Receiver Group Technical Manual TM-08M/E1430 ).
3 On PSR Control Panel main panel ( Fig. 4.3.1) locate the Pushbutton Menu ( Fig. 4.3.2).
4 On PSR Control Panel, select Timing & Control from Maintenance menu then click on RF/IF. The
Maintenance Timing & Control - [RF/F] window will be shown ( Fig. 4.3.3).
5 On PSR Control Panel Command Parameter Operation section ( Fig. 4.3.6) select Read Class
Parameter pushbutton ( Fig. 4.3.7).
6 On Maintenance Timing & Control - [RF/F] window ( Fig. 4.3.3) perform the following settings:
- COHO Selection: Auto
- 670 MHz Selection: Auto
- STALO Selection: Auto
- PM Trigger: OFF
- TTG Switch: TX
- SP Trigger: Auto
- LP Trigger: OFF
7 On PSR Control Panel, select Timing & Control from Maintenance menu then click on TTG. The
Maintenance Timing & Control - [TTG] window will be shown ( Fig. 4.3.6).
8 On Maintenance Timing & Control - [TTG] window ( Fig. 4.3.3) perform the following settings:
- TTG Activation: OFF
9 On PSR Control Panel main window, select System from Operative menu. The System Operative
window will be shown ( Fig. 4.3.4).
10 On System Operative window ( Fig. 4.3.4) perform the following settings:
- Frequency Mode: Fixed
- Frequency 1: Fsel11
- Frequency 2: Fsel12
11 On PSR Control Panel Command Parameter Operation section ( Fig. 4.3.6) select Write Class
Parameter pushbutton ( Fig. 4.3.7).
12 Connect the Peak Power Meter, through 30 dB attenuator and Peak Power Sensor, to Transmitter
Unit Directional Coupler (G1A3DC1) ( Fig. 4.3.8, ref. 5) connector J2.
NOTE
The 30 dB attenautor must be connected to connector J2, the Peak Power Sensor to the Attenuator and
then the Peak Power Meter to Peak Power Sensor. ToT Signal is available at Radar Processor Connectors
Plate at connector CP3.

13 Perform Antenna Rotation ON procedure (Proc. 2.25).
14 Perform Radiation ON procedure .
15 Verify the following signal features:
- Pulse Duration ≤ 1 µs ± 100 ns
- Peak Power ≥ 69.7 dBm at pulse center.
- Pulse rise time < 100 ns
- Pulse fall time < 65 ns
NOTE
In order to calculate the Pulse Peak Power it is necessary to consider the 30 dB of attenuator and the
Directional Coupler attenuation (written on it) at working frequency (2800 MHz). If the values are not
fulfilled perform the needed troubleshooting procedures .
16 On PSR Control Panel, select Timing & Control from Maintenance menu then click on RF/IF. The
Maintenance Timing & Control - [RF/F] window will be shown ( Fig. 4.3.3).
17 On Maintenance Timing & Control - [RF/F] window ( Fig. 4.3.3) perform the following settings:
- SP Trigger: OFF
- LP Trigger: Auto
18 On PSR Control Panel Command Parameter Operation section ( Fig. 4.3.6) select Write Class
Parameter pushbutton ( Fig. 4.3.7).
19 Verify the following signal features:
- Pulse Duration ≤ 90 µs ± 100 ns
- Peak Power ≥ 69.7 dBm at pulse center.
- Pulse rise time < 100 ns
- Pulse fall time < 65 ns
NOTE
In order to calculate the Pulse Peak Power it is necessary to consider the 30 dB of attenuator and the
Directional Coupler attenuation (written on it) at working frequency (2800 MHz). If the values are not
fulfilled perform the needed troubleshooting procedures.
20 Repeat the step from Step. 2 to Step. 19 for RXU B.
21 Load the Site Setting previously saved (Refer to ATCR33S ENH Receiver Group Technical Manual
TM-08/E1430).
22 Restore the connections.
