Week 1-2: Spiritual Growth and Disciplines
Learning Objectives:
Understand the importance of spiritual growth and disciplines in
personal faith and ministry
Identify and practice spiritual disciplines to foster spiritual growth
Introduction:
Begin the lesson by discussing the concept of spiritual growth and
disciplines and why they are important for personal faith and ministry.
Activity 1: Spiritual Disciplines Workshop
Divide students into small groups and assign each group a different
spiritual discipline (prayer, fasting, meditation, etc.).
Have each group research and prepare a short presentation on their
assigned discipline, including how to practice it and its benefits for
spiritual growth.
After the presentations, have students participate in a hands-on activity
related to each discipline (e.g. guided meditation, prayer walk, etc.).
Activity 2: Personal Spiritual Growth Plan

Have students reflect on their own spiritual journey and identify areas
where they would like to grow spiritually.
In pairs or small groups, have students create a personal spiritual growth
plan outlining specific spiritual disciplines they will practice and goals they

Week 3-4: Evangelism and Discipleship
Learning Objectives:
Understand the importance of evangelism and discipleship in spreading
the Gospel and building up the body of Christ
Develop practical skills for sharing their faith and discipling others
Introduction:
Discuss the Great Commission and the role of every believer in sharing
the Gospel and making disciples.
Activity 1: Evangelism Training
Invite a guest speaker or local evangelist to lead a workshop on effective
evangelism strategies and techniques.
Have students practice sharing their faith with a partner or small group
using role-playing scenarios.
Encourage students to reflect on their experience and discuss any
challenges or successes they encountered.
Activity 2: Discipleship Challenge
Assign each student a "discipleship challenge" where they are tasked

Learning Objectives:
Understand how to integrate faith into their professional lives and be a
witness for Christ in the workplace
Develop skills for navigating ethical dilemmas and standing firm in their
beliefs
Introduction:
Discuss the challenges and opportunities of living out one's faith in the
workplace and the importance of being a light in a dark world.
Activity 1: Faith at Work Panel Discussion
Invite a panel of Christian professionals from various fields (business,
healthcare, education, etc.) to share their experiences of integrating faith
into their work.
Have students prepare questions for the panelists and engage in a Q&A
session to learn practical tips and advice for living out their faith in the
workplace.
Encourage students to take notes and reflect on how they can apply the
panelists' insights to their own careers.
Activity 2: Ethical Dilemma Simulation

Present students with a series of ethical dilemmas commonly faced in
the workplace (e.g. cheating, lying, discrimination, etc.).
Divide students into groups and have them discuss each scenario,

Week 7-8: Preparing for College and Career

secular environment
Introduction:
Discuss the unique challenges and opportunities that arise when
transitioning to college or starting a career as a Christian, and the
importance of staying grounded in one's faith.
Activity 1: College and Career Readiness Workshop
Invite a college counselor or career advisor to lead a workshop on
preparing for college or entering the workforce, specifically from a
Christian perspective.
Have students participate in activities such as resume building, college
application tips, or networking strategies tailored to their future goals.
