Hearts That Remember
by Laditanjjb98
Summary
Nunew broke up with Zee to pursue his dream of becoming an idol. His reasons were mainly
because a rising star dating someone, moreover a man, was a categorical no-no for being able
to have a career especially in a rather homophobic society. Zee understood, or at least tried to,
until months later, when Nunew confirmed he was in a relationship with a man named Jack.
Zee tried to forget all about Nunew and everything that had ever brought them together,
except that fate decided to play a trick on him.
Nunew was to become the new ambassador for his brand SUPERSUNN.
Notes
I'm back with a new ZNN fic, not the one I am currently working on and should really post it
I hope you won't mind if there's any mistake english is not my first language.
I should be working now but here I am writting fic again and again.
Sorry mom and dad :)
enjoy ❤
The words hit Zee like a punch to the chest, so sudden and out of nowhere that for a second,
he thought he hadn’t heard them right. He turned his head slowly, Nunew stood in front of
him, avoiding eye contact, fingers fiddling nervously with the hem of his (Zee’s) oversized
hoodie. His hair fell slightly over his eyes, hiding the emotions that Zee desperately wanted
to see.
Nunew exhaled sharply, as though saying the words had cost him every ounce of courage.
“We should break up, Hia. It's… it’s not going to work.”
The apartment felt too small, the walls too close. Zee could hear the distant sound of traffic
from the streets below, but it all seemed muted compared to the loud rush of blood in his ears.
"Why?" Zee asked, almost breathless, as his hands fell to his sides. He wasn’t angry. Not yet.
Just… confused. “What are you talking about, Nhu? Where’s this coming from?”
Nunew shifted on his feet, still unable to meet Zee’s eyes. “It’s…. We can’t keep doing this.
You’re about to graduate, I’m about to debut. Everything is starting to get serious. If people
find out I’m dating—dating you…” He paused, swallowing hard. “It’s just not going to be
good for me. You know how this industry works.”
Zee knew exactly how it worked. He remembered the countless warnings Nunew had
received when he first signed with the company, the expectations they drilled into him about
image, about perfection. Dating.
And especially dating a man, was a risk. A huge risk considering the society they were.
No one really knew about their relationship except Max, Zee’s best friend and Nat, Zee’s
cousin but also one of Nhu’s best friend. They manage to keep it secret for almost a year now,
in exactly one month they could celebrate their first anniversary.
Zee had thought about when Nunew will debut and he was ready to keep lower profile to
satisfy his boyfriend. He knew they would still see each other, have secretly dates and would
cuddles all night just to recharge for the hectic next day. He knew they had to be more careful
then but Zee had always thought they could handle it. They loved each other, and love was
supposed to be enough, wasn’t it?
“We could handle it you know,” Zee whispered, stepping closer to Nunew, though the
younger boy took a small step back. “What about all our dreams. We-”
“And what about MY dream ?” Nunew finally met his gaze, his eyes red-rimmed, and Zee’s
heart broke a little more “You know it always been my dream to be a singer. I have to focus
on it. If this comes out, I won’t even get that chance. No one wants an idol who’s dating, let’s
not talk about dating a man. I’m just not ready for the world to know about us, about… me
being gay. It’s not fair to you either. You’ve got your own future to think about.”
Zee stared at him, his mind racing. Has he been an obstacle for Nunew’s dream when he
thought he was supportive enough ? When they met, Nhu was a trainee. His talent, been
undeniable, the agency initially considered placing him in a group but they quickly realized
he'd shine brighter as a solo artist. The day Nhu received this news, he decided to celebrate
with Nat, and that’s when Zee first saw him. They had gone to the restaurant where Zee
worked part-time, and when Nat spotted Zee, he eagerly introduced them. Nhu’s easy charm
and cuteness instantly drew Zee in. Over the days that followed, Nhu began frequenting the
restaurant, often coinciding with Zee’s shifts. It wasn’t just coincidence; Zee knew it and he
certainly didn’t mind — in fact, he looked forward to it.
After two weeks, Zee finally gathered the nerve to ask for Nhu’s number, followed by a
casual date. That first date led to a second, then a third... and soon, they were inseparable.
Two months after they met, they officially started dating, and Zee had never felt happier. The
only problem they faced was having to keep their relationship under wraps for the sake of
Nhu’s future. Zee understood completely. He respected Nhu’s dreams and always put them
first, supporting him every step of the way.
They were truly happy. But here, in this moment, all he wanted to do was crumble. Nunew
was his everything—his anchor, his safe space. The thought of losing him, of being without
him, was suffocating.
“You want this?” Zee asked, his voice trembling with fear of the answer.
Nunew didn’t reply immediately. He bit his lip, hesitating, before finally nodding. “I’m sorry
Hia”
Zee’s heart clenched painfully in his chest. He wanted to argue, to scream that this wasn’t
fair, that they should fight for what they had. But as he looked at Nunew, he knew he
couldn’t.
“If that’s what you want…” Zee said, his voice barely above a whisper. He hated how broken
he sounded, how helpless.
For a moment, Zee saw the flicker of regret in them, but the younger boy quickly masked it,
stepping forward to wrap his arms around Zee’s waist, resting his forehead against Zee’s
chest.
___
The days that followed were a blur for Zee. He went through the motions of life—attending
his classes, finishing his final year of university, smiling when he had to. But inside, he was
hollow. The condo felt empty without Nunew. He would catch himself glancing at the couch,
expecting to see Nunew curled up there with his phone, or listening for the sound of his voice
echoing through the rooms.
Zee missed him more than he thought was possible. Every little thing reminded him of
Nunew—the songs they used to sing together- Cause all Nunew did was singing every time
he got a chance and Zee loved that, the late-night talks, the way Nunew would steal his
clothes because they were more comfortable for practice and because he loved the way they
smelled like Zee. He missed the warmth of Nunew’s presence, the way his hand fit perfectly
in Zee’s. He missed how they didn’t have to say anything to understand each other. He
missed him so fucking much.
There were moments when Zee wanted to call him, to beg him to come back. But he didn’t.
He promised himself he wouldn’t be the one to make Nunew feel guilty for choosing his
dream. Zee knew how much Nunew wanted to be a singer, how hard he had worked for this
chance. And if that meant stepping aside, Zee would do it. For Nunew.
___
Months passed, and Nunew’s debut was approaching. He quickly became a sensation over
the country. Zee watched from afar as his former lover slowly became the idol he had always
dreamed of being. Nunew was everywhere now; on TV, in magazines, performing on stages.
He looked happy, glowing even, and Zee couldn’t help but feel proud. This was the Nunew
he had always believed in. But even as Zee cheered him on from the sidelines, his heart still
ached. He had lost his love, and though he tried to move on, the empty space in his life
remained.
Zee didn’t let himself be consumed by sadness, he worked for his dream too, a dream he
should thank Nunew for
“You know, you could create your own brand, you love mode and all the stuffs” Nunew said
to him one day as they lay on the couch watching a movie. “You’ll have your own brand and
when I’ll be famous I’ll become your brand ambassador. What do you think Hia?”
SUPERSUNN, the clothing brand he had founded, was starting to take off in ways no one
had anticipated. What had once been a small startup had now caught the attention of people,
street wear-inspired designs were gaining attraction on social media. In a way, the company’s
sudden success had given Zee something to focus on, something to drown out the pain. But
even with the excitement of his professional life, there was always a part of him that felt…
broken. He wondered if now, he could possibly contact Nunew. Maybe now that he was
someone, he could approach the singer without him being afraid of media. There was no way
Nhu hadn’t hear of him, he wasn’t a star but he started to be featured in news.
But then the news broke.
Zee was in the middle of a meeting when his phone buzzed with a notification. He glanced
down at it absentmindedly, it was a message from Nat. << I think you should see this phi>>
attached with a link.
The moment his eyes landed on the headline, everything else around him seemed to fade.
Breaking News: Rising Idol Nunew Chawarin Dating Jack, the heir of NovaStyle. Agency
Confirms Relationship.
Zee’s heart sank. His stomach churned as he stared at the article, the room suddenly feeling
too hot, too small. He excused himself abruptly from the meeting, retreating to his office. He
clicked on the article, his heart beating out of rhythm as he scrolled through the details.
The article was full of praise for Nunew’s rapid rise in the entertainment industry. But the
part that stung the most was the confirmation that Nunew had been dating Jack for some time
now. Pictures of them in date, shopping, diner were shown. The agency had issued a
statement, acknowledging the relationship and asking fans for their support and
understanding.
Zee hate how he could see a genuine smile on Nunew. He was really happy. Nunew was with
someone else. Nunew had already moved on.
A bitter laugh escaped Zee’s lips as he stared out of the window, his hand gripping the edge
of his desk so tightly that his knuckles turned white. And here I am thinking how I could win
him back.
He know he shouldn’t but he went to twitter, as much as he hate this social, he needed to
know more.
He really shouldn’t
JackNovy_official
Well I guess now all of you know about my relationship. I hope you’ll continue to love us as
much as before. Love you babe @CwrNew❤
He shouldn’t read the comments nor what the fans were saying but he couldn’t help it
(Bullshit!)
Aaaa: Proud of Nunew to come out like this despite all the homophobes out there.
(Guess his love for him wasn’t enough)
Grrrr: He’s crazy, did he think about his career? Dating a man ??? Nu you’re better than
that.
Jklllj: He can love who we want, you weirdo. I hope you’re happy and that Jack treat you
well
(Yeah he hoped too even it would be better if he was happy with and not another man)
And just like that Three years passed. SUPERSUNN continued to rise, its unique designs
attracting attention not only in Thailand but internationally. Zee poured himself into the
company, his focus unwavering. The brand became his escape, his way of grieving,
forgetting, and soon, SUPERSUNN was just blowing up.
Zee’s life was full of meetings, interviews, and trips overseas for collaborations. He attended
fashion shows, rubbing shoulders with industry leaders, smiling for the cameras, and giving
speeches about the brand’s vision. He was now considered a celebrity, and had a lot of
attention towards him. And he hated it. A wealthy single 29 year-old CEO was all the
tabloids loved to say.
Nothing could erase the emptiness inside him, a void of fours years. He had everything he
had ever worked for—success, recognition, financial stability. But there was always that one
thing missing, that one person who had taken a piece of his heart and never given it back.
After Nunew confirmed his relationship, Zee stopped follow him and just decide to forget
about the singer. It was difficult at first but as time pass, he learned to not mind the news
about him, though he knew he broke up with this few months after the announcement, thanks
to Nat telling him.
Zee’s fingers glided over the trackpad, skimming through Supersunn’s latest sales reports
with quiet satisfaction. The numbers were impressive—another item had sold out in record
time. The buzz around the brand was real, and his brand was growing faster than any of them
had anticipated. He couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride. This company was his baby, and it
was thriving.
Just then, Max, his marketing director and Best friend, walked into the office with a look of
mild amusement. “You’re not going to like this,” he said, tossing a report onto Zee’s desk.
“What is it this time?” Zee asked, leaning back in his chair.
Max sat down across from him and folded his arms. “We had a bag sell out in ten minutes.
The limited-edition one from the latest collection.”
“And I wouldn’t like that ?” asked Zee confused
“Because it thanks to Nunew” answered Max as he leaned forward. “For what I understand,
some fan gifted it to New, and he wore it. The moment the picture hit social media, boom,
sold out.”
Zee froze at the mention of the name, his pulse quickening. The one name that could still
make his heart skip, even though he tried his hardest to keep it buried. He kept his face
neutral, refusing to let Max see how much that name still affected him. But from the look of
his best friend he knew he can’t lie to him.
“Nunew, huh?” Zee said, forcing his voice to stay casual. “That’s good for us, I guess.”
“It’s fucking not good at all” Nat, the brand’s creative director, barged in the office without
knocking looking furious.
“Just because you’re my cousin doesn’t mean you can enter without knocking.” Said Zee as
he tried to compose himself, by the look he knew Nat was furious about Nunew. “I hate
Mark, you should just fire him.”
Puzzled, Zee blinked few times before ask “What happened? And I can’t fire him. He’s
good”
Mark was the brand manager and he was really good with the image of the brand, he really
participated on the growth of Supersunn. Zee trusted him in almost all his decisions because
Mark knew better when it come to the brand’s image but THIS?
"Are you sure it was them who called and not you?" Nunew asked his manager for what felt
like the hundredth time as he slid into the car.
"Nunew, why are you pushing this so hard? I told you, we got an email followed by a phone
call. The agency didn't even hesitate. They know this is a huge opportunity. It's going to open
other doors for you."
Nunew still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that Zee wanted him to be an ambassador
for his brand. Sure, the bag he'd worn in public had gone viral-thanks to a fan who'd handed
it to him at the airport-but he never expected this. At most, he thought they'd send him a few
gifts like other brands. But an ambassador? That was something completely different.
Especially since Supersunn usually stuck to influencers, except for actress Jeyna, who many
assumed to be Zee's girlfriend. That's why she was the only celebrity chosen to be an
ambassador. Nunew wasn't sure about their relationship. It wasn't his business if they were
together or not, but he found it hard to believe that her nomination had anything to do with
their relationship.
"Your contract is almost as generous as the one you have with D&G," Laeng, his manager,
remarked as he flipped through the contract again. Nunew had read it himself and it wasn't
bad at all.
It wasn't the contract that made him nervous; it was the thought of seeing Zee again after all
these years. He wasn't ready - not after all that had happened between them. Zee probably
hated him by now. Nunew would hate himself, too, if he were in Zee's position. Rule number
one: don't call him Hia,' he reminded himself bitterly.
When they arrived, they were led straight into a meeting room. Nunew recognized a few
faces - Max, Nat and Mark. Mark had been the one to contact his agency. The rest of the
people, mostly part of the PR team, were strangers.
Everything went relatively smoothly, except for the daggers Nat shot at him while Max
treated him with cool indifference. It hurt, but Nunew knew why. He had broken her best
friend's heart.
After the lawyer confirmed that all the paperwork was in order, they signed the contract.
"Zee has to sign as well," Mark mentioned, "but he had an important meeting earlier. I'll see
if he's done. His presence isn't necessary today, but it might be good to introduce you two."
Nunew's heart rate increased. He was sure that Laeng, sitting right next to him, could hear it.
His manager shot him a worried look, but Nunew ignored it, pulling out his phone to distract
himself.
When the door opened again, Mark entered, followed by Zee. Their eyes met for a moment
before Zee quickly looked away and moved to the other end of the table to sit down. Nunew's
throat tightened, but he forced himself to remain calm. Except for Max and Nat, no one in the
room knew of their past. They greeted each other politely and Zee asked if everything was all
right before he signed the contract.
He was about to get up and leave - clearly wanting to be anywhere but in the same room as
Nunew - when Eva, one of the PR assistants, cleared her throat to get their attention.
"Well, as you know, you're not allowed to wear competing brands or products similar to
ours," she began, glancing at Nunew.
But Eva hesitated, as if she wasn't finished and something else was on her mind.
"Do you have anything to share, Eva?" Zee asked, turning his full attention to her.
"I apologize if this feels intrusive, but we're all aware that there is... or was... a relationship
between you and the NovaStyle heir. Their products are in direct competition with ours, so I
wanted to make sure you won't be wearing them in public during this contract period."
Nunew had forgotten Jack. He glanced at Zee, but Zee seemed to be sharing a look with Max
instead.
"Can we go now? It’s not like I want to waste all my time here." Nat interjected, clearly
irritated by Nunew's presence.
Laeng looked at Nunew, clearly uncomfortable with the exchange, but remained silent.
Nunew didn't even bother to look at him, knowing he would have to explain later.
"Well, that wraps things up," Mark said, sensing the discomfort. "We'll let you all get back to
your day. Thanks, everyone."
The team began to gather their things and headed for the door, followed by Mark, who had to
prepare for the official announcement.
Laeng was getting ready to leave as well when his phone rang. He looked at the screen, then
at Nunew. "I have to take this," he said, his expression suddenly serious. "It's about the photo
shoot with Dolce. I won't be long."
Now it was just Nunew, Zee, Max and Nat. The air was suffocating, Nunew felt the weight of
Zee's presence more than ever. He swallowed hard, forcing himself to concentrate, he
couldn't stay here with them, not with all the pain he had caused them. The silence was
terrible. How could he work with them? he should have refused, not like he had the choice,
but maybe if he had explained...
"You really should have refused," Nat was the first to break the silence.
