European Union
• The European Union is a
political and economic
union.
• It consists 27 member
countries that are located
in Europe.
• The parliament meetings
take place in Brussels,
Belgium and in Strasburg,
France.
Italy
• Italy is a country in Southern
Europe. It`s known for its
architecture, culture, art, opera,
literature, etc.
• Italy has 450 islands, the largest one
is Sicily.
• The highest mountain is Mont Blanc.
• The largest lake is Lake Garda or in
Italian `Lago di Garda`.
• Italy shares borders with France,
Switzerland, Austria, and
Slovenia.
Germany
• Germany is a country located
in Central Europe.It is
known for it’s rich
history,diverse culture,
and strong economy. The
capital city of Germany is
Berlin. The country is
bordered by Denmark to
the north, Poland and
Czech Republic to the
east, Australia and
Switzerland to the south,
and France, Luxemburg,
Belgium, and the
Netherlands to the west.
Spain
• Spain, a country on Europe’s
Iberian Peninsula, includes
17 autonomous regions with
diverse geography and
cultures. Capital city Madrid
is home to the Royal Palace
and Prado museum, housing
works by European masters.
Segovia has a medieval
castle (the Alcázar) and an
intact Roman aqueduct.
Catalonia’s capital,
Barcelona, is defined by
Antoni Gaudí’s whimsical
modernist landmarks like the
Sagrada Família church.
Belgium
• Belgium officially the
Kingdom of Belgium is
country in Northwestern
Europe. Belgium is part
of an area known as the
Low Countries, histocally
a somewhat larger
region than the Benelux
group of states, as it also
included parts of
northern France. Belgium
is world-famous for its
chocolate, waffles, beer,
and its national football
team, the Red Devils.


Rome
• Rome, Italy`s capital city,
it`s famous because of its
history and beauty.
• Rome has famous
monument`s such as: The
Colosseum, Roman
Forum, Trevi fountain, etc.
• The Colosseum is a large
amphitheater. It holds
more then 50,000
spectators.
Berlin
• Berlin is the capital and the
largest city of Germany,
located in the northeastern
part of the country. It is
known for it’s rich story,
vibrant culture, and diverse
population. Berlin has been
a significant political,
cultural, and economic
center throughout it’s
history, with landmarks
such as the BerlinWall,
Brandenburg Gate, and
Reichstag building bearing
witness to it’s past.
Madrid
• Madrid, Spain’s central capital,
is a city of elegant
boulevards and expansive,
manicured parks such as the
Buen Retiro. It’s renowned
for its rich repositories of
European art, including the
Prado Museum’s works by
Goya, Velázquez and other
Spanish masters. The heart
of old Hapsburg Madrid is the
portico-lined Plaza Mayor,
and nearby is the baroque
Royal Palace and Armory,
displaying historic weaponry.
Brussel
• The City of Brussels is the largest
municipality and historical
centre of the Brussels-Capital
Region, as well as the capital
of the Flemish Region and
Belgium. The City of Brussels
is also the administrative
centre of the European Union,
as it hosts a number of
principal EU institutions in its
European Quarter.
