 The teacher plays a song related to countries and nationalities and asks his
learners to sing along.
 The teacher sticks the flashcards of countries and nationalities and explains T-L
the difference between them with the following examples:
 I live in Algeria, I am Algerian, I speak Arabic.
 I live in Palestine. I am Palestinian. I speak Arabic.
 I live in Egypt. I am Egyptian, I speak Arabic.
 I live in China. I am Chinese. I speak Chinese.
 I live in England. I am English. I speak English.
 I live in the USA. I am American. I speak English.
 The teacher points at the flashcard and says the nationality or country, then T-L
asks his learners to repeat chorally then individually.
 The teacher says: I live in……and the learners say: I am ……., I speak ……… T-L
 The teacher mentions a flashcard and asks a learner to show the flashcard of T-L
that same name on the board.