Nunew shifted uncomfortably in his seat, not sure what to say. He wasn't here because he
wanted to be. The whole situation was already tense enough.
"I'm not here on my own," Nunew finally spoke, "I'm just... doing my job."
Nat's lips curled into a bitter smile. "Your job? Oh, I almost forgot, you'd do anything for
your career, even leave your friends."
Nunew glanced at Zee, who was still avoiding direct eye contact, his expression unreadable.
Zee's voice, when it finally came, sent a shiver down Nunew's spine. "Nunew is not the only
one who benefits from this cooperation, so please Nat, just forget the past and let concentrate
on doing our job".
Nat's eyes flared with anger, but he bit his tongue, obviously wanting to say more, but
holding back for Zee's sake.
Max stood up and motioned for Nat to do the same before saying, "Let's keep this
professional."
Zee nodded in agreement, though he still hadn't looked directly at Nunew. "Max is right. Let's
keep it professional and not mix anything."
Nunew didn't know if that was meant to comfort him or to draw a line between them. Either
way, the message was clear.
Just as he stood up, the door opened again and Laeng came in. He gave Nunew an apologetic
look. "Sorry about that. Ready to go?"
Nunew nodded, grateful for the escape, but before he could leave, Zee finally looked up and
met his eyes. For a brief second, something passed between them, but as quickly as it came, it
was gone.
"We have the professional shoot tomorrow, don't forget." Max reminded him as he and his
manager were about to leave.
Nunew gave a small nod, then turned and walked out of the room.
======
"I'm listening," was the first thing Laeng said to Nunew when they arrived at the agency.
Nunew felt a tight knot in his stomach. He knew there was no way out of this conversation.
Laeng had been his manager for two years, and unlike his previous managers, Laeng really
cared for him, he was like an older brother. He sank to the floor of the dance hall, and Laeng
mirrored his actions, sitting directly across from him.
"Nat was my best friend. He's Zee's cousin, and Max... Max is Zee's best friend," Nunew
began, his voice low. Laeng nodded and encouraged him to continue. "I guess you parted on
bad terms?" Laeng asked cautiously.
"Zee is my ex," Nunew confessed, his fingers fidgeting nervously. He couldn't bring himself
to look up, avoiding his manager's gaze.
"You should have told us earlier. We would have refused the deal if working with them made
you uncomfortable," Laeng said, concern written all over his face.
"No!" Nunew almost shouted "I-I want to work with them. I just... I hope I can make it up to
them."
Laeng gave him a questioning look and asked Nunew to explain more. He sighed and began
to tell how he'd met Zee through Nat and how quickly they'd fallen in love. But as his debut
approached, fear crept in. Nunew knew that as a rising artist, being in a relationship -
especially with a man - would be viewed unfavorably by the public, and his company had
made that clear. Although they didn't know about Zee, they suspected he was maybe seeing
someone. As the pressure increased, Nunew broke up with Zee. Nat had tried to bring him to
his senses, insisting that Zee would never stand in the way of his dreams, but Nunew
wouldn't listen. Hurt and defensive, he lashed out, accusing Nat of only taking his cousin's
side. The next day, Nat called to apologize, but Nunew, still angry, said some hurtful things.
Nat blocked him, and despite later attempts to reconcile, it was too late.
Laeng remarked, "But you had a boyfriend after that, and it wasn't long after your debut.
"Jack and I were friends from the moment I entered the industry. Sometimes we'd go out to
eat together, and when photos of us surfaced, fans speculated that we were dating. The
agency jumped at the opportunity - it drew attention to me, especially as I was preparing for
my first album after the EP."
"We really did get together," Nunew admitted, "but only because Jack insisted it could work,
since we liked spending time together. After a few months, though, I broke up. I just... didn't
like him that way. I felt guilty. Towards him, my fans and especially... Zee."
Nunew's voice cracked as he wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, Laeng handed him a
tissue. He remembered when the news of his relationship with Jack broke, he'd seen the
photos and knew Zee would be devastated. Zee would think Nunew had moved on, that he
didn't care enough to fight for their love. He would think that Nunew had fallen in love with
someone else, that Nunew didn't love him enough to be open about their relationship. And
worst of all, Zee would think that Nunew had left him because he wasn't good enough.
"I'm sorry, nong," Laeng began gently, "but it's been four years. Maybe they've moved on,
maybe they've even forgiven you - well, maybe not Nat, but Zee and Max seem okay
working with you."
"I wish Hia had acted like Nat. Instead, he completely ignored me. I know if it were up to
him, I'd never have gotten this contract."
Laeng sighed. "Look, you deserve this contract. They know you're valuable. You're not just
anybody.
If Zee really didn't want to work with you, this deal wouldn't have happened."
Laeng was probably right. Zee, as CEO, had the power to refuse him. Nunew wasn't sure if
everything would work out, but he was determined to at least try to be their friend again.
How hard could that be?
~******~
The next day, Nunew and Laeng arrived at the company for the fitting and shooting. He was
supposed to choose the clothes and products he liked and be seen wearing them for the next
few days before he was officially announced as the brand's ambassador.
The fitting went well. The stylists were attentive and took note of his preferences. Mark was
especially sweet, as was Eva, who followed behind him and snapped pictures. They were all
so kind, which only made Nunew feel guilty. Would they be so considerate if they knew what
he had put their boss through?
The shoot was another story. Nat was there, overseeing everything as creative director. He
didn't say a word to Nunew, interacting with him only when necessary and otherwise staying
behind the monitor, commenting on the photos and making suggestions. The silent treatment
hurt more than Nunew was willing to admit.
As they prepared to resume after a break, there was a small panic; the photographer wasn't
there.
"Q had an emergency," Nat explained to Mark and Max. "Andrew's busy with another shoot
and Mao's out of town."
Max acknowledged Nunew with a polite smile, which he returned. He knew Max was just
being polite, they were never particularly close.
"Is Zee here?" Mark asked Max, who nodded. "Yeah, we came together."
"He won't care, it's been a year since I've seen him behind a camera," Nat said, asking Max to
try and contact one of their photographer friends, but Mark shook his head.
Max and Nat exchanged knowing looks and Max sighed. "Well, if anyone can convince him,
it's definitely Mark."
Nunew's heart sank. He desperately wanted to see Zee, but the thought of Zee picking up a
camera again just because Mark asked him to, was unbearable. Was Mark that important to
Zee?
Apparently he was, because a few minutes later Zee walked in, followed by a beaming Mark.
"Can we make this quick? I only have an hour," Zee muttered as he grabbed the camera Max
had handed him. Nunew didn't miss the look Zee and Max shared before Zee turned his
attention to the camera.
Nunew swallowed hard. This was going to be a lot harder than he thought.

Thank you for reading ❤ hope you enjoy and see you hopefully next sunday ;)
Nunew took a deep breath and tried to calm his nerves, waiting for Zee's instructions. He was
anxious - more than he wanted to admit. Zee had always taken pictures of him when they
were together. They were spontaneous, candid, often taken at moments when Nunew least
expected them. Zee used to tease him, saying he'd give them all to him one day as a gift.
Guess that'll never happen.
Zee started taking pictures, and to Nunew's surprise, it was easier than he expected. The
instructions came out simple and direct, Nunew tried not to focus on the coldness in Zee's
voice. He wanted to believe that his ex-boyfriend still held some resentment, in a strange
way, it was more bearable to think that Zee still felt something for him, even if it was
negative.
Nunew did as he was told, mechanically following every command. The rest of the session
went like this - Nunew, playing the part, all while his heart beat a little too fast. If it weren't
for his acting classes, he might not have been able to keep up the facade.
"Done," Zee announced, handing the camera to an assistant. Mark, who had been watching
from the monitor, stepped to Zee's side, his arm slipping around Zee's waist.
Zee raised an eyebrow, "You owe me one for this, Mark. You know I don't do this anymore."
Mark chuckled and gave him a nod of acknowledgement, and the friendly interaction only
served to deepen the frown on Nunew's face. He looked away. Laeng, who had been quietly
observing the scene, approached Nunew and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, steering
him toward the dressing room.
"Nong, you need to work on hiding your emotions," Laeng said quietly as they walked. "Your
friend Nat was giving you curious looks earlier."
Nunew bit his lip and nodded. It wasn't that he didn't know how to hide his feelings, it was
just that Zee made it impossible. Even though they had broken up and he believed he had
moved on, every little interaction between Zee and someone else still affected him. He still
loved Zee. He'd never really stopped. He'd just buried it deep inside, hoping it would fade
with time.
"I'll try," Nunew muttered. He quickly changed and returned to the shooting room where the
crew was beginning to pack up. Nunew made his rounds, thanking and greeting everyone as
he and his manager headed for the exit.
As they approached the door, Eva, who he knew would be his main contact from now on,
reminded him of some important details.
"Don't forget, you need to start wearing our products more regularly," she said with a polite
smile. "We plan to announce your ambassadorship in two weeks, right at the opening of our
main boutique in Bangkok. It's a big event."
Nunew nodded, ready to leave, but froze when he saw a familiar face in the distance.
"P'Tee?" he blurted out, completely surprised. His elder brother had no reason to be here. In
fact, Nunew hadn't even told his family about his new contract. How could Tee know? Or did
Tee keep in touch with Zee?
Both their families were aware of their relationship, so of course they knew each other, but
after the breakup, Nunew had cut his ties with Zee's family, and he assumed they wouldn't be
happy to keep in touch with the person who had broken their son's heart.
Tee turned at the sound of his name and looked equally surprised to see his younger brother.
He blinked twice, as if he could not quite believe his eyes, before walking towards him.
"Nong, what are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing," Nunew replied, but before his brother could answer,
someone called out to Tee, telling him that Zee was ready to see him.
Tee glanced at the person, then turned to Nunew. "I have to go. I'll call you or maybe come
home."
Nunew watched his brother walk away, stunned. Why was Tee here, meeting with Zee of all
people?
Later that evening, Nunew found himself at the family home for dinner - a rare occasion
these days. Since moving into his condo near the center of the city, his visits home had
become few and far between. His parents understood, knowing how demanding his work had
become, but they still couldn't hide their pleasant surprise when they saw him walk through
the door on a weeknight.
After dinner, as they settled into the living room, Nunew finally asked the question that had
been on his mind since earlier. "So, are you going to tell me why you were at Zee's company
today?"
"Yeah, I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by. He's always the one who makes the
effort to visit us, so whenever I can, I visit him. I also brought him some food," he added with
a casual smile, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
Nunew stared at his family in disbelief. "You... kept in touch with him?"
"Just because you broke up with him doesn't mean we all have to. Zee is still family to us."
He paused, looking curiously at his brother. "I might as well ask you what you were doing
over there."
Nunew felt a knot form in his stomach, but he ignored the sting of his brother's words and
answered his original question. "I'm their new brand ambassador," he revealed.
Gasps of shock filled the room, and his mother's eyes widened in disbelief. "Zee agreed to
this?"
"It wasn't really up to him," Nunew clarified, "It wasn't him who called me, it was Mark.
They said it was mutually beneficial, market-wise."
His parents exchanged glances but said nothing more. They simply told him to focus on his
job and put aside any personal feelings. Nunew, still looking for more answers, continued to
press them about their continued relationship with Zee, but they remained vague. Apparently,
Zee had become something of a regular visitor, stopping by the family home frequently. No
one ever told him about Zee but he understood. Besides, Nunew's mother always had a soft
spot for him back when they were dating, treating him almost like her own son. She couldn't
cut ties with him so easily.
He tried to talk to Tee again, but his brother brushed him off, claiming he had an early shift
the next morning.

oldschoolfashion: Why did Supersunn pick Nunew when they know about his history
with Nova Style? Feels like they’re just stirring up trouble.
With the announcement of Nunew as their new brand ambassador, Supersunn also revealed
the opening of their official boutique - an event that quickly became the talk of the town. For
fans of the brand, the prospect of having direct access to products, even from past collections,
without having to wait for orders, was pure joy. Something fans had been asking for. No more
waiting for online orders or relying on pop-up stores that only appeared during collection
launches.
Opening day finally arrived, and Nunew was styled at the company's sleek. The stylist
selected a simple but stylish ensemble for him: a black Supersunn crop-top tracksuit jacket
paired with a fitted white T-shirt underneath. For the bottom, he chose a pair of slim-fitting
pants in the same color as the jacket - it perfectly accentuated Nunew's silhouette. The look
was completed with black and white sneakers, a minimalist necklace and his Chanel earrings.
After getting ready, Nunew headed straight to the boutique, where photographers and fans
eagerly awaited his arrival. He took the time to warmly greet the crowd. He posed for the
cameras, both alone and with others. He recognized Jeyna, even stopping for a photo, whom
he found absolutely adorable. He couldn't help but hope that there was nothing going on
between her and Zee. Ughhh Nu it' really not your business!
Then, of course, it was Zee's turn to pose with him, since he was the new ambassador and had
to pose with the CEO. Zee approached, looking incredibly handsome as always, in his
trademark black bomber jacket, black t-shirt underneath, black chino pants and white
sneakers.
He also wore a watch that seemed familiar to Nunew, though he couldn't quite place why.
After a few more photos, the questions began.
Nunew: "I am honored to be part of the Supersunn family. I've always admired the brand's
vision and how they promote a healthy lifestyle while keeping things stylish and accessible.
It's a privilege to be a part of something that resonates with so many people.
Interviewer: "Zee, what made you choose Nunew as an ambassador for your brand? Was
there a particular reason?"
Zee: "We were looking for someone with a strong presence, someone who really connects
with people. Nunew's authenticity, charisma and dedication to his work made him a perfect
fit for Supersunn. And of course, let's not forget the sold-out bag in just five minutes". He
laughed, and the crowd joined in.
The day continued with the grand opening ceremony in full swing. Nunew did his best to
adjust to the atmosphere, even though it felt overwhelming. The newly opened Supersunn
boutique was impressive, spanning two floors, with each corner meticulously designed to
reflect the brand's identity. During the tour, he posed for numerous photos, knowing they'd be
used later for promotional materials, and he made an effort to socialize with some of the
guests. But as much as he tried, the truth was that these types of events drained him. He loved
his job, but given the choice, he'd rather be curled up in bed than here.
He scanned the room. Max and Nat were standing near the entrance, probably overseeing the
smooth running of the event. Meanwhile, Mark was having an intense conversation with Zee
and Jeyna, laughing about something, Nunew couldn't help but feel a pang in his heart.
Laeng, his manager, stood nearby but gave Nunew his space to interact as he pleased.
He was about to retreat upstairs for a brief escape when a small, familiar voice interrupted his
thoughts. "Uncle Nhu!"
He turned and barely had time to react before a young girl threw herself into his arms with a
burst of energy that nearly knocked him over.
"Hey, sweetie! How are you?" he asked, his voice soft as he looked into the bright, happy
eyes of the little girl he hadn't seen in what seemed like an eternity. She had grown so much;
she must be about ten now. It surprised him that she remembered him after all this time.
"I missed you so much, Uncle Nhu! I watch you on TV all the time," Tara continued, her
enthusiasm making his chest hurt. This little girl, who used to follow him around the house
whenever he visited Zee's family, still remembered him. And what had he done? He hadn't
reached out, hadn't tried to keep in touch, not even once. He could have kept in touch, he
could have seen them without having to confront Zee. But he'd been selfish. He fought back
the sudden lump in his throat, the sudden overwhelming urge to cry.
"Tara, darling," came a familiar voice, "why don't you go find your mom? I need to talk to
Uncle Nhu."
Nunew stood up quickly, the sudden movement making him dizzy. His eyes darted to Zee,
who was watching him with an inscrutable expression. He used to be able to read Zee's
emotions so easily, but now... there was nothing. No anger, no affection, nothing.
"You're not going to cry, are you?" Zee's voice was softer now, almost worried, and Nunew
could barely hold back the tears that threatened to spill. How could Zee be so close and yet so
distant at the same time?
"It's just... I missed her a lot," Nunew murmured, blinking rapidly. "I never thought I'd see her
here. She's grown so much."
Zee shrugged, his gaze lingering on Nunew for a moment longer than necessary. "You could
have seen her if you wanted to..."
The implication was clear, but before Nunew could respond, Zee shifted his stance and
became businesslike again. "You'd better pull yourself together. Your friend is here."
Nunew frowned in confusion, following Zee's gaze. And there, looking like he belonged on a
runway, was Jack. Dressed from head to toe in his family's latest collection.
