Document Process

1. Identify the process

- In identifying the process by which we are going to use the research, we
are able to come to an agreement to use one of the group members' research
papers because it was accredited by the Ateneo de Naga Senior High School
research department and went to panelists that approved this research. It is also
one of the best-performed research projects in the class, which is why this
research was chosen by our group to evaluate and answer the questions given
in the research evaluation.

2. Place bounderies
- Our group members began the evaluation as soon as everyone had
read and understood the given research paper. The date on which we started
to make the research evaluation was May 4, 2023, and we finished our finalized
and polished paper on May 15, 2023, which took us 11 days to finish and polish
our work. We took our personal time to make use of and finish our work for this
research evaluation.

3. List the expected result

- Our expected result was to finish and completely answer every research
evaluation question and submit our work before the deadline.

4. Detail the inputs

- The materials that are used in this are our devices that aid us in entering
our work into the document.

5. Walk through the process

These are the processes that we have followed in order to finish this group work.

 We did brainstorming on which research to evaluate.

 Did a group agreement on which research evaluation to choose.
 chosen the research to evaluate.
 Read the research to be evaluated.
 Delegated the task to each groupmate to do in the group work.
 Each group member took their time to do their delegated task. by
minding the deadline of the task.
 Polished and finalized our work.
 Then submitted the paper.
 Did this documentation process

6. Determine who is involve

Here are the group members who are involved in making the research
evaluation
 Honra, Leo Matthew
 Monte, Jerome Christian
 Perete, Liam Roden
 Rebustillo, Christian Gerard
 Verdillo, Hans
7. Utilize your process documentation system
These are the notes of our research evaluation

Research Question:
 What are the effects of using poultry manure, rice hull, eggshells, and
banana peels as organic fertilizers on the growth of Pechay plants?

Methodology:
 Experimental Design: Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD)
 Sample Selection: Pechay plants (Brassica rapa L. ssp. chinensis) of similar size
and health
 Treatment Groups:
a. Control group: No additional fertilizer
b. Poultry manure group: Pechay plants treated with poultry manure as
fertilizer
c. Rice hull group: Pechay plants treated with rice hull as fertilizer
d. Eggshells group: Pechay plants treated with eggshells as fertilizer
e. Banana peels group: Pechay plants treated with banana peels as
fertilizer
f. Combination group: Pechay plants treated with a combination of all
four organic fertilizers
 Application of Fertilizers: Each treatment group received the appropriate
organic fertilizer based on the assigned treatment.
 Parameters measured:
a. Plant height: Measured in centimeters at regular intervals.
b. Leaf area: Determined using leaf area meter or by measuring leaf
dimensions and calculating using a formula.
c. Biomass: Weighing the harvested Pechay plants after drying to
determine the dry biomass.
d. Nutrient content: Analysis of plant tissue for essential nutrients such as
nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
 Replication: Multiple replications of each treatment group to ensure
statistical significance.
 Data Analysis: Statistical analysis using appropriate techniques such as
analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine significant differences between
treatment groups.

Findings:
 Plant Growth: Evaluate the growth parameters such as plant height, leaf
area, and biomass of Pechay plants in each treatment group.
 Compare the growth of plants in the control group with those in the fertilizer-
treated groups.
 Assess if there are any significant differences in plant growth between the
different organic fertilizers used.
 Analyze the growth of plants in the combination group compared to
individual fertilizer treatments.
 Nutrient Content: Analyze the nutrient content, particularly nitrogen,
phosphorus, and potassium, in the Pechay plants from each treatment group.
 Determine if there are variations in nutrient content among the different
organic fertilizers.
 Assess the overall nutrient uptake and availability in Pechay plants grown
with organic fertilizers compared to the control group.

Conclusion:
 Summarize the findings of the research evaluation, including the effects of
poultry manure, rice hull, eggshells, and banana peels as organic fertilizers
on the growth of Pechay plants.
 Identify which organic fertilizer(s) resulted in the most significant
improvements in plant growth parameters.
 Determine the nutrient enrichment provided by each organic fertilizer and its
impact on plant growth.
 Discuss the potential benefits and practical implications of using organic
fertilizers for Pechay cultivation.
