visitor details, Usage details per day, cash denominations transaction details, etc.
iii. Movie Theatres: Movie details, tickets sold offline, tickets sold online, refreshment purchases, etc.
SECTION B: SUBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS (SUBJECT-LA)
17. AI has the following drawbacks/limitations:
i. Can’t Handle Emergency Situation
ii. Limited Ability
iii. Difficult code
iv. High Cost
v. Machine Ethics
vi. Slow Real-Time Response
vii. Decrease in demand for human labour
viii. AI may also be programmed to do something horrible/devastating.
ix. The storage and access are not as easy and effective as human brains.
x. No improvement with experience
18. a. Supervised Learning: Supervised Learning is defined as an approach to creating Artificial Intelligence (AI), where the
program is given labeled input data and the expected output results.
b. Unsupervised Learning: An unsupervised learning model works on an unlabelled Dataset. This means that the data that is
fed to the machine is random, and hence, there is a possibility that the user who is training the model does not have any clue/
information regarding it. The unsupervised learning models are employed to identify relationships, patterns, and trends out of
the data fed into them. It helps the user in understanding the major features as identified by the machine in it.
19. AI models can be classified as follows-

Data modeling approaches:

The two approaches of modeling namely rule based approach and learning based approach that are used for modeling AI
systems
Under rule-based approach, the developer feeds in data along with some ground rules to the model.
In the machine learning approach, the developer feeds in data along with the answers. The machine then designs its own
algorithms and methodologies to match the data with answers and gives out the rules.
20. The following are the steps of Text Normalisation:
i. Sentence Segmentation: Here, the whole corpus is divided into sentences. Each sentence is taken as different data. Hence,
now the whole corpus gets reduced to sentences.
ii. Tokenization: Here, every word, number, and special character of each sentence is considered separately for a separate token.
‘Tokens’ is a term used for any word or number or special character occurring in a sentence.
iii. Removing Stop words, Numbers, and Special Characters: In this step, the unnecessary tokens are removed from the token
list.
iv. Converting text to a common cause: In this step, the whole text is converted into a similar case, preferably lower case, to
ensure that the case sensitivity of the machine does not consider the same words as different due to different cases.
v. Stemming: In this process, the remaining words are reduced to their root words by removing the affixes of words.
vi. Lemmatisation: In Lemmatisation, the word we get after affix removal (also known as lemma) is a meaningful one.
vii. Converting tokens into numbers: In this step, tokens are converted into numbers by using the Bag of Words algorithm.
21. Confusion Matrix: Confusion Matrix is a 2× 2 table used to describe the performance of an AI classification model/classifier on
a set of testing data. This matrix is called the Confusion Matrix. Evaluation of the performance of an AI classification model is
based on the courts of test records correctly and incorrectly as predicted by the model. Therefore, the confusion matrix is useful
for measuring Recall (also known as Sensitivity), Accuracy, Precision, and F1 Score.
The following confusion matrix table for calculation of the 4-classification metrics (TP, TN, FN, TN) and to predict value
compared to the actual value in a confusion matrix:
Reality
The Confusion Matrix
Yes No

Yes True Positive (TP) False Positive (FP)

Prediction
No False Negative (FN) True Negative (TN)
The features of the confusion matrix are as below:
The target variable may have two values: Positive or Negative.
The rows represent the predicted values for the target variable.
The columns represent the actual values of the target variable.
True Positive, True Negative, False Positive, and False Negative are in a Confusion Matrix.
i. True Positive (TP): When the predicted value matches the actual value, it is called True Positive. The actual value was
positive, and the model predicted a positive value.
ii. True Negative (TN): When the predicted value matches the actual negative value, then it is called True Negative. The actual
value was negative, and the model also predicted a negative value.
iii. False Positive (FP): When the predicted value was falsely predicted, then it is called False Positive. Thus, the actual value
was negative, but the model predicted a positive value. This is also known as the Type 1 error.
iv. False Negative (FN): When the predicted value was falsely predicted, then it is called False Negative. Thus, the actual value
was positive, but the model predicted a negative value. This is also known as the Type 2 error.
Example: Case of Loan given by banks (Good loan & Bad loan)
Here, the result of TP will be that bad loans are correctly predicted as bad loans.
While the value of TN will be that good loans are correctly predicted as good loans.
The value of FP will be that (actual) good loans are incorrectly predicted as bad loans.
The value of FN will be that (actual) bad loans are incorrectly predicted as good loans.
Therefore, the bank will lose a bunch of money when the actual bad loans are predicted as good loans because loans are not being
repaid. On the other hand, banks won’t be capable of making more revenue when the actual good loans are predicted as bad loans.
Thus, in this case, the cost of False Negatives is much higher than the cost of False Positives(FN).

21. Imagine developing a prediction model based on AI and deploying it to monitor traffic congestion on the [4]
roadways. Now, the model's goal is to foretell whether or not there will be a traffic jam. Now, to evaluate the
effectiveness of this model, we must confirm that the predictions that it either makes are accurate or not.
Consequently, there are two circumstances that we must consider the concepts of prediction and reality.
Today, traffic jams are a regular occurrence in our life. Every time you get on the road when you live in an urban
location, you have to deal with traffic. Most pupils choose to take buses to school. Due to these traffic
bottlenecks, the bus frequently runs late, making it impossible for the pupils to get to school on time. Create a
Confusion Matrix for the aforementioned scenario while taking into account all potential outcomes.