What the fuck ????

ZeeNunew_b4official : But why do I feel like Zee was jealous when Jack came over?
#SupersunnOpening
Hi
well this is a long chapter. I keep rewrite it and I din't know where to stop, there were at
first jealousy scenes here but I think I should let them speak(?) before writing some
drama.
There's a lot of dialogue, sorry if you don't like it much😥 but it was necessary.
Enjoy :)
“I think your niece is a fan of our ambassador!” said Mark pulling Zee from his discussion
with Jeyna, he turned to his friend and followed the direction Mark was pointing, and Zee
watched in horror as his niece threw herself into Nunew's arms. He'd completely forgotten
how much Tara adored him. Even after he and Nunew had broken up, she’d never stopped
following Nunew. She’d eagerly tune in to watch his shows, buy every new product she could
have, and of course Zee was mostly the one to pay for it. At one point, it had become almost
unbearable, not because of Tara’s admiration, but because he couldn't stand seeing all his
videos, interviews and whatever else showed the young idol happy and cheerful because it
was a constant reminder of what they’d lost.
He needed to intervene before Tara started talking and accidentally exposed his past with
Nunew. So after getting Tara to leave, he was about to leave when he saw him, Jack.
“Nunew!” he greeted and walked over to New to give him a hug. Well, that annoyed Zee
more than he cared to admit. He didn't know if Jack knew about his past relationship with
Nunew, but Zee was willing to bet no one did. He was probably the biggest mistake of the
singer's life.
“Mr. Panich, what a pleasure to meet you at last!” Jack turned to Zee and offered his hand
with a broad smile, as if he hadn’t just gatecrashed Zee’s store opening wearing a rival brand.
Zee hesitated for a fraction of a second, but then took it, reminding himself that he couldn’t
afford to make a scene. Not here.
“I’d have hoped it would be under different circumstances, but welcome, I suppose,” Zee
replied curtly. He knew he wasn’t being particularly kind, but why should he be? Jack had
decided to show up at his event and disrespect him by flaunting the competitor’s logo like a
badge of honor.
“Uhm, P’Jack, what are you doing here?” Nunew asked nervously, his voice softer than
usual. Zee glanced at him, noting the way Nunew’s shoulders had tensed, how his fingers
clutched the hem of his jacket.
“Supporting you, of course. Though I have to say, I’m a little hurt that you chose to partner
with a rival brand. But I guess there was a better offer on the table?”
Zee felt Nunew stiffen beside him, and a flash of irritation shot through him. What was Jack
insinuating? His comment was almost insulting, and Zee found himself stepping in before he
could think twice.
“Or maybe our brand is just much better,” Zee shot back, a defiant smile curving his lips. he
saw the moment Jack's smile fell and Zee was already bracing himself for a disparaging
remark, they had to remain polite, there were cameras everywhere and the slightest faux pas
could cost them all dearly. But before anyone could say anything, Nat's voice rang out behind
him, low but enough for all three to hear. “Is this an ex reunion?” he asked before bursting
out laughing at the decomposed faces of the three.
"If you'll excuse me, and Jack, don't forget to buy something before you go," Zee said curtly,
flashing a tight smile as he turned on his heel and walked away.
The rest of the event passed without incident. Jack stayed for a few minutes before leaving.
He didn't buy anything, but Zee made sure he got a shopping bag filled with Supersunn's
merchandise. He knew the headlines that would follow: Jack, heir to NovaStyle, spotted with
Supersunn shopping bag at competitor's store opening!
The next day, the Internet was filled with articles about the opening of the Supersunn
boutique. But of course it wasn't just about the clothes or the store. It was about the so-called
Zee-New-Jack drama. Zee couldn't quite fathom how he had ended up in the middle of it all.
Well, okay, maybe he could - after all, his niece had literally thrown herself into Nunew's
arms, Jack had shown up, and the photos were unflattering. Now people were speculating
about an alleged love triangle, assuming that Zee had stolen Nunew from Jack, which was
why Jack had shown up to crash the party. Nonsense. He was there way before Jack.
Two days later, Nunew and his manager sat in the Supersunn office with Zee, Max, Nat,
Mark.
"The good news is that we're still trending!" Eva exclaimed, trying to ease the tension that
hung heavily in the air.
"You know, you two did look like quite a couple," Mark muttered absentmindedly, holding up
his phone to show a photo of Zee and Nunew standing together. He caught the incredulous
stares of everyone in the room and hastily apologized, "Sorry, that was inappropriate."
Zee almost laughed. If only his friend knew. Only he and Eva seemed unaware of the full
story. Zee and Nunew had been a couple once.
"Sorry to interrupt, but this situation is becoming more complex than we anticipated," Eva
said, returning to her professional tone. As PR manager, she was focused on damage control.
"From a brand perspective, everything is fine. Sales are through the roof. But for Zee and
Nunew, the public narrative doesn't look so good."
Indeed, social media was filled with conspiracy theories. Some called Nunew a gold-digger,
claiming he was cozying up to Zee to further his career after being overshadowed following
his breakup with Jack. Others accused Zee of using Nunew for publicity. The online
harassment had reached the point where Nunew's agency had to issue a statement against
malicious comments. Now Supersunn had to handle the storm, even though they weren't
responsible for managing Nunew's public image.
"Why don't you just tell the truth?" Nat suggested, his eyes flicking between Zee and Nunew.
Zee looked over at Nunew, who seemed equally taken aback by the suggestion. Would
Nunew really want to tell the whole world about their past? Zee doubted it.
"What truth?" Nunew asked, looking nervous. Zee noticed that he looked at Mark for a
second. Strange.
"The truth that we've known each other for a long time and that you met Zee through me,"
Nat explained calmly. "Which is absolutely true. It's not like we're making anything up."
Mark and Eva's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait! Do you all know each other?" Mark asked,
confused. Zee, Nunew, Max and Nat nodded in unison.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Mark shot an accusing look at Zee. "How come nobody told
me?"
"But if you don't clear things up and more photos come out or someone decides to talk, it
could backfire," Eva said. "We should just say that you've known each other for years, and
that Nunev being our ambassador has nothing to do with his personal life. It's the truth."
"Actually, I think keeping quiet is the best option," Max chimed in. "Once the fans know the
connection, they'll start digging, and who knows what they'll find?"
"Is there anything else to find?" Mark asked, but no one answered.
"I agree with Max," Laeng added. "They don't owe anyone an explanation. The agency has
already dealt with the hatred. There's no need to bring your personal history into it."
Zee cut in. “How about we just let it go? If everyone’s fine, let’s move on. The opening went
well, we’ve got great feedback, and I’m sorry about the negative comments, Nunew.” He
finally addressed the singer directly. “But we can’t control what people say. And honestly,
revealing that we’ve known each other for years won’t change anything.”
Nunew nodded, though Zee caught a flicker of something in his eyes, disappointment,
maybe. "I agree," he said quietly.
“Well, if that’s settled,” Eva sighed. “Sorry to waste your time. Let’s get back to work.”
Just as Zee reached the door, a hand wrapped around his arm, making him freeze. A strange
sensation, almost electric, raced through him. He didn’t need to turn around to know who it
was.
“Hi—uhm, P’Zee?” Nunew stammered softly. Zee’s heart skipped a beat, He knew Nunew
was about to call him Hia. They hadn’t spoken directly since they met again. Zee turned
slowly, giving his full attention to the young singer. “Can we talk?”
He glanced around. Nunew’s manager was watching them intently, and Mark was peering at
him with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. Zee knew he’d have a million questions to answer
later.
Nunew followed Zee into his office, his heart pounding. His hands trembled slightly as he
walked, unsure how to even begin the conversation that lay ahead. Once they entered the
office, Zee led the way to a small sitting area in the center of the room. A sofa and two chairs
were arranged around a coffee table. Zee sat down on the sofa, leaving Nunew to sit in one of
the chairs across from him.
Nunew swallowed hard, then blurted out, "What should I call you?"
Zee hesitated, blinking a few times as if trying to make sense of the question. "Whatever you
like, I guess."
Zee's expression stiffened, the brief flicker of surprise fading as he replied, "Except that. I
don't think it's a good idea."
Nunew nodded, feeling a tight knot form in his throat. He understood. They weren't close
anymore, far from it, and he had no right to address Zee so familiarly, and it was painfully
clear whose fault that was.
"Is there anything else?" Zee asked, his tone more neutral now. He clearly wanted to keep
this exchange as short as possible.
"Don't apologize," Zee cut him off sharply. "Even if you hadn't known, he would have come
anyway. His father's been pressuring me for a while."
Nunew raised an eyebrow in confusion, but Zee didn't elaborate. He knew from the time he
dated Jack that his father wanted a part of Supersunn. Zee had become a force in the fashion
industry, and now Jack's father saw him as a rival. Nunew felt a surge of pride at Zee's
success, though it was mixed with regret at not being around to see it. If only things had
turned out differently. If only he hadn't left then...
"Look, Nunew," Zee continued, "I don't think we need to pretend today. Yes, we dated. It
didn't work out, and now we're both moving on with our lives. We work together, but I doubt
we'll see much of each other. Let's stick to a professional relationship and leave everything
personal out of it, you know that's for the best".
Nunew bit his lip, he hadn't even had a chance to apologize, he knew what Zee said made
sense, but it didn't stop the dull pain in his chest. Zee was right. What did he expect - that Zee
would act as if nothing had happened and welcome him back into his life as a... friend? Or
worse, as something more?
"Right, of course. Sorry," Nunew mumbled as he got up to leave, not knowing what else to
say. Zee didn't react, just gave a small nod before looking away. It was like being dismissed
by a stranger. He could feel Zee's eyes on him as he left the office.
Outside, he mumbled something to his manager about going to the bathroom and walked
away with a heavy heart. Once inside, he walked straight to a stall and locked the door behind
him, tears streaming down his cheeks. What had he thought? That Zee would embrace him
again after all these years?
Nunew had four years to reach out, four years to at least say sorry, but he'd never brought
himself to hit send on any of the messages he'd drafted, he'd chickened out every time.
After a few minutes, he forced himself to calm down. He wiped his face and left the booth,
almost jumping when he saw Nat casually leaning against the wall.
"You okay?" Nat's tone was neutral, but Nunew could see the curiosity - and something like
pity - glimmering in his eyes.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Nunew lied, his voice hollow. He stepped over to the sink and washed his
hands, avoiding Nat's gaze.
"Look, I don't know what you were hoping to do with Zee, but I hope you're not here to mess
with his life."
"I just wanted to talk to him," Nunew said defensively, looking at Nat. "I wasn't going to ask
him to get back together with me, if that's what you're worried about."
Nat grinned, a slight laugh escaping him. "Good, because I don't think you could handle the
rejection." Nunew frowned, he didn't like the meaning behind those words, does that mean
Zee has someone in his life? Maybe Mark? They seemed so close. Nunew felt his chest
tighten and an uneasiness, he hated the idea that Zee was with someone else, which was
completely absurd because he was the one who broke up first. So why was he jealous now?
"But seriously, leave him alone." Nat continued, "We've all grown up, and yes, I'm still mad
at you for everything that happened, but we have to work together now. So let's keep it
professional".
Nunew nodded and with that Nat left, leaving Nunew alone with his thoughts. He took a deep
breath, collected himself and left the bathroom.
~******~
The next few days passed quietly as Nunew threw himself into his work. He still had several
songs to record, concepts to review, and rehearsals to attend, so his schedule was packed. He
was also busy attending events for other brands and fulfilling his duties as an ambassador,
promoting the brands as much as possible.
That evening, after a long day of work, Nunew rummaged through his closet and pulled out
an old crop top, it wasn't just any shirt, it was a gift from Zee, he had sent it back when
Nunew had made his debut. It was a pink crop top, his favorite color, with the Supersunn
logo subtly lining the edges of the sleeves. At the heart level, the initials "SS-N" were
delicately stitched into the fabric. He'd often wondered if the "N" stood for Nunew.
Zee had left a simple note with the gift, and he still remembered the words: "I promised you'd
be one of the first to wear my brand, and that still holds true. Congratulations on your debut,
Nhu. This gift was planned long before we broke up, so do what you want with it.
As he prepared to go live, he paired the crop with a jacket that he zipped up the middle to
ensure the short length of the top remained covered. He chatted freely with his fans,
discussing anything and everything, even strumming a few chords on his guitar. Though he
wasn't an expert, his followers loved to see his playful attempts. "I think I have a long way to
go before I can play guitar properly. I'll stick to the piano for now," he laughed, setting the
instrument aside. But as he did so, his jacket shifted, briefly revealing the SS logo on the crop
top underneath.
"I've never seen this style before! Is it from the new collection?"
"Oh, this one? Yes, it's a Supersunn crop top, but it's not from a new collection. It's an old
one."
Among the comments, one stood out: "I've been a fan since the beginning. I know every
collection and I've never seen that crop top before.
~******~
Saturday morning, Zee found himself standing in the small meeting room that Supersunn
only used for urgent matters.
"So what's this all about?" Zee asked, glancing over his team-Mark, Max, Nat, and Eva-all of
whom looked unusually tense.
"Maybe Nunew was scammed," Mark suggested cautiously. "We've never had counterfeit
problems before, but it's not impossible."
"We never sold that model," Eva interjected firmly. "I would know."
Zee narrowed his eyes. "No, I don't.That's your job, isn't it?"
He looked around, growing more annoyed by the second. "Someone explain what's going
on."
"He screwed up again," Nat sighed, resting his head on his folded hands on the table.
Max slid his tablet over to Zee and scrolled through a few shots of the live stream. As Zee
looked at the images, understanding dawned on his face.
"Zee, is that an authentic branded shirt?" Mark asked, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, it's authentic," Zee admitted quietly. "I gave it to him a couple of years ago. It was one
of the first models we designed."
👀
confirm: THIS MODEL HAS NEVER BEEN RELEASED. Nunew, where’d you get it??
😒
unimpressed_ssfan: Who cares if the shirt is unique? All I see is him trying to get
attention. Give it a rest already, Nunew.
FanOfTheTruth: Can someone explain how Nunew got his hands on a never-released
Supersunn shirt? Even longtime fans have never seen this one before.
😂
I don't know when I'll post the next part but probably next sunday or monday. And we'll
welcome our jealous kitten
Mark had followed him into the office after their emergency meeting. They'd all agreed not to
address the issue of the shirt - there was no need to. Zee had explained that it was a gift he'd
given to Nunew, like other gifts he'd given to friends when his brand was first launched.
Some of these items weren't sold, but shared among close acquaintances. They would simply
tell Nunew to say it was a gift he'd received and that he'd always believed it to be an
authentic product from the brand. Except, of course, Mark didn't believe him. Mark had
always been quick to sense when Zee was hiding something. Besides Max, Mark was the
person Zee confided in the most about his life.
"What do you want to know?" Zee asked, sinking onto the sofa. He had intended to spend the
weekend with his family, but this sudden problem had forced him to postpone his plans. Mark
sat down next to him as Max entered with a bottle of whisky in his hand.
"I think we need a drink for what's coming !" Max stated, dropping the bottle and three
glasses onto the coffee table with a casual grin.
"I know you're hiding something, Zee," Mark continued, pouring a drink for each of them. "I
may have come into your life late, but I know you well enough to know when you're hiding
something from me."
"I know you're hiding something, Zee," Mark continued, pouring them each a drink. "I may
have come late into your life, but I know you well enough to know when you're hiding
something from me."
Zee swirled his glass, watching the liquid slosh around before taking a long sip. "Nunew is
my ex-boyfriend," he said abruptly,
Mark choked, almost spitting out the liquid. It was a good thing he wasn't looking directly at
Zee or he would have sprayed him in the face. He wiped his mouth with a handkerchief and
stared at Zee as if he'd just confessed to some unspeakable crime. "You and Nunew... dated?
Romantically?"
Zee chuckled and nodded slowly before launching into the story of how they'd met, started
dating and eventually broken up. He skimmed over the details, leaving out the more painful
parts of why they had ended things. It wasn't something he was willing to share, even with
Mark.
"Holy shit!" Mark swore, "And no one thought it necessary to tell me when I suggested
making Nunew our brand ambassador?"
"It wouldn't have made any difference, Mark. He's good for the brand and our sales have
tripled since he came on board," Max pointed out. As Marketing Director, Max was well
aware of Nunew's impact, though his eyes flicked to Zee with a hint of concern.
