Overview

In this assignment, you will fill in the assignment template to reflect on your values, strengths, areas of
improvement, and experiences. This will prepare you for future job interviews by capturing who you
are and how you’re already utilizing the 10 skills to work toward your professional.

There are three parts of this template for you to complete:

1. Reflect on Your Goals, Strengths, and Growth Opportunities


2. Share Two Experiences
3. Reflection

REFLECT ON YOUR GOALS, STRENGTHS, AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

1a. What are your values, motivations, or aspirations?

Some of my personal values include integrity and responsibility. I am also innovative something that I
think will come in handy in my next job. Most of my motivation comes from my achievements. I am
always yearning for more. I am also curious something that makes always want to try out new ways
of doing things. When it comes to aspirations, I want to have aa global impact when it comes to what
I do.

1b. What are some of your main personal, academic, and professional goals?

My personal goals is to be the best and help others in what they do. I want to make sure that
everyone in my team reaches their full potential in terms of productivity. I am a degree holder and
also hold other accolades in different academic spectrums. My goal however is to pursue a PhD in
my area of study.

1c. What are some of your strength areas? Think about the top 2–3 skills you would advertise about
yourself or consider why people come to you for help or advice.

My strength is being a team player. I like to work with others in realizing our objectives. I am also a
problem solver. I can handle difficult situations without necessarily waiting for the management to
make the decisions. I am also a time conscious person. I believe in meeting deadlines at the
stipulated time.

I am not great with computers. This is an area that I think I need to work on and make sure that I am
at a position where I can handle complex problems within the company.

3a. How has reflecting on your goals, strengths, areas of growth, and experiences been valuable for
you at work, home, and in your personal life?

I have been able to become a better planner and communicator. I have also improved on my
managerial skills because I know to handle everyone better.

3b. What are two ways you can build-in a regular practice of reflection that will help you reach your
future goals?

One of the ways is to set consistent evaluations that should be done at specific periods of time. The
other way is to use an external body to conduct the evaluation. This is important because it reduces
bias.

3c. How have two of the 10 Skills helped you describe the experiences you listed in Part 2?

The two skills I described have helped me become a problem solver. I have been able to understand
more what my team members want. This is something that has enhanced rapport within the
company.

3d. Do you feel more confident in communicating your experiences to an employer? Briefly explain
why.

I now feel more confident and the fear is gone. I can now face anyone in the case where there is
need to communicate anything in the company.
