EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The present idea relates generally to location detection systems and, more
specifically, to personal safety systems including a device that can be activated
upon attachment or on demand and able to determine and transmit data related to
the location of the device for monitoring at a central monitoring station which
disseminates the data through the use of proprietary software, wireless
communications, wire-based land communications and the Internet.
The personal safety system includes a central monitoring station and at least one
locator device. The locator device includes a GPS position device for generating
location data regarding said device and transponder for wirelessly transmitting the
location data to the central monitoring station.
The transponder has a receiver for receiving a location request signal from the
central monitoring station, whereby the transponder generates a response signal
including location information upon receipt of the location request signal. The
central monitoring station disseminates the data through the use of proprietary
software, wireless communications, wire-based land communications and the
Internet.
The locator device of the idea can be incorporated into footwear forming an integral
part therewith and in the preferred embodiment is a module that can be inserted into
a preformed socket contained within footwear. Said socket preferably made either
in the midsole or heel of the footwear.
The idea additionally provides for the locator unit to be placed within the tongue of
the footwear.
7|Page
A primary object of the idea is to provide a system for locating an individual that
will overcome the shortcomings of prior art devices.
The system is a flourishing research area in the field of wireless communications.
This paper presents the overall framework of the necessity as a safety monitor for
Alzheimer’s patients. Alzheimer’s patient is a person having the difficulties about
memory with the concepts of place & time. Global Positioning System (GPS)
locator watches for patients are essentially RT-trackers that allow the family
members or caregivers to have a complete access to whereabouts of person 24hrs.
The GPS technology is placed inside a cavity made from a polycarbonate material
which is in the midsole of the footwear. GTX says, the normal duration of the
footwear - one to three years. The design of the system gives Energy efficiency,
robustness, and reliability. Patient is having a mobile sensor unit which includes a
GPS chip and antennas. Mobile sends latitude, longitude, and a time stamp. A GTX
tracking map gives the latitude and longitude information on a geographical
information system (GIS). The developed system can be used to track a specific
area of patients. The main advantage of the system is a multilingual system. This
means that we store the wav file in any language and play it back.
To the accomplishment of the above and related objects, this invention may be
embodied in the form illustrated in the accompanying drawings, attention being
called to the fact, however, that the drawings are illustrative only, and that changes
may be made in the specific construction illustrated and described within the scope
of the appended claims.
The idea overcomes the shortcomings of the prior art by providing a modular
locator unit that can be inserted into a preformed socket whereby a central
monitoring station can determine the location of the wearer of said footwear.
Additionally, providing for footwear having a locator unit either forming anintegral
part there with or exteriorly fastened thereto.
8|Page
Furthermore, a locator module having a housing, fastener means, positioning
determining means and transponder means for transmitting the positioning data can
be removably attached to the exterior of the footwear. In the accompanying
drawing, like reference characters designate the same or similar parts throughout
the several views.
The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense,
and the scope of the idea is best defined by the appended claims.
VISION
Our vision is to be the leading manufacturer of SMART FOOTWEAR WITH GPS
TECHNOLOGY all over India.

CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
A footwear is an item intended to protect and comfort the human foot. They are
often worn with a sock. FOOTWEARS are also used as an item of decoration
and fashion. The design of FOOTWEARS has varied enormously through time
and from culture to culture, with form originally being tied to function. Though
the human foot can adapt to varied terrains and climate conditions, it is still
vulnerable to environmental hazards such as sharp rocks and temperature
extremes, which FOOTWEARS protect against. Some FOOTWEARS are worn
as safety equipment, such as steel-toe boots which are required footwear at
industrial worksites.
Additionally, fashion has often dictated many design elements, such as whether
FOOTWEARS have very high heels or flat ones. Contemporary footwear varies
widely in style, complexity and cost. Basic sandals may consist of only a
thin sole and simple strap and be sold for a low cost. High fashion FOOTWEARS
made by famous designers may be made of expensive materials, use complex
construction and sell for large sums of money. Some FOOTWEARS are designed
for specific purposes, such as boots designed specifically
10 | P a g e
for mountaineering or skiing, while others have more generalized usage such
as sneakers which have transformed from a special purpose sport footwear into a
general use footwear.
Traditionally, FOOTWEARS have been made from leather, wood or canvas, but
are increasingly being made from rubber, plastics, and other petrochemical-
derived materials. Globally, the footwear industry is a $200 billion a year
industry. 90% of FOOTWEARS end up in land-fills, because the materials are
hard to separate, recycle or otherwise reuse.
The idea relates generally to footwear and, more specifically, to a locator unit
contained within footwear providing a method for GPS position determination
and transmission of said location determination data to a central monitoring
station which disseminates the data through the use of proprietary software and
the Internet.
The footwear in the preferred embodiment contains the electronic circuitry in the
mid sole of the footwear having GPS location determination unit and transponder
whereby a remote location can determine the position of the wearer of said
footwear having said device.
Furthermore, the idea provides for additional elements by having the GPS unit
and transponder contained within a socket positioned within the heel of the
footwear.
The location component can be selectively inserted and or removed from the
midsole or heel.
The socket in the midsole is comprised of a through having spaced apart sidewalls
and a top wall having retaining means positioned on each sidewall.
The heel socket is comprised of spaced apart sidewalls, top wall, a back wall and
frontal aperture with the location of the socket preferably in the instep or heel of
the footwear.

5. How might we solve the problem
PROBLEM IN PRESENT
You must have seen that when the GPS is on in the mobile, then your location
starts showing. If you put a post on social media through this, then your location
is visible to others in that too. Yes, you understand absolutely right. Actually, all
this has been possible only through GPS. Wherever you go, your location is
traced. Let's say you have gone for a walk in a city and got lost. If you want to
know the location of your friend, then you can know his location through GPS.

decade. About 5.4 million Americans are living with the disease that figure
predicted to rise to as many as 16 million by 2050, according to the Alzheimer's
Association. To make easier for caregivers and family members to keep track of
those suffering dementia. Chip and cellular devices like GPS tracker embedded in
the footwear that will allow parents to keep track of their offspring via an online
portal and then started offering similar FOOTWEARS aimed at long distance
runners. The technology is also beneficial in keeping track of those suffering
dementia to embed its GPS technology into comfort and wellness FOOTWEARS
for the elderly. There are already a number of wearable GPS devices such as
watches and bracelets designed to keep track of loved ones he or she will be
young and old. FOOTWEARS are a perfect fit for the technology as it's
something the person being track is unlikely to wander off without. It is more
relax or the elderly than the GPS platform FOOTWEARS we looked at a few
years ago. It will be used low power two-way GPS tracking technology. It will
continually track the location and movement times spent by of the wearer and
relays the information to a monitoring center through mobile networks. The
wearer is pinpointed by logging into a secure internet portal or via smart phone
applications. The system also allows caregivers to receive an alert message or
alarm on their smart phone or computer. There is a direct link to Google maps
plotting the wearer's location when the GPS footwear moves outside a preset area.

FINDINGS
Consumer research deals with consumer and their problems and solution
to the problem.
I came to know about the modification which consumers wants as to the
quality, packing, shape, color, and quantity, etc. of their favorite’s
chocolate.
Its ability to consume, to pay for the product, how much a person can
spend on his/her favorite chocolate. In this I have tried to find out
consumers price expectations and reactions.
I have to concluded that whether the advertisement appeals the consumers
or not.