"But you could have at least told me! I feel like an idiot now. What about Nat? He still seems
to be looking at Nunew like he wants to punch him."
"Well, Nat and Nunew have their own story. It's not my place to speak for him," Zee
muttered. He didn't want Mark to treat Nunew differently because of their past, nor did he
want this revelation to affect the atmosphere of the brand. "Just don't let it change the way
you deal with Nunew, okay? He's doing a great job and I don't want him to feel
uncomfortable because of our story."
Mark nodded reluctantly. "All right. But seriously, Zee, I thought we were friends. I don't like
being kept in the dark like this."
Zee sighed but didn't argue. There were some things even friends didn't need to know.
~******~
Despite the incident, things settled down. The brand decided to let the shirt issue die down,
simply stating that they couldn't confirm if it was a fake or not, as some of the early items
were unique and hadn't been catalogued. Everything went back to normal. Nunew's
management handled most of his commitments, and he only visited the brand's headquarters
for fittings or promotional photo shoots.
Today Nunew had a fitting for a fashion gala. The event was organised to raise money for
young people who wanted to study fashion, and Nunew had been invited to perform. He was
in the middle of his fitting when Nat, Mark and Eva arrived. Supersunn were preparing to
launch a new line of accessories, and when they heard Nunew would be attending the gala,
they suggested incorporating some of the pieces into his outfits.
Nunew greeted them as usual, but something in Mark's demeanour made him nervous. He
smiled, but it felt forced. Nunew didn't have to guess why. He was sure that Mark now knew
about his past with Zee and probably resented him for it. Eva seemed unaffected and greeted
him warmly, while Nat looked concentrated as he examined the accessories.
There were glasses - sunglasses seemed inappropriate for a gala - and a few other options,
including rings and bracelets. But Nunew's gaze landed on a mesh necklace with a delicate
silver pendant. It was discreet yet elegant, almost resembling a luxury necklace. Noticing his
interest, Nat picked it up and handed it to the stylist, who placed it around Nunew's neck. It
was perfect.
"It's to be returned after the event," Nat reminded him curtly, causing Nunew to stifle a smile.
Some things never change.
~******~
On the night of the gala, Nunew's heart skipped a beat when he spotted Zee across the room,
standing with a group of guests. He panicked. Why hadn't anyone told him Zee would be
there? And worse - Jack was there too. He always felt guilty when Jack and Zee were in the
same place, even though he hadn't done anything wrong. He'd just dated Jack after Zee, but it
still felt complicated. The last thing he needed was drama.
He tried to focus on something else, but his eyes kept drifting back to Zee. Just then he saw
Jack approaching. They were still on good terms, but Nunew couldn't deny that he felt
awkward around his two exes in such close proximity.
"Hey," Jack greeted him warmly, but his smile faded as he looked behind Nunew. Nunew
turned to see Zee hugging someone he recognised immediately - Saint. He and Saint had
been in the same class, and Nunew had often seen them together. He'd always suspected that
Saint had feelings for Zee, and seeing them now, still close - if not more than friends -
irritated him more than he'd like to admit. "I'm starting to believe the rumours that they're
together!" Jack said dryly.
"Yes, apparently they were close at university and everyone thought they'd end up together.
But Saint had to move away and they lost touch until he came back a few years ago. Zee even
financed Saint's production company," Jack explained, looking at Zee with narrowed eyes.
"You sure know a lot," he murmured as they sat down at the round table. Jack sat on his right,
with Mabel directly opposite. Three more people were supposed to join them, but Nunew
couldn't see the names on the place cards.
"My father was obsessed with Supersunn. I couldn't avoid hearing about him even if I wanted
to." Jack shrugged. "It's shocking that you knew Zee before all this and still didn't know
about him and Saint."
"I told you, I only knew him because he was Nat's cousin," Nunew replied, more curtly than
he intended. Hearing Saint's name annoyed him. He'd once told Jack that he regretted drifting
away from his best friend. Jack had connected the dots and realised that Nat, Zee's cousin,
was the same person Nunew had mentioned before. What Jack didn't know was that Zee and
Nunew had been more than friends.
"Right, and now he's the one who stole you from me. I can't believe he beat us to it, just when
I had convinced Dad to sign you up as our ambassador." Jack's voice was teasing, but there
was a hint of bitterness.
Nunew sighed. He would have turned it down anyway. He couldn't see himself representing
Jack's brand - ironic, considering he was now the ambassador of his other ex's brand. But it
was different. Supersunn was leagues ahead of NovaStyle.
Lost in conversation, Nunew hadn't noticed the other guests arriving until someone called his
name. He turned and froze as Zee and Saint took their seats next to him. Saint smiled warmly
and greeted him before exchanging pleasantries with the others at the table. Nunew's heart
sank. Could this evening get any worse? He was now stuck between his two exes.
The evening wore on, with fashion and artwork on display, interspersed with the occasional
performance. Finally it was Nunew's turn. He went backstage to prepare, nerves tightening in
his chest. It wasn't the large audience that scared him - it was Zee's presence, so close to the
stage, and the fact that this song was inspired by him. He walked onto the stage, glanced at
their table - Jack gave him a thumbs up, Mabel smiled warmly. Zee was laughing at
something Saint had whispered, completely oblivious to Nunew's turmoil.
He took a deep breath. "Good evening, everyone. I'm Nunew Chawarin. The song I'm about
to perform is called 'Unforgettable'. It's a new track from my forthcoming album, and it's very
close to my heart. I wrote it a long time ago, right after my debut, but it didn't fit on my first
album", he was very precise about when he wrote the song, because he didn't want people to
think he wrote it for Jack. He didn't want Zee to think it was for Jack. Pathetic
Am I just somebody?
When he sang, he poured his emotions into every note, hoping that Zee would understand.
That he would realise that the song was about him, about the love they'd lost and the pain that
still lingered. When he finished, his eyes searched for Zee's in the crowd. For a split second,
their gazes locked, and Nunew swore he saw something flicker in Zee's eyes - recognition,
perhaps, or regret. But then Zee looked away and turned to Saint.
Nunew returned to the table after his performance, surprised to find dessert already waiting
for him. They were taking a break before the final part of the evening, and Jack gestured to
the plate.
"I got you dessert," Jack said casually, already concentrating on his own.
Nunew thanked him, genuinely surprised that it was chocolate, his favorite. Jack wasn't
usually one to pay attention to such details. He looked at Jack's own dessert, a coconut
flavored dish, Nunew hated coconut.
As the group at the table complimented his performance, Saint smiled at Nunew. "Your song
was beautiful, I can't wait to hear the album."
Nunew forced a smile, though his heart wasn't quite in it. "Thank you," he replied politely,
hiding the irritation he felt coming on. The rest of the table, including Zee, offered their
congratulations, and Nunew acknowledged them all with his best effort at enthusiasm.
"I bet Zee loved it." Saint teased, laughing a little too loudly for Nunew's taste. "It's just the
kind of song you get all emotional about. I bet he'll be crying when the whole song drops."
The laughter that followed only made Nunew's chest tighten. The way Saint seemed to know
Zee's preferences annoyed him, and he hated it even more because it was true. Zee laughed
along and replied, "We'll see when it comes out."
As the evening went on, Nunew couldn't help but steal glances at Zee and Saint, who seemed
lost in their own world. The more they laughed and shared inside jokes, the harder it was for
Nunew to enjoy the evening. He tried to focus on what Jack was saying, but his attention kept
drifting back to the couple next to him.
The rest of the evening dragged on, and when it was over, Nunew was relieved to leave. He
said goodbye quickly, eager to get away. Nunew changed out of his formal clothes at the
agency, wiped off his makeup, and climbed into his own car.
The events of the night were still playing in his head, especially the growing knot of jealousy.
He shook his head, angry with himself. Why do I care so much?
He pulled out of the parking lot, determined to go straight home and drown his thoughts in a
drink. But then, as fate would have it, he saw a car pull up next to him. It was Zee's. Nunew's
eyes narrowed, his grip on the steering wheel tightened. Zee's window was down, and beside
him sat Saint. Nunew's chest tightened as jealousy rushed through him.
Why does this bother me so much? He thought bitterly. I left Zee. I was the one who left. Why
am I acting like this?
Without thinking, Nunew found himself following Zee's car. He didn't know what he was
doing, but he couldn't stop himself. It was stupid, but he just wanted to know where they
were going. After a few minutes, Zee's car pulled up in front of a hotel, and Nunew's chest
tightened.
Was Zee spending the night with Saint? But instead, Saint got out of the car and waved
goodbye as he entered the hotel.
Zee drove off alone, and Nunew sighed with relief, feeling foolish. He should have gone
home, but he didn't. He followed Zee until the car stopped in front of a building that made
Nunew's heart skip a beat.
Before he could think, Nunew was out of his car and knocking on the door. He didn't know
what to say, but when Zee opened the door, the words tumbled out before he could stop them.
@SaintH0rnyyy: Not to be dramatic, but the chemistry between Zee and Saint at the
🤔
gala was too much to ignore. They haven’t seen each other in a while and it’s like
nothing has changed! Are we really sure they’re just friends?
@ZeeSaint: Okay but why did Zee look happier talking to Saint than anyone else
tonight?? And they were sitting so close like hello?? Not friends, I’m convinced💅
@Sregg55: Saint also know Nunew, sorry but there’s so much connection between Zee
and Nunew, you couldn’t tell me ths two don’t know eo
😢
@NuSta8: You can literally feel the heartbreak in Nunew’s voice. ‘Unforgettable’ is so
raw and powerful. It’s like he's singing directly to someone
behind this?
Who’s the inspiration
@unimpressed_ssfan: Most like who Nunew broke the heart? He seemed regretful
👀
@Jack_Loveer: Wait, wasn’t Jack also at the table when Nunew sang ‘Unforgettable’?
Was that song about him ?
@DramaGggg: He said he wrote it years ago, he didn’t even meet Jack yet…. Bfrrr
StyleeY_Grll :
Oh my God 😮 you'll never believe what I just saw, I'm at the gala sitting at the table right
across from Nunew's, Nunew was still in the backstage when dessert was served, naturally
🙄
Jack took two desserts for himself and Nunew- It was coconut flavor- I mean even the fans
know Nunew doesn't like coconut, he never eats it.
And then, hang on, Zee subtly swapped his dessert with Nunew's, OMG like man ? how?
Wth
😭😭
@ZeePruuk: I’m screaming! Jack didn’t even realize??? Zee out here acting like a
boyfriend while Jack’s just clueless
@NuNuStan: Jack forgetting Nunew doesn’t eat coconut is such a red flag 🚩
dessert choices 😂
@Zunshine00: This could be the start of so many fanfics, omg. Zee protecting Nunew’s
fics writers heal my heart and write sm #zeenunew ffcs
🤦
@JckNew: People always forget things, even close friends or partners. Zee swapping
desserts isn’t some grand gesture, calm down ♀️
@NovaSquad: I mean, fans know Nunew doesn’t like coconut, so obviously Zee would
know too. No need to make it this huge thing, Jack didn’t mean anything by forgetting
@Tyte4ever: The fact that Jack didn’t remember about the coconut thing is wild. Zee
caught it, but what if Nunew had eaten it by accident?
Hope you enjoy this early update, have so much to do and no time so I hope you like the
chap. it kinda feel rushed.
And now I have dilemma.
😓
in both ways there's angst but make them do a mistake (maybe a kiss) and continue the
angst or make all the Zee Saint a mystery and let Nu suffer more
Enjoy :)
Zee couldn't wait for this evening to be over. He hated all these things, but they were a
necessary part of his job. If it were up to him, he'd avoid them altogether. But that wasn't the
only reason for his discomfort, no, it was Nunew's presence. Every time they were in the
same room, Zee felt torn between wanting to be far away and wanting to be close. It was a
constant battle between his heart and his mind.
Having Saint there helped, he could bear Nunew's presence. But that hardly helped when
Jack was right there, adding salt to Zee's wounds. Zee had never understood how Nunew
could be with a man like Jack. Like, that man could only think of himself.
Zee didn't even like coconut, but when he saw that Jack, clueless as always, had grabbed two
plates of coconut dessert for himself and Nunew, he rolled his eyes. Even the fans know that
Nunew hates coconut. Without thinking, Zee swapped his dessert with Nunew's, making sure
his ex-boyfriend didn't miss out on the sweets he loved.
As soon as the gala ended, Zee dropped Saint off at his hotel and headed to his old apartment.
He had no energy left to drive back home, so he drove to his old apartment. It was where he'd
come to escape when the weight of the world became too much. He hadn't sold it for a
reason, though sometimes he wished he could have walked away from the memories trapped
inside.
He'd just stepped into the shower when the doorbell rang. Zee sighed and pulled on his
bathrobe before heading to the door. The last thing he expected was to find Nunew standing
outside.
Zee blinked, stunned by the question. "What are you doing here, Nunew?" he demanded,
pushing Nunew inside and slamming the door. Had he forgotten that he was a celebrity and
that everyone could recognize him? he wasn't even wear any disguise.
"I asked if you were dating Saint," Nunew repeated, avoiding his gaze.
Zee rolled his eyes, finding the situation almost absurd. "You came all this way to ask me
about my love life? Which is none of your business, by the way."
Nunew hesitated, eyes darting around nervously. "I just wanted to know... I'm sorry, Hia."
That single word froze Zee. He hadn't heard that in years, and the sound of it sent a shiver
through him. But Nunew didn't seem to notice. He said it so casually, as if nothing had
changed between them. He clenched his jaw, Nunew had no right to stir up those old feelings.
Not after everything.
"I don't understand you, Nunew," Zee began, "If I didn't know better, I'd say you are jealous.
But that's impossible, isn't it? So tell me, what do you really want?"
"I... why did you keep this apartment?" Nunew asked, completely derailing the conversation.
Zee sighed in frustration, he just wanted to shower and sleep. So what the hell was he doing
here and how would he know Zee would be there? it didn't make any sense, Didi Nunew
followed him ?
As he turned to him to ask if he followed him, he noticed Nunew's gaze fall to his chest,
where the loosened robe revealed more skin than Zee had intended. Their eyes met again, and
for a brief moment, the years of distance melted away.
The desire in Nunew's eyes was unmistakable. Zee's heartbeat quickened, he could feel
Nunew's eyes devouring him, and for a split second a part of him wanted to pull Nunew close
to him, to forget all the pain and just... just what, Zee?
Zee stepped forward and placed his hands on Nunew's shoulders, avoiding his eyes. He
gently turned him around and headed for the door.
"It's late, I don't know what you're doing here," Zee said quietly, "but it's time for you to go."
"Wait, Hia," Nunew grabbed Zee's robe, his fists clenched in desperation.
Zee's heart skipped a beat. He stared down at Nunew, trying to understand why he was
thinking, why he was acting like that.
"I told you not to call me that," Zee whispered, looking away, "you'll end up doing it in
public."
Nunew stepped closer, so close that Zee could feel his breath on his lips, their faces only
inches apart. It would be so easy, just one move and their lips would meet. He could taste
Nunew again, feel him again...
Nunew didn't move. He looked as if he wanted to say more, but Zee pushed him towards the
door. He closed the door and leaned against it with a heavy sigh. His heart pounded in his
chest and he cursed himself for the way his body reacted to Nunew, even after all the years.
******
Nunew was furious - no, devastated. Zee was obviously with Saint, or he would have denied
it. Zee wasn't one to lie. He hated it, so when he was confronted with it, he'd rather avoid the
question altogether than lie outright. So if he didn't deny it, which meant it was true. Zee and
Saint were together.
For the next few days, Nunew worked like a robot. His song was about to drop, and there was
so much to do, enough to distract him from thinking about Zee and Saint, especially with the
internet buzzing about them. The photos, the rumors - it was overwhelming. If Nunew
couldn't stop himself from keeping up, no one else needed to know.
Soon Unforgettable was out, and the response was incredible. It was a song Nunew had
written all by himself, which made the praise all the more special. It was surreal, this was a
song he had poured his heart into, a song he had written all by himself. The joy of the
moment was indescribable, a contrast to the mess in his heart.
He was rehearsing at the agency for what felt like the thousandth time. Tomorrow he would
perform on the T-Pop stage, followed by an interview with Woody. Woody was famous for
his unfiltered, spontaneous questions. Nunew wasn't afraid of performing live, but the
interview? That was another story.
"Why do you look so tense? This isn't your first performance," James teased as he walked
into the rehearsal room and sat down with his back to the mirror.
James had once been part of the group Nunew was supposed to debut with, along with Yim
and Tutor. But in the end, Nunew went solo while James, Yim and Tutor formed a group.
"The performance or the interview?" James asked, reading him perfectly as usual. They'd
spent countless hours training together, and since Yim and Tutor were off doing their own
things, it was often just the two of them.
Nunew sighed, "The interview. I'm afraid I'll say something stupid."
James chuckled. "You'll be fine. And even if something slips, they can always cut it off."
"Not this time," Nunew groaned. "It's live. Woody's going for full authenticity."
James whistled low. "Just don't say Zee's name. Or that other idiot's."
Nunew rolled his eyes. James had never liked Jack. He was convinced that Jack had ulterior
motives, Jack wasn't perfect, but he wasn't a bad person.
"I still don't understand why you hate him so much," Nunew said annoyed.
James looked scandalized. "Well, he didn't even remember that you hate coconut! He's stupid.
I should thank Zee."
Nunew shook his head with a small smile. He'd seen the tweets that night - Zee swapping his
dessert with Nunew's. A part of him wanted to run to Zee and ask him if he still cared. But he
pushed the thought aside. Zee was kind and thoughtful; of course he would have done that for
anyone.
"You'll be fine, Nong. You'll be great tomorrow," James reassured him and offered him a ride
home afterwards, which Nunew accepted since he hadn't brought his car.
The next day, the T-Pop stage recording went perfectly. Soon after, his manager texted him to
let him know they'd be airing it after his interview with Woody that evening. Nunew barely
had time to catch his breath before he was off to the interview. While waiting to be picked up,
he received a series of texts from an unknown number.
I'll try my best. How about dinner afterwards? If you agree, maybe I'll behave.
Nunew took a selfie and posted it on Twitter to remind fans of the interview. Before closing
the app, he scrolled through his feed and saw a picture of Zee and Saint, arms full of
shopping bags, entering Saint's hotel. His chest tightened. How could he still feel this way,
knowing he was the one who cut Zee off? He thought the pain would fade with time, but it
didn't. He was jealous. Even more so since it seemed that Saint didn't know about Nunew and
Zee's past. Even if they weren't together anymore, Zee wasn't indifferent to him either. He'd
seen the way Zee had looked at him in his apartment a few days ago. The thought simmered
in his mind, igniting something reckless. Nunew had promised Nat that he wouldn't do
anything stupid. But as long as no names were mentioned, how bad could it be?
The interview began smoothly. Woody, as always, made it feel more like a casual chat than a
formal interview. They talked about the upcoming album, his writing process and how it feels
to perform. But then came the inevitable question.
Nunew smiled, "Well, the title speaks for itself. It's about a love that stays with you no matter
how much time passes. And that despite everything, you just want that person to be happy."
Woody's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Is this inspired by your own experiences?"
Nunew hesitated, then laughed nervously. "Yes. I mean, everyone's been talking about it since
the gala. So yes, it's about me. And no, it's not about my last relationship. I wrote it about my
first breakup."
Woody read something and laughed. "The fans are going crazy. Everybody wants to know
more." Then he leaned forward, his gaze softening, "The person it's about is still important to
you?" he asked.
Nunew's smile faltered for a moment. "Yes, in a way. I hurt him a lot when I decided to focus
on my career. But at the time, it felt like the right thing to do. Now I just hope he's happy."
And he really did want Zee to be happy now.
Woody, sensing the emotion in the air, asked softly, "If you could say one thing to him, what
would it be?"
Nunew's throat tightened, tears welling up despite his best efforts to keep them at bay, he
really hoped Zee would see this. "I'd say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for breaking his heart, and I
hope he doesn't hate me so much now. I'd also like to thank him, because I wouldn't be where
I am now without him."
Woody handed him a tissue as tears streamed down Nunew's cheeks. "I'm sure he'd be proud
of you."
The rest of the interview flowed easily, with Woody moving on to lighter topics, but by the
end Nunew was emotionally drained. He ignored his phone, not ready to face the reactions
yet. Instead, he went home, ordered dinner, and waited for Nat.
When Nat arrived, he gave Nunew a knowing look. "You promised not to do anything crazy."
Nunew shrugged. "I didn't say anything I shouldn't have."
Nat sighed and shook his head. "You should have told him all this in person, not in an
interview."
"I know... but he doesn't want to see me. And certainly not now that..."
Not now that he was seeing someone else, but he couldn't say that to Nat, so he dodged the
question. "Never mind. Let's eat."
They sat down on the couch, the T-Pop Stage performances playing in the background.
"Jelly... I'm sorry. I..." Nunew started, but Nat cut him off, "Stop Nunew, I don't want
excuses."
"But..."
"I was hurt Nunew, I didn't understand why you assumed I would automatically take Phi's
side and not consider you. You were my best friend Nu, we understood each other perfectly
and you just decided to throw it all away."
The tears flowed on their own and New realized that he wasn't the only one crying, Nat was
crying too. He threw himself into his arms and began to apologize without stopping.
"I was so afraid that you would cut me out of your life, I stupidly went ahead, but not a day
goes by that I don't regret leaving you. I tried to contact you several times, but I just couldn't.
That's no excuse, I'm sorry Jelly."
"Don't worry, I'll forgive you eventually. Maybe after a few more birthday presents," Nat
laughed when he saw Nunew's stunned face.
Nunew sent Nat a present every birthday. He was sure he wouldn't know who it was from.
Guess not.
"No one but you, Zee and Max knows about my love for the color orange. You always send
me a present that has orange in it. Watch, T-shirt, sneakers? No one gives you orange
sneakers."
"Okay, maybe I should have been more discreet. Next time I'll send pink."
They laughed, and just like that, the atmosphere was lighter. Nunew didn't know if they
would ever be best friends again, but he was happy with the little progress he had made. He
was really grateful that Nat had reached out to him, he wanted to ask him why, but that would
be for another day. He'd do anything to get back to the way they were.
💔

Some of you may find the Nat-Nunew 'reconciliation' too easy, but sometimes friendship
doesn't require anything extra. That's literally how I got back in touch with my friend
Like "Hey what's up? Let's eat together?" after two years without speaking to each other.
So yes, they've got a long way to go, but hey, Jelly Gang is back!
After his breakup with Nunew, Zee had vowed to respect his ex-boyfriend's choices and
decided to support the artist from afar. He had no doubts about the young's success; Nunew
was talented and he knew he would go far. He secretly hoped that one day their paths would
cross again, and maybe, just maybe, they'd find a way back together. For Zee, loving again
had always seemed unthinkable. So when he'd seen the articles about Nunew and Jack's
relationship, he'd been reserved at first, maybe it was just marketing, he told himself, but as
more photos and videos of them flooded social media, Zee felt a deep pain.
The videos, the photos of them were everywhere when it came to Nunew, so much that Zee
decided to block anything related to Nunew from his feeds. He listened to his songs, he
couldn't help it, but anything new that came close to the artist he avoided. That's why he
couldn't understand what Max was saying to him right now.
"Slow down please, I don't understand Max," Zee replied to Max. They were in the office
preparing the launch of the summer collection, they were in the meeting room waiting for
others to join them.
"Didn't you see the Nunew interview?" Max asked dazedly, and after Zee shook his head,
Max took out his tablet and handed it to him after a few clicks, but Zee didn't have time to
look before the door opened to Nat and... Nunew?
Zee raised a questioning eyebrow at Max, who shrugged before leaning over and saying, "Ah
yes, they seem to have reconciled."
Zee looked at them again and smiled, it always hurt him that they had drifted apart and he
couldn't help but feel a little guilty. It wasn't his fault, but he couldn't help it. The two friends
- again - sat side by side and Zee concentrated on his laptop. Soon the others arrived,
including Mark and Eva.
Nunew excused himself to wait outside, since he obviously didn't have to be there, and Zee
wondered why he was there at all.
The meeting was going pretty well, if you ask Zee, but something was strange, his employees
were glaring at each other, as if they all wanted to ask something, but were too afraid. And
seriously, it was starting to get on Zee's nerves. Finally, the meeting ended and the room
began to empty. When Nunew returned to the room, only he, Max and Nat were left.
"Well done Jelly, now everyone thinks I'm your ex," Nat huffed and rolled his eyes at Nunew,
who just grinned.
Zee was confused and he didn't really know what to say, he didn't want to go on with
whatever their discussion was, he felt like he was doing too much anyway. He typed a few
notes on his laptop, then closed it and was about to stand up when Max's voice stopped him.
"So, you really kissed?" asked Max, his eyes darting between Nat and Nunew.
Zee stopped in his tracks and looked at Max questioningly, but Max wasn't even looking at
him.
Nat sighed, "Babe, it was just a one-time thing. Don't make a big deal out of it." But his
friend didn't seem to be convinced.
Nat had had a crush on Max for as long as Zee could remember, and Max knew it, so of
course he could see that his friend was annoyed at the mere thought of Nat kissing someone
else.
"You never told him?" Nunew nudged Nat. "Don't worry, Phi, it was nothing," Nu reassured
him.
Nat turned to him, then pointed at Zee, "Are you telling me you told him?"
Nunew gave a slight nod and Max's eyes widened as he turned to Zee. "What the hell, Zee!
Why didn't you tell me?" but Zee didn't answer, just shrugged. Nunew had mentioned it
before they'd even started dating, and while it had made him feel a twinge of jealousy, he'd
mostly found it funny.
Zee got up to leave, but before he turned his wrist from the door, he turned and gave Max an
amused look, "It's not like you told him about us!"
He had just enough time to hear a collective "What?" before closing the door.
He walked into his office, and for the first time in about two years, Zee picked up his phone
to type Nunew's name into the search bar.
******
Nunew had no desire to come to Supersunn today, but Nat had insisted that it was time to talk
to Zee and the only way to do that was to come to the office. So yes, that was why he was
here and frankly he was panicking to death. Just the way Zee ignored him was enough to
make his nerves run high.
In the hallway, Nunew glanced at Max and Nat, who were still bantering. "So nothing
happened between you and Zee?" Nat asked Max, narrowing his eyes skeptically.
Nunew, tired of the playful back and forth, finally asked for directions to Zee's office. After a
quick pointer from Nat, he made his way down the hall, taking a deep breath before
knocking.
"Come in!" came Zee's voice from the other side and Nunew let himself into the room, Zee
was sitting at his laptop, brows knitted, jaw clenched, he looked angry and don't ask him why,
but Nunew had the impression it was directed at him.
"What's that?"
"Why were you talking about me?" asked Zee, giving Nunew a disapproving look.
"I didn't say your name, I was just talking about the inspiration for my song," Nunew said.
Nunew had seen the picture and the rumors surrounding it. Fans speculated, some even
asking for the picture to be taken down and for his privacy to be respected, while others
wondered if it was a marketing ploy. As for Nunew, he was concerned, the photo had been
taken when he was just an intern, and it had obviously been taken by someone who knew
them, so he wondered if there were other photos in that person's possession, because there
was no way this person could have just this photo of them.
He was worried about it, but his agency had decided to ride the publicity wave, only slightly
concerned about finding out who leaked it.
"Well, you're not even in the picture, Hia, so..." Nunew trailed off with a nervous shrug.
Zee rose from his chair and approached Nunew, clearly frustrated, "What do you want,
Nunew? Don't you think we were better off the way we were?"
"No."
"I'm sorry Hia," he interrupted, "I know I hurt you and I'm truly sorry."
"Stop it," Zee's voice rose, "I don't want your apology. I saw part of your interview and I
really shouldn't have. I don't hate you, Nunew. I don't have it in me to hate you and I'm proud
that you were able to achieve your dreams, frankly. But you made this choice. You decided
that I didn't belong by your side when you achieved your dream. It was your dream and I was
never a part of it. So please keep your bullshit to yourself. Just because you go on TV and
talk about how sorry you are doesn't mean you're sincere, Nunew."
Nunew shook his head vigorously, his eyes filled with tears. "I meant everything I said, Hia.
I'm really, really sorry."
"Then why the hell didn't you ever tell me? Not once have you apologized. Tell me, if the
brand hadn't approached you, if we hadn't seen each other again, would you have sought me
out? no. You had three years to do it, but not once did you try. You only regret it because I'm
here now."
What right had Zee to speak for him? He hadn't been there during the lonely days, the tears,
the regrets, the suffering, everything he had had to endure in silence, he hadn't been there, so
he had no right to judge him blindly.
"Whose fault is that?" asked Zee, forcing Nu to look up at him, and then he realized that he
had spoken out loud and it wasn't just in his head. "You broke up with me over some lame
excuse and not long after your debut you were dating. Do you know how hurt I was? Do you
know what I thought? That you just didn't want me. Because what was the difference
between him and me, Nu? because he was famous, rich-"
Nunew couldn't stand it. He closed the distance, threw his arms around Zee, let his head fall
to his chest, tears flowing freely. He didn't want Zee to think of him like that, Zee was an
incredible man and the only man Nunew had ever loved. Who he was, his money or his
popularity had nothing to do with that.
"You know I've never been impressed by those things Hia," he murmured, "I'm really sorry
for all the pain I caused you, I have no excuse, I messed up. I wasn't thinking, I... I don't even
know what to say to apologize." And it was true, no apology could fix his mistake, he'd
broken up with Zee for the simple reason that he was afraid of people's reaction to his
relationship. He was convinced that with the pressure of his agency and what he saw of the
industry, he wouldn't be able to hide his relationship. Perhaps his only valid excuse would be
that he was young and new and it was all too much for him.
"With Jack, it's not what you think at first..." Nunew started, but Zee stopped him and pulled
Nunew's arms away from him. "I don't want to know, I was serious when I said I wanted us to
forget the past and keep our relationship strictly professional."
"Really?" Nunew asked, stepping forward, causing Zee to step back. "How do you expect us
to do that? and what exactly does that mean? that we're going to act like an employee and his
boss? like friends? or just strangers?" the more he spoke, the closer he got to Zee, and Zee
backed away until Zee found himself pressed against the table.
It was then that Nunew realized how close he was to Zee. When he realized their situation,
the air immediately shifted. He looked up at the elder and their eyes met, neither moving.
Nunew steps closer, close enough to feel Zee's breath on his skin. He lifted his hand and
placed it on Zee's chest, his heart was beating so fast. Does Nunew still have an effect on
him? Their eyes meet again and all his doubts disappear, Zee still had that desire for him, he
could see it in his eyes. Nunew closes the distance and pressed his lips to Zee's in a kiss that
was both desperate and tender, hoping that the latter might get a hint of his longing.
Zee's breath hitched, and after a second of stunned stillness, he responded with a fervor that
matched Nunew's, his hands moving to grip Nunew's waist, pulling him in until there was no
space between them.
The kiss was hungry, raw, he made sure to pour all of his remorse and longing into every
touch, as if he could erase the pain between them. He knew it wouldn't be enough, one kiss
wouldn't change all the past years, but he missed him so much, he missed his touch, the way
he kissed him, it was the same. Zee always kissed him as if he could disappear at any
moment. He tilted his head, deepening the kiss, his hands slipping to Zee's neck, pulling him
closer.
Nunew bit Zee's lower lip, earning a moan from the older, he slid his tongue into his mouth
and for a moment he feared Zee would stop when he pulled away slightly, but then he found
himself pressed against the table, Zee changing their positions.
He cupped Nunew's cheek with one hand, the other gripping his waist tightly. He slid his
tongue into his mouth, meeting Nunew's, and as their tongues intertwined, dancing together
mercilessly, Nunew began to hear the moans that filled the room, he was so lost in their kiss
that he didn't pay attention to anything around him, it was as if he was in a bubble.
A ringing phone sounded in the distance and Zee pulled away from Nunew with a frustrated
groan. He ran a hand through his hair, clearly shaken, as he put distance between them.
Avoiding Nunew's gaze, he leaned over the table to grab his phone. Nunew had time to see
who was calling, Saint.
"Fuck," Zee muttered, clenching his jaw as he tried to steady his breathing, Nunew saw the
flicker of regret in Zee's eyes before he answered the call, and his heart sank. Zee was
obviously sorry, he'd let himself go in a moment of weakness. It was obvious that he regretted
the kiss, and Nunew felt even worse because he had the feeling that he was to blame.
"Are you there already?" Nunew heard Zee ask, "Oh... okay... yeah, yeah... just a minute, I'm
coming. Wait for me in the parking lot." He hung up and turned back to Nunew, who was
standing frozen in the same place.
"I have to go... Let's just forget what happened," Zee murmured.
******
Zee made his way down to the parking lot, Saint waiting beside Zee's car, throwing his keys
as he approached. Saint barely caught them, furrowing his brow as he studied his friend's
disheveled expression.
"You drive," Zee said, rubbing his temples. "I don't have the strength."
Saint let out a hum as he gave Zee a once-over. "Did you... pour water on yourself?"
Zee looked down and noticed the tear stains on his shirt.
"Well, I see what people see in you after all," Saint teased with a chuckle. "Too bad I'm
already engaged."

Just to correct a few things because I realized that it was probably not very clear.
Nunew was 19 and Zee 24 when they started dating. they dated for a year. Nu dated Jack
in his first year of debut.
And the reunion was three years after ZNN broke up.
Zee stepped out of the elevator with only one thing on his mind: a quick shower, then diving
into work. He already had plenty of ideas in mind for the next collection. And he had Saint
and Lu, Saint’s fiance to thank for these new ideas.
But his steps slowed when he spotted a familiar figure crouched in front of his door. The
person's head was buried between his knees, yet Zee knew immediately who it was.
Nunew’s head shot up, his eyes red-rimmed and tousled hair peeking from behind a mask.
Even covered, Zee could tell he was pouting. “Hia,” he whispered, and tears began to fall.
Zee’s heart clenched; he hated to see Nunew cry. It was one of his greatest weaknesses. He
unlocked the door and ushered the idol inside.
“Can I ask why you’re here?” he asked as he closed the door behind them “I told you it’s
risky for you to show up like this. Anyone could recognize you.”
“I’m sorry, Hia.” Nunew’s voice trembled, his words tumbling out between sobs. “I didn’t
mean for it to go this far. I was just so upset when you left, and I posted a story without
thinking. Now there are all these pictures, and I—” He choked, struggling to continue.
Zee just raised a questioning eyebrow, shaking his head, he pulled out his phone and handed
it to Zee after a few quick taps. Zee scrolled to the feed, there was another photo of them, Zee
remembered this photo, they were at Nunew’s and it was his brother who had taken the photo
on Nu’s phone. A quick glance and Zee understood. Nunew’s story, the comments that kept
calling the artist names and accusing him of using his ex story to promote his album. Most of
them didn’t even believe it, saying that the photos were chosen so as never to show the
supposed ex’s face, and that it was pure marketing. Zee’s heart sank at the sight of it all; how
could Nunew bear to read all those horrible comments?
“I don’t know where they get these pictures from? I swear it’s not me.” Nunew defended
himself and Zee simply nodded. He knew it wasn’t the other’s work, he’d be unable to go
that far.
“That still doesn’t explain why you’re here,” Zee said, a little colder than he intended.
Nunew flinched. “I wanted to explain. I tried messaging you, but I think you blocked me.”
His voice was laced with hurt. “I even got your number from Nat, but you didn’t pick
up.”
Zee pulled out his phone and saw the missed calls. “Sorry, it was on silent.”
Nunew nodded, falling silent as he looked around Zee’s apartment. Zee sighed,
“You know I don’t live here full-time. What if I hadn’t come by? Were you just going to
wait?”
“Listen, don’t do this. Don’t show up unannounced like this. And it’s late. You should be
home.”
“No.”
“I wanted to apologize for earlier, I’m sorry. I don’t want to intrude on your relationship and
I…”
Nunew swallowed, looking away. “You and Saint… I saw you together at the parking lot, and
I thought…”
“You thought we were a couple?” Zee raised an eyebrow, watching the flicker of hurt in
Nunew’s eyes.
Zee didn’t answer and just nodded. Okay that was all well and good, but he didn’t want to
spend any more time in Nunew’s presence, it was suffocating.
Zee ran a hand through his hair a little annoyed “it’s 10pm Nhu, whatever you mean it can
wait”
Nunew’s eyes widened at the nickname. His pupils trembled slightly as he whispered,
“You… called me Nhu.” Zee froze, he hadn’t even realized, he’d been so careful not to let the
nickname slip in his discussions.
“I’ll just call a cab, I won’t bother you for long.” Nunew hastened to add. But before he left
he retrieved something from his pocket which he handed to Zee, it was a usb.
“These are the songs from my album. There’s more than one song about you, I’m sure you’ll
recognize them. The last song isn’t on my album, but I hope that after listening to it you’ll
give me a call.”
And without waiting for an answer, he left the apartment, leaving Zee completely bewildered.
~******~
Two weeks had passed since Nunew had handed Zee the usb and still no news. Not a single
message or call. Nunew wondered if Zee had even listened to his songs or if he’d simply
decided to ignore him altogether. He couldn’t blame him if he had. After all, it was all his
fault.
Nat had let slip that Zee had stopped following him as soon as he’d started dating Jack. It
stung, but Nunew understood. If the roles had been reversed, he’d probably have acted the
same way. He’d even understood Zee blocking him, it was deserved. But his his songs hadn’t
done anything wrong.
His album was coming out in two days and he was extremely nervous, already seeing the
reviews that would follow. He prayed to the universe that his favorite anti-fan wouldn’t have
any more photos of him and Zee to publish.
He was currently having lunch with his manager at a restaurant not far from the agency.
Laeng was already giving him his speech about what he was allowed to say or do, the
promos. He listened with one ear only, too busy with his own thoughts.
“Nunew son, is that you?” came a voice behind him and Nunew turned to meet Zee’s mother.
Her smile widened when she recognized the singer and Nunew mirrored her smile, rising to
take the woman in his arms
“You’ve forgotten me young man” she said half serious half joking.
When she took her seat, Laeng introduced himself then excused himself to make a call,
Nunew was sure it was just to give them more privacy.
“It’s okay son, it happens. I know it’s complicated. But we miss you , especially Tara. Ever
since she saw you again, you’re all she talks about.”
The discussion continued, and Nunew was delighted to find that Zee’s mother didn’t resent
him for the pain he’d caused her son. He couldn’t say the same about Zee’s sister, though.
The way she’d glared at him that night, he was certain she would have slapped him if not for
the cameras.
Eventually, Mae sighed and said, “I should get going. I need to pick up Tara from Zee’s.
She’s coming to Chiang rai for a few days.”
Nunew shook his head “Nonsense. Let me drop you off mae, it’ll give us more time to catch
up.”
Outside Zee’s house, Nunew parked at the gate, unable to see the place itself but knowing,
from the neighborhood alone, that it was stunning. He turned off the engine and faced Zee’s
mother.
“It was so good seeing you again, Mae. Let me know whenever you’re in town.”
“Aren’t you coming in?” she asked, removing her seatbelt. “I’m sure Tara would be happy to
see you.”
Nunew hesitated, glancing at the house, then back at her. “I…I don’t think that’s a good
idea.”
“Oh,” she said, surely realizing what he meant, “do you still love him?”
“It won’t make any difference. Goodbye mae and tell Tara I said hi.”
She nodded but hesitated before stepping out of the car. She turned to him with a gentle smile
and asked, “What have you got to lose by trying?”
This question remained in his mind the entire drive back. . Should he really try? Could he?
He hadn’t even managed to earn Zee’s forgiveness, so how could he ever hope to get him
back?
The album was a hit—at least that’s what the management said. Sales and streams were
through the roof, and everyone was thrilled. Well, everyone except Nunew. Sure, he was
ecstatic people enjoyed his music, but there was one person he desperately wanted to hear
from, and Zee still hadn’t called.
Nunew’s days were packed with promotions, interviews, performances, and live shows. On
twitter, fans were theorizing about the songs, trying to read between each line of lyrics. It was
fun, especially as some of them were quite correct.
It was Saturday, the only free day he had after an intense week, when he received the
message ‘Let’s talk, I’ll wait for you at the apartment’.
It was Zee.
Nunew barely wasted a second. To hell with his day off—he could rest tomorrow. He dressed
quickly and headed over. An hour later, he found himself at Zee’s door, hesitating before
knocking. Zee opened the door almost instantly.
“Hey!” he greeted.
“Come on in” Zee walked over to the kitchen and started boiling water.
Nunew thought for a moment, wondering if he should go for coffee or something lighter.
“Tea, please.”
He hummed, taking out two cups “Ginger?” he asked without turning around and Nunew felt
his heart skip. Did Zee still remember his obsession with ginger tea? He felt his eyes water
just at the thought of Zee still remembering his little preferences.
Zee set a cup of ginger tea before him and coffee for himself, along with a small plate of
macarons. Zee wasn’t big on sweets, but Nunew had always loved macarons. Could it be that
Zee bought it for him?
“No.”
Nunew looked at him in confusion. If he hadn’t listened, then why did he want to meet?
Before he could ask, Zee continued, “I’d rather hear it from you directly.”
“You want me to sing?” he asked shocked and Zee tried to hide the smile as he sipped his
coffee but too late, Nu had already seen it.
“Oh.”
Nunew took a sip of his tea, preparing himself for what he was going to say. Sincere as he
was, he didn't know where to start. If Zee had listened to the song, it would have been easier,
he'd know that Nu would want a second chance and that he'd hope Zee would give it to him,
but now, he’d have to put it into words.
“Jack and I weren't really dating” he began but Zee gave him a look that made it clear he
didn't believe him “at first I seriously thought he just wanted to be friends so we hung out, the
rumors started and the public reaction was pretty positive. Then everything happened too
fast, the agency decided it was good publicity and Jack didn't object, saying it was good
publicity for their brand. I accepted and the rest I think everyone knows.”
He fidgeted with his cup, as if the warmth of it could ground him, he felt as if he were
confessing his crimes.
“Jack tried to make it real after a while. But I told him the truth, I was still in love with
someone else. I didn't think it was right for him. But he insisted saying it would be perfect to
move on and lots of other things.” taking a deep breath ”I agreed and we started really dating
but after a few months I ended it.”
“It wasn't fair, not to him, not to me, not even to you.” He took a deep breath and decided to
give it his best shot “I still loved you, and I felt like I was cheating on you. Yes, I know we'd
broken up, but all I could think about was you, and he knew it. I just didn't want to hold him
back in a one-way relationship.”
“I see.”
“I still love you” Nunew murmured but loud enough for the other to hear and he did as he
spat out his coffee, splattering Nu’s face.
“I'm sorry” Zee apologized hastily grabbing some tissue to pass to the young singer, who
surprisingly had a smile on his face.
“What’s so funny?”
“No, but it would make lovely lyrics; I remember the coffee spat on my face when I deigned
to confess my feelings to you. Rather romantic, isn't it?”
A heavy silence settled between them, Nunew wondering if he'd blown it, if he didn't stand a
chance, if it was too late, but even a few days ago the kiss they'd exchanged was real and the
feeling of longing was there, so...
“I don't know if I could ever totally forget. You really hurt me Nhu, and I'm not ready to go
through that again, if you're worried about my forgiveness, I forgave you a long time ago. But
I think we should keep some distance. Focus on your career...”
“No!” he shouted ”not that please, I don't want to make the same mistake again. I'm not a
child anymore, I know what I want now and it's you I want Hia...”
“But what about what I want? You haven’t even asked if I still have feelings for you.”
Nunew lowered his eyes in shame. It was true that, once again, he was only looking at his
side, he only cared about his own feelings. It turns out Zee doesn't have any feelings for him
anymore and as if he'd read his mind “You don't even know if I still love you, it's been years
and I've spent them trying to forget you.”
Nunew blinked several times trying to hold back his tears, he knew it was only a matter of
time before he started crying. Should he really give up? He hadn't even started when his
hopes were already being dashed. But Zee's mother's voice, telling him he had nothing to
lose, gave him one last hope. All or nothing.
“You've already loved me once, would it be so hard to do it again?” He locked his gaze with
Zee’s and, as seriously and sincerely as he could convey, said, “Let me win you back, one,
no, two months. If after two months you don't feel anything for me, I'll leave you alone and
our relationship will be purely professional.”
Zee seemed to think for a moment, but he didn't seem surprised by the request; it was almost
as if he'd been expecting it. He propped up his elbow on the table and rested his chin on his
palm. “Exclusive?”
“Huh?”
“I mean, should this ‘wooing’ period be exclusive?” Zee raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk
hinting on his lips. “Because, you know… I have needs.”
Nunew flushed, caught off guard , he'd never been intimate with anyone other than Zee and
just imagining Zee with other people while he was trying to get him back was unbearable.
“My heart… my body… they’ve always belonged to you, Hia.” He rose, not wanting to give
the other chances to speak. “I should go. Thank you for the tea.”
Before Zee could say anything, Nunew leaned in, planting a soft kiss on his lips, leaving him
stunned. Then, he turned and left, grabbing a macaron on his way out.

“Zee, excuse me for disturbing you, but Nunew is here and insists on seeing you,” Poppy, his
secretary, announced from the door. “He says it’s urgent.”
Zee raised an eyebrow, momentarily pausing his work. What was Nunew doing here? After
his unexpected visit a few days ago, Zee had declined all his attempts to meet, using work as
an excuse. It wasn’t a complete lie, the upcoming launch of his new collection had consumed
most of his time. But there was another reason, He was afraid.
He was afraid because his feelings for Nunew weren’t buried as deeply as he wanted to
believe. He still wanted him, just as much as before. But was he truly ready to open himself
up again? He didn’t want to risk another heartbreak, even though Nunew wouldn’t need to try
hard to make Zee fall in love with him all over again. he wasn’t sure if that’s what he really
wanted, to risk getting hurt again.
Lost in his thoughts, Zee barely registered Max telling Poppy to let Nunew in. When he
snapped out of it, Max was already looking at him with a knowing look.
Nunew strode into the office, Zee couldn’t decide if he looked furious or just annoyed, but
either way, Nunew didn’t waste time. He didn’t even glance at Max as he crossed the room
and planted both hands on Zee’s desk.
Before Zee could respond, Nunew continued. “You’re not seriously going to tell me you
work seven days a week and can’t spare two hours for me. That’s ridiculous.”
Zee didn’t even try to hide the smile that came to his lips. Only Nunew could act like that. He
shook his head and turned his attention back to the document he was reviewing. “Did he
seriously not see me, or did he just decide to ignore me?” Max asked, moving from the sofa
to sit across from Zee.
“None of your business,” Zee replied, turning back to his work. “Now, let’s get back to
work.”
Just then, Zee’s phone vibrated with a message. ‘Sorry, I got a little frustrated. But I meant
what I said’
Zee’s lips curved into a smile as he typed back. ‘I understand, and I promise I’ll try to free
myself this week.’
Now that wasn’t so hard. He was going to go for it no matter what he expected and if he
ended up heartbroken…it would serve as another lesson.
“You’re scaring me. Why are you smiling like that?” Max teased, eyeing him. But Zee tossed
a pen at him in response.
******
Nunew couldn’t quite believe what had possessed him to storm into Zee’s office, but he
didn’t regret it. His boldness had paid off—he had a date with Zee tonight.
His day started with an interview for Minnty Magazine. It went smoothly, touching on his
latest album, his creative process, and snippets of his personal life. During the conversation,
Nunew decided to address a sensitive topic.
“I’ve seen a few harsh comments recently,” he began carefully. “These songs were written
long ago, when I was healing from a difficult breakup. They have nothing to do with P’Jack,
who’s an incredible person. I hope the negativity directed at him stops. He doesn’t deserve
it.”
The interviewer nodded and soon transitioned into lighter topics, including a game. Nunew
had to prank three random contacts by texting them : Can you send me 500,000 baht?
The interviewer picked up his phone and began to scroll randomly to choose the people. The
first contact chosen was Nat. Nunew laughed. “He’ll just ignore me or call to roast me. That’s
Nat.”
The second contact was his brother, and Nunew half-jocked, “He’ll probably block me for
asking something so absurd.”
Then the third contact popped up. It was Hia. The interviewer raised a brow. “Hia? Is he your
brother?”
Nunew shook his head, cheeks flushing. “No, he’s just…a close friend.”
“I doubt he’ll even read the message,” Nunew replied, praying he was right because Zee was
quite capable of sending him the money and he wouldn’t know what to do if he was asked to
call him.
He sent the messages and braced himself for the responses. Nat called immediately.
Nat scoffed. “You never say please when you want something from me.”
Nunew rolled his eyes. “Why do you have to expose me like this?”
His brother’s reply came next: ‘Ask Mom and Dad. Or the bank? Bye.’
Nunew was still chuckling when another message came through. He froze.
“Oh my God!” Nunew gasped, staring at his phone in disbelief. “Hia sent the money,” he
blurted still in shock
The interviewer gasped dramatically. “You have to call and thank him.”
Nunew hesitated, dread pooling in his stomach. He didn’t want to mess up, he didn’t want
this to ruin everything. If Zee wasn’t famous, he wouldn’t have minded, but now everyone
would know who he was. But after some coaxing, he dialed.
The phone rang twice before being redirected to voicemail. Had he hung up? Nunew didn’t
know whether to be delighted or disappointed. A message followed shortly after: ‘Sorry, I’m
in a meeting. I’ll call you back.’
The interviewer laughed. “Looks like the fans will be curious about this mysterious Hia who
just won them 50 tickets.”
Nunew had just finished setting the table when his intercom buzzed. It was a bit early for it
to be Zee; he thought he still had time to change before Zee arrived. He answered, and it was
security informing him of Zee's visit. He sent Zee a message saying he was leaving the door
open and that Zee could come in while he took a shower. He hurried, and in less than fifteen
minutes, he was showered and dressed. He hoped Zee hadn’t been bored waiting.
When he returned to the living room, Zee was on the balcony, leaning against the glass
railing, his back to Nunew. Nunew took a moment to admire the man before him. Zee looked
like he’d just come from the office, still in his suit, though he had removed his jacket. This
allowed Nunew to appreciate the firm muscles barely concealed by Zee’s shirt. Clearing his
throat to get Zee’s attention, he got no response. Nunew moved closer, leaning his back
against the railing beside him.
"Hmm, it's peaceful here," Zee replied absently before turning to face him. His eyes lingered
a little too long on Nunew, scanning him from head to toe, making Nunew suddenly feel
vulnerable. He had chosen a light beige shirt and pants, since the date was at his place and he
didn't know whether to make too much of an effort or not. And given that Zee had shown up
in a suit, maybe he should have dressed up!
"Sorry, I had something come up at work, so I came straight here. I didn’t have time to
change."
"Oh no, no, don’t apologize. I’m just glad you’re here."
They stood in silence for a while, observing the city lights. It was peaceful.
"Would you rather have dinner here?" Nunew asked. The balcony had a small dining table,
perfect for two, and since Zee seemed to be enjoying the fresh air, it felt like a good idea.
So they moved the food from the dining table inside to the one on the balcony. Everything
was done in silence, and it was when they were sitting down at the table that Nunew noticed
the bag Zee put down at the table, it was from his favorite bakery, if it was macarons....
"Yes, they’re macarons and other desserts. I know you love them," Zee said, as if reading his
mind. But it wasn’t hard to guess, given how Nunew had been eyeing the bag. He was
moments away from starting with dessert.
"Yes, I’m not a chef, but I’ve learned to manage. So don’t judge too quickly," He instantly
defended himself. Zee was an excellent cook, and though he had often offered to teach
Nunew, the latter always refused, joking that Zee would never let him starve anyway.
This was the first time Zee had invited Nunew to his apartment, they weren't boyfriends yet
but deep down they knew it was only a matter of time and Nunew had sworn to himself that if
Zee didn't ask him out, he'd do it himself.
“You're right on time,” Zee said with a small smile, stepping aside to let Nunew in.
He didn't reply, and venturing into the apartment, his footsteps halted right in front of the
kitchen, the smell of spices enveloping his nostrils, his mouth already watering.
“Don't act so shocked. I'm not bad at it,” Zee replied, gesturing for Nunew to follow him.
The food was very good and from then on, Nunew always insisted on cooking instead of
eating out, he was addicted to the food Zee prepared.
"Not bad. Where did you learn to cook?" Zee asked, pulling Nunew out of his thoughts.
"Well, you weren’t around to cook for me anymore, so I had to learn. My mom couldn’t stand
me anymore," Nunew joked.
A shadow passed over Zee’s face, and Nunew immediately regretted his words. What an
idiot! To say that, knowing it was he who’d left and not the other way around. He quickly
murmured an apology, but Zee dismissed it, saying he should stop apologizing so often or it
would lose its value.
"You don’t have to walk on eggshells around me. Say whatever you want."
And that's really what he needed, because after that they talked a bit about everything,
Nunew telling him about how difficult and euphoric it had been over the last few years, how
he always wanted everything to be perfect, and Zee talking about the difficulties he'd had in
the beginning before setting up his business and how today he was grateful to have succeeded
and not given up.
At some point in the discussion they moved to the beanbags on the balcony, with their
macaroons and tea. Time flew, and over two hours had passed and if it hadn't been for the call
from his manager to remind him not to forget that he had an early morning shoot, they'd still
be chatting.
"I have to go. I had a great evening, Nunew," Zee said, standing and heading inside.
Zee glanced at him, his expression unreadable. "It’s not a big deal."
"It is to me," Nunew insisted. "I’ve missed this, hmm being with you."
Nunew didn’t want to seem desperate, but he genuinely wanted Zee to understand how much
he had missed him. Zee didn’t respond, and Nunew realized he wasn’t ready to give an
answer. Changing the subject, Nunew added
Nunew laughed, shaking his head. "No, it was for a prank. During an interview, I had to send
a question to some contacts. You were the only one who actually sent me the money."
"Oh! That’s fine. Use it. You don’t have to return it."
"I do have money, you know," Nunew pouted, making Zee laugh before assuring him it didn’t
bother him.
~******~
After that day, Zee and Nunew had many more dates, mostly in the evenings and often at
Zee's apartment, his home or Zee's house, which was absolutely beautiful. Nunew couldn't
even understand why Hia had such a big house and lived there all alone. But apparently it
was so that his family could stay in one place when they were in town.
Nunew was a little depressed about their dates indoors. He knew he couldn't afford to hang
around outside with Zee, they were both public figures and if he could avoid dragging Zee's
name into a scandal that would be perfect.
"Where are we going?" asked Zee sliding into the passenger seat as Nunew picked him up
from his office. Thank goodness people didn't know this car was his yet.
The latter looked at him amused but made no move to fasten his seatbelt.
"Do you want me to put it on myself?" asked Nunew, leaning over to do it himself. He fully
expected Zee to stop him, but when Zee stayed still, Nunew complied, securing the belt
perfectly while avoiding looking at him, he heard Zee chuckle and looked up at him.
“It’s nice,” Zee said softly. “You taking care of me. That’s cute.”
Yes, he wanted to treat Zee in the best possible way, he wanted to prove to him that he really
cared about him and would do anything to win him back. He deserved to be treated like a
special person.
“My little princess passenger,” Nunew joked, “anything for you, Hia.”
"Stop this Nhu, I'm not a princess passenger" Zee faked annoyance but Nunew knew he was
hiding a smile.
Soon they arrived at the restaurant and when they entered Nunew was surprised to see a man
smiling at Zee.
"What the fuck Zee Pruk Panich?" the man exclaimed and Zee turned to him smiling, they
hugged briefly before turning to Nunew.
"Hello, I'm..."
"Nunew I know, I'm Net, the owner. You called to reserve the restaurant I figured you wanted
more privacy, so I'll serve you personally."
"I can't believe you're dating Chawarin" Net whispered to Zee but not low enough for Nunew
not to hear, he waited for Zee to deny, but he did nothing and just shrugged "It's none of your
business and you didn't see anything."
Net led them to a private room despite the restaurant being entirely empty—better safe than
sorry, he explained. As they settled in, Zee glanced around the room.
“You could’ve told me you knew Net,” Nunew said, pouting slightly. “I thought I’d be
showing you a new spot.”
Zee chuckled. “I’ve never been to this location. I’ve only been to his other restaurant near my
office.”
The restaurant was rather far out of town and had chosen it for the privacy. It was said that
several celebrities frequented the place, but as Nunew didn't want to take any risks, he
decided to book the whole restaurant.
"How do you know each other?" he asked curiously, He tried to sound casual, but the way
they greeted each other earlier had stirred a tiny pang of jealousy.
"We worked in the same café back then. You probably didn’t meet him because you only ever
came in when I was working.”
Nunew blushed at the subtle callout. He just shook his head and thanked Net for appearing
with their dishes.
~******~
After dinner, they went to the cinema, where Nunew had obviously booked a private
screaning.
“I really want to see this movie, and watching it with you in the theater is a thousand times
better…”
“Max and Nat have been talking about it ever since they went to see it,” said Zee as they sat
side by side in the middle of the theater, “But I thought you didn’t like horror movies.”
The film began and they fell into a comfortable silence, disturbed only by Nunew’s muffled
yelps whenever a particularly terrifying scene appeared. Zee chuckled every time, clearly
amused by Nunew’s reactions.
“I’m never watching it again” Nunew declared when they were out of the room.
“It wasn’t that bad,” Zee teased. “Even Tara could handle it.”
Nunew turned towards him ready to feign offense when he spotted young girls in the distance
looking at them strangely, they must surely be wondering if it was really him and who he was
with. Not wanting to risk drawing attention, he took out the masks he’d brought with him just
in case, and handed one to Zee which he put on without question. Surely he’d already figured
it out.
Once in the car, Zee insisted on driving. “You’ve done enough driving for today and I know
you hate driving.” It was true, he didn’t like driving; it was too much expenditure of energy
for nothing.
Zee drove them back to his apartment and suggested that Nunew go upstairs and rest before
getting back behind the wheel, which he readily accepted. To tell the truth, he just wanted to
spend as much time with Zee. Maybe he could even sleep in. He had nothing the next day.
“You spend more time here than at your home,” Nunew teased as they stepped into the
apartment.
Nunew nodded and accepted the glass of cold water Hia handed him.
Nunew was watching Zee work (read drooling over Zee). He was so caught up in admiring
Zee’s focused expression that he jumped when the kettle dinged. In his startled state, he
accidentally knocked over his glass, spilling cold water all over himself. “Oh shit!”
Zee immediately grabbed some tissues but stopped midway. “I’ll just get you a spare shirt.”
His phone rang at the same moment and Nunew shook his head, “I can go if you don’t mind,
I know the apartment.”
Zee nodded and gave him permission to go while he answered his call.
He entered the bedroom, the same one they had once shared. But as he stepped inside, he
froze. The room was unrecognizable.
There was no longer the bed in the middle of the room, nor the wardrobe that Nunew had
managed to convince Zee to paint pink, nor the table they’d worked so hard to get into the
room so they could study, that had been a very bad idea, by the way.
No, there was none of that, In their place stood a full-wall mirror and a pink sofa in the center
of the room. The wall adjacent to the mirror was covered with photos of… him. Pictures he
didn’t even remember, Zee liked taking pictures of him, but he never thought he’d print them,
or display them on the wall like in a museum.
He walked over to the pics and noticed the writing in the corner.
‘First official date’ could be read on a picture of Nunew sitting on the floor concentrating on
his phone, all smiles. He knew what he was smiling at; Nat had sent him a picture of Zee.
He’d had to beg his best friend for this photo.
In another, Nunew was standing in the living room, remote in hand as a microphone,
watching a performance by his favorite band on TV, saying ‘Future star, best of all’.
One picture hit him particularly hard; Nunew was sitting at the foot of the bed, head between
his knees, looking exhausted. ‘Hang in there baby, you’ll make it’.
Nunew remembers that day, it was just a few days before Nunew broke up.
“Babe, what’s wrong?” Zee had asked him that night, but Nunew couldn’t tell him anything,
couldn’t tell him that his bosses had told him about the risks of dating as an idol, about how
he was beginning to come to terms with the idea that he had to let Zee go for his happiness.
He loved Zee, he loved him so much, but was he ready to give up his dream for that love?
These questions stayed in his head all night even as Hia made love to him as if he were the
most precious thing in the world, even as he held him in his arms all night and even as he
said goodbye in the morning.
That was when he decided it was best to break up, and even though part of him regretted it,
another part kept telling himself it was better as long as he could make amends today. He was
going to make it up to him.
"You weren't supposed to find this room!" remarked Zee from the doorway, he turned and
faced him.
"What's this room?" Nunew asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
“It… it was supposed to be a surprise for your debut,” Zee admitted. “I wanted to make a
mini studio for you. A place to rehearse, your own space. I set up the mirror and was going to
order the recording equipment, but… well, things happened.”
Nunew didn't let him finish, he crossed the room in a few quick strides and grabbed Zee by
the collar, pulling him down to meet his lips. This time, Nunew vowed to himself, he
wouldn’t let go. He pressed himself against Zee, his hands fisting the fabric of his shirt as he
tilted his head, deepening the kiss.
Zee stumbled slightly, caught off guard but quickly responded. His arms wrapped around
Nunew’s waist, pulling him even closer until their bodies were flush against each other. Zee
kissed him back with equal fervor, his lips moving hungrily over Nunew's, their breaths
mingling as they explored each other. Nunew's hands slid up, curling around the back of
Zee's neck, his lips parting slightly to allow Zee's tongue to brush against his own.
Zee’s hands roamed, one sliding up to cradle Nunew’s jaw while the other gripped his waist
firmly, he guided them to the sofa, as Zee sit on and Nu straddle him, they never broke the
kiss. The kiss grew hotter, more desperate, Zee’s lips trailed along Nunew’s jawline before
finding their way back to his mouth, devouring him with an almost primal need.
With the kisses getting eager, he can't help all the sensations running through his body and he
barely noticed when he was rubbing himself against Hia, craving more contact. They were
hard and Nu started losing his mind. He moved his hand from hia’s neck to his chest, resting
there a few seconds to feel his heartbeat. The hand now on Zee’s stomach, he slide his fingers
slowly through the waistband of his pants. Zee stopped and pulled away
“Why?” he whined but when he gave a look to Zee, he understood. They shouldn’t be doing
this, not like that, not before they really talked about their situation.
“Can I stay the night? Just sleeping, I’m tired” he asked and surprisingly Zee just nodded,
before stood up and left the room.
Zee returned to give him some clean clothes, he totally forgot about the water he had spilled
on himself earlier. Nunew went to change, taking the opportunity to shower—and, of course,
to relieve himself, he was left with a hard on.
When he came back, Hia asked him if he would mind sharing the bed. Oh hell no, the only
thing that would bother him was sharing the same bed and not being able to touch him.
“You can sleep; I still have some work to do,” Zee said before leaving him alone in the
bedroom.
It was midnight the last time Nunew checked the time, and Zee still hadn’t come to bed.
Nunew eventually fell asleep, replaying their earlier kiss over and over in his mind.
Zee was woken up by the relentless notifications from his phone. Who could possibly be
bothering him this early a sunday? He checked his notifications, which were mostly from
Twitter and Instagram. Ignoring them, he opened his messages.
The message was followed by a link leading to a Twitter thread titled: Proof that Zee Pruk is
Nunew Chawarin’s ex-boyfriend!
It was then that Zee remembered he had fallen asleep in the same bed as Nunew. He turned
over, but the spot beside him was empty.
I'll update another chapter tomorrow but this will be mostly for the thread and reaction.
And the next part Saturday or Sunday cause i already wrote half of it 🫶
Thank you for reading :)

Chapter Notes
@ZEE_Dtyh
1. the family, like none of you thought why Tara seemed to know Nunew so well? Or the photo
of Zee's mother with Nunew? I know you're debating whether it was really Zee's mother, but if
it was HER
2. Nat? Nat is Zee's cousin and also Nunew's best friend. Okay that's not concrete
evidence but remember his song lyrics. True, he's related to you, but he's my best friend,
shouldn't he be on my side? I wanted to find you an ounce of fault but oh what a fool I
was the only one at fault and I lost two beautiful people that day.'
We know that for a while Nat was no longer in Nunew's life and that they reunited just after
he was appointed ambassador of Supersunn.
3. The Porsche Cayenne ??? It's always been Zee's dream car, and he drives a Porsche
Cayenne now.
4. Haven't you noticed that they've always been weird when they've been at the same
event? Please, they've known each other ever since and even too well.
5. The pictures published, I didn't want to talk about them because clearly they're private
but please if you're a fan of Zee, you know it's him. Try to look carefully.
6. When Nunew was asked to describe his type, you all assumed it was Jack but now that
Zee is in the picture, watch the interview again....
Anyway, I'm right and I have more proof but I don't want to invade their privacy so I'll wait.
@NuStyle_00: Oh pretty consistent, I mean Nunew did say that his ideal type is a dark-
haired man older than him, well-built and kind ( Zee is five years older than Nunew while
Jack is just two). #ZeeNunewIsReal
@Viviii: He also said brown eyes. Jack has light eyes, doesn't he? 🤔 #ZeeNunewIsReal
@NunaNation: Then if you think about it, it makes sense. I've been team ZeeNunew since
the Nunew-Tara interaction. #ZeeNunewIsReal
@ZeeNunew_b4official: Ever since the gala, when Zee had swapped their desserts, I knew
something was suspicious. Even though Zee knew Nunew didn't like it, he wasn't under any
obligation to change. Nunew could have asked for another dessert later.... #ZeeNunewIsReal
@unimpressed_ssfan: And for the record Zee isn't a fan of coconut, you can see in this
👀
interview ytb.com/11321 where he said he knew someone who didn't eat coconut and over
time he hardly ate any.
😭
@Zunshine00: Oh YEAAAH I REMEMBER ! ZeeNunew ex-boyfriends I can't believe 😭
@Nu4life: ZeeNunew can you confirm this thread? I so want to believe it #ZeeNunewIsReal
@Preaya6: You people are sick, Zee would never date someone like Nunew. Leave Zee out
of your nonsense. #LeaveZeeAlone
@SSZfg5: If it's true I'm glad they broke up, knowing that Nunew broke his heart so much
the better that he's no longer part of his life.
🤮🤮🤮
@dylan__: Weirdo, why would Zee go out with Nunew, back then he was just a kid. Zee's a
pedo
@NUna: Don't even get me started on insulting Nunew, it’s your man who manipulated a
😒
child into going out with him, thank goodness they broke up or he would have just ruined
Nunew's life and career #ProtectNunewFromZee
@jjhrt: I'm just glad Jack broke up with Nunew, he seems to be the problem.
@Sea_ImSS: I didn't know I'd ever agree with a Zee fan but Nunew doesn't seem like a good
person.
@Chawarin_fake0: Since everyone seems to be arguing over nothing, let me help you out....
Hello Mr (ex) boyfriend? #ZeeNunewIsReal
@ZNN_willbereal: Holy shit! Zeenunew real? #ZeeNunewIsReal
@Lea888: So it's Nunew and Zee we saw in the cinema earlier? My friends and I thought we
were dreaming...
@ZPP_wifey: I can't believe it! Zee why? We were supposed to get married
@Lea888: I think they got back together, it was really them in the mall but I don't want to
post the pics
@Greada: Why no one cancel this chawarin_fake, they casually post private pics and no one
seem to care? Y'all should protect your artist dmd
@Nunananu: I've been said this since forever but they don't care, they just want drama

Zee looked around to confirm if Nunew was still there or not, but no, the young singer wasn’t
there. Had he left because of the photos? That was so typical of him. Thinking about it,
Nunew had left him for exactly that reason—because he didn’t want their relationshIp to
become public. And now everyone knew he was the ex in question. It wasn’t even possible to
deny it, and no matter what lame excuse he came up with, no one would believe him.
He shouldn’t have let Nunew stay here because at least the kiss wouldn’t have happened, and
he wouldn’t have gotten his hopes up about possibly rekindling their relationship. It was so
obvious that he was still in love with Nunew, and the past few weeks were proof of that. He
had loved the attention Nu gave him and had gotten used to it. But after this scandal—if it
could even be called a scandal—he wasn’t sure they’d even speak to each other again, let
alone get back together.
After long minutes of internal debate, he decided to get up. There was no point in staying in
bed moping. He needed his coffee, and after that, he’d call Nunew. This time, they would
talk. What was the worst that could happen? It wasn’t as if he’d go through another breakup.
He stepped out of the bedroom, and just as he was heading toward the kitchen, the front door
opened. Nunew walked in, a bag In hand and his phone pressed to his ear, struggling to close
the door behind him.
“Yes, yes, I promise… Not today… Hmm… It’s my day off… I know, okay, I promise,
tomorrow. Bye.”
It was only when he noticed Zee standing in the middle of the room, looking at him with
surprise, that he reacted.
“Oh, Hia! You’re already up?” he asked, heading to the kitchen with his bag. “I went out to
get breakfast. You really have nothing here. I couldn’t even make an omelet,” Nunew said as
he began unpacking groceries. He had bought eggs, cartons of milk, juice, and even cakes
and macarons. Zee could also spot some sausages as Nunew stored them in the fridge.
Zee was looking at him, but it was as if his brain refused to register he was real.
“You’re still here!” he blurted out, and Nunew turned to him with a confused expression.
“Of course. Did you want me to leave?” he asked, a hint of sadness in his voice.
“No,” Zee almost shouted. “It’s just that I thought you’d have left after…”
He didn’t finish his sentence, but Nunew understood. Zee could tell he understood by the way
his face lit up with realization.
“You saw the photos?” Nunew asked, and Zee simply nodded.
“Well, I don’t see why I’d leave because of that. Go get ready while I make breakfast. And if
you want to talk after, we’ll talk.”
They ate breakfast mostly in silence. Nunew didn’t know what to say, apart from feeling
sorry. He had woken up very early, and as soon as he checked his phone, the notifications
poured in one after another. He had read the thread, seen the photos, and strangely, he didn’t
feel the urge to disappear. Sure, it would generate more hate, but he wasn’t worried about
himself—he was worried about Hia. Zee’s life before Nunew had entered the picture had
been peaceful. Nunew had never read a single scandal about Zee Pruk, only rumors and
praise. But now that the world knew Nunew was his ex, Zee would be dragged through the
mess, and Nunew couldn’t calm down. Especially since he didn’t plan to disappear.
Would Zee still want him after this? Maybe he would ask Nunew to leave him alone, to
disappear from his life? He wouldn’t be able to handle that. It would be inconceivable to be
away from Zee now—not after they’d found each other again, not after the weeks they’d
spent together, and especially not after last night’s kiss. He would give anything to start over,
to have Hia kiss him again, hold him, sleep by his side, and more than anything, make love to
him again and again. Well, it wasn’t just that he was horny—okay, he was—but it was more
about how his body only reacted in Zee’s presence. He had never felt such a desperate need
to be close to someone. Even when he was with Jack, he had never been sexually attracted to
him. Even though they’d made out a few times and even shared the same bed, nothing had
ever happened between them.
“Nhu?”
Nunew realized he had been so lost in his thoughts that he had been eating mechanically,
barely paying attention. Why was he fixating on this macaron? Maybe because it was pink,
his favorite color, and it looked too pretty to eat—though he had already eaten a few before.
He met Zee’s gaze again and saw understanding, attention, and assurance. Assurance that he
wouldn’t leave, that he would listen, and that he would understand.
“I’m sorry. I’ve put you in another tough situation. Now there are going to be all these rumors
about you, and it’s my fault.”
Zee instantly stood and crouched beside him, taking his hands in his and urging him to look
at him.
“It’s not your fault. It’s the fault of those people exposing others’ lives. You know I’ve never
been affected by what people say about me. I’m more worried about you—what I’ve read is
pretty harsh.”
Nunew managed a weak smile. That was Zee’s problem, he always worried about others,
cared for others, and put their happiness before his own.
“But I do think about myself. If you’re happy, then I’m happy too.”
They sat in silence for a while, just looking at each other peacefully. Then Nunew, without
thinking, the words coming faster than his mind, asked,
Zee’s eyes widened in surprise at Nunew’s words. He had expected anything but that.
“You said not to count the first days when I didn’t agree the dates!” Zee clarified.
He saw Nunew frown, clearly displeased with Zee’s response. Nunew pulled his hands away
and crossed his arms.
“You could just reject me. No need to use my words against me.”
Zee sighed as he noticed Nunew’s pout, he stood up and sat back down across from him.
“Nhu,” Zee hesitated, his voice low and careful, “I don’t know if we’re ready to start a
relationship again. I’m not turning you down, I promise. I just think we’re rushing things.”
Nunew looked at him as if he’d just spoken another language. He could understand Zee’s
hesitation, but he didn’t agree. Too soon? Hell no, they lost three years.
“I thought things were getting better. That…” Nunew trailed off, the words tumbling out too
fast. “Forget it. I’m sorry, I just… ”
“Nunew, listen,” Zee interrupted, gently “I didn’t say it was over. It’s just… you don’t like
lying, and we both know how messy the fallout from these leaks could get. Maybe it’s better
if we wait, just for now.”
“Wait?” Nunew’s voice was soft but hurt. “Are we still going to see each other, or is it going
to be dead silence ?”
Zee chuckled lightly, “We’ll still text, at worst. But yeah, we should probably cut down on
the outings for now.”
Nunew pouted, his lips curving into a frown that made Zee fight the urge to kiss him right
then and there.
“It’s not the end of the world, Nu,” Zee reassured him.
~******~
Days passed, and just as Zee had said, their outings stopped entirely. They hadn’t seen each
other since Nunew was urgently called by his agency to find out how they were going to
address the rumors.
In the end, they just addressed the fact that Nunew and Zee had known each other for a long
time and that there was nothing else to say about their relationship, past or present. That it
was their artist’s privacy. Naturally, fans didn’t buy the statement. Especially after the earlier
Woody interview, fans and now non-fans alike were convinced that Nunew wanted Zee back,
which was obviously true. But the public didn’t need to know that. Nunew avoided any
questions about Zee, and when that was almost impossible, he played the ‘it’s not only about
me, I can’t talk about it’ card. He knew it annoyed people, but frankly they had no right to his
story, and he had the right to keep his story to himself. If he were to confirm that Zee was
indeed his ex, people would dig even deeper for more information.
So, he did.
Standing at Zee’s door in his house, cause yeah he wasn’t at his apartment. Nunew rang the
bell, bracing himself for anything. What he didn’t expect was for Zee to open the door
wearing only pajama bottoms and a towel draped around his neck.
“Is that how you greet people?” Nunew asked, raising an eyebrow. Cheeks already red
despite him.
Zee blinked at him, then glanced down at himself. “What’s wrong with it? Besides, I thought
you were Mark. We were supposed to meet tonight.”
Nunew frowned. “Call him and cancel.” Nunew didn’t bother hiding his displeasure. Sure,
he’d shown up unannounced, but that didn’t mean Zee had to look this… casual for someone
else. It made him only angrier and jealous.
“Fine. Go” Nunew said, brushing past him into the living room. “I’ll wait for you to come
back.”
Zee laughed but didn’t argue, heading upstairs to get dressed. Nunew scowled, the jealousy
bubbling in his chest. Zee was laughing. Laughing. As if Nunew wasn’t seconds away from
bursting with annoyance. How could he possibly go out with his friend and let him in his
house alone? He could burn it ugghhh.
Without thinking, Nunew followed him upstairs, pushing open the bedroom door without
knocking.
And froze.
Zee stood there in nothing but boxer shorts, a T-shirt dangling loosely from his hand. He
looked up, surprised, and arched a brow. “Are you done staring?” he said after a moment.
Nunew ignored the heat rising to his cheeks and stepped forward, eyes locked on Zee’s. His
gaze landed to Zee’s phone sitting on the bed. Without a word, he picked it up and held it out.
“Call Mark and tell him you have an emergency,” he commanded softly.
Zee hesitated, his eyes searching Nunew’s face for an explanation. Finally, with a small sigh,
he typed a quick message before tossing the phone aside.
Nunew stepped closer, cupping Zee’s face with his hands. His fingers slid to the back of
Zee’s neck, pulling him down gently.
And then, without hesitation, Nunew pressed their lips together. Zee hesitated only for a
moment before melting into it, his hands finding their way to Nunew’s waist, pulling him
closer.
Nunew broke the kiss just enough to whisper, “I’ve waited long enough, Hia. No more
waiting.”
Zee didn’t reply with words. He pulled him impossibly closer and kissed him.
Nunew’s lips were insistent and full of the longing he’d been bottling up for weeks. Zee
groaned softly against him, his hands slid to Nunew’s hips, gripping them firmly as he
pressed himself even further.
Nunew gasped at the contact of Zee’s cock in his thigh, only now did he registered fully that
Zee was almost naked in his arms and they were kissing so madly… He felt himself getting
hard.
“Nu…” Zee murmured, his voice low and strained. “You’re playing with fire.”
“Maybe I want to get burned,” Nunew whispered, his lips brushing Zee’s jaw before trailing
down to his neck.
Zee’s breath hitched as Nunew’s teeth grazed his skin, he tilted his head back, giving Nunew
all the access he wanted, his fingers tightening on Nunew’s hips. Nunew’s hands roamed
Zee’s chest, his fingers tracing the toned muscles
“Nothing is stopping you from strip me,” Nunew shot back, his tone teasing as he smirked up
at him.
Zee answered with a kiss, rougher this time, claiming Nunew’s mouth. Nunew gasped into it,
his knees going weak as Zee’s hands slid under his shirt, his fingers warm and firm against
his bare skin.
Nunew’s own hands wandered, slipping beneath Zee’s waistband and pulling him closer. Zee
growled low in his throat, the sound vibrating through Nunew’s chest and making his whole
body tingle.
“You sure about this?” Zee asked, pulling away, fingers curled on the hem of his shirt.
That was all Zee needed. He undressed him quickly and then he swept Nunew off his feet,
carrying him effortlessly to the bed and laying him down with a gentleness that was far from
the fire in his eyes. Zee hovered over him, his hands explored every inch of him, as if he was
relearning the contours of his body.
Nunew arched into him, his hands gripping Zee’s shoulders as he pulled him down, their
mouths meeting again in a kiss that was all hunger and heat.
Zee slipped a hand between them, and removed the only remaining garment on him, soon
they were completely naked, bodies pressed together. Their hard cocks touching sending a
jolt to Nunew every time Zee pressed against him.
Their kisses deepened, messy and desperate, as the friction between their bodies only
intensified the heat. Nunew couldn’t stop the moans spilling from his lips. He knew he
wouldn’t last much longer, his body was on edge, dangerously close to release. But he didn’t
want to come untouched.
He didn’t have to wonder any further, as Hia seemed to sense his need. His mouth trail down
until he captured one of Nunew’s nipples, sucking it. Nunew’s back arched off the bed, a
strangled gasp escaping, he totally forgot just how sensitive he was there.
Zee sucked nipple after nipple without letting him catch a breath, Nunew felt as if all the air
had left his lungs and if he died right away, he wouldn’t even be disappointed. Maybe a little
because his dick was there painfully hard and Hia wasn’t giving him the attention it deserved.
“Hia…” he moaned, he wanted Zee to touch him, to make him see stars, to send him as far as
he could ever imagine, to make him scream as much as possible “Please, touch me, I want
to…”
His words ended in a gasp as Zee took his hard-on in his hand and started stroking it.
He hadn’t stopped sucking his nipples and added that to the pleasure of his hand on his cock,
Nunew was at his wits’ end. This was too much, it wouldn’t be long before he came.
But Zee stopped abruptly and Nunew’s eyes flew open, frustration flashing across his face.
Nu glared at him. Why was Zee preventing him from reaching his orgasm, he opened his
mouth to complain but all that came out was an almost unrecognizable moan.
Zee had just taken his cock into his mouth and Nunew almost choked in his breath.
He closed his eyes to enjoy the moment and a few moments later he was cumming in Hia’s
mouth. He didn’t even have time to warn him, it all happened too fast.
He could barely catch his breath as Zee returned to him, pressing a soft, kiss to his lips before
settling beside him
Zee only smiled and shook his head “If you’re tired, it’s okay”.
Nunew just captured his lips in the way of a reply, and as they deepened the kiss, Nunew slid
his hand to Zee’s arousal, curled his fingers around and start stroking him, slowly at first then
with the soft moan that came from Zee, he increased his pace, stroking faster and
methodically the way he remembered Zee loved, and given how Zee was now, he was doing
his job well.
Zee groaned, bucking his hips “Nhu, fuck, I’m close, just… What the?”
Nunew took his cock between his mouth and as he sucked the head, his hand working in
tandem with his lips. Zee’s moans grew louder, his voice broken as he repeated Nunew’s
name like a mantra.
It didn’t take long before Zee was shooting his load into his mouth. Nu swallowed before
running his tongue over his lip without taking his eyes off Zee.
He lay down beside him and nestled against him, head in the crook of his neck. It was only
now that he felt the tiredness creeping over him.
Nunew had spent his day in the studio, he had a concert to prepare and his days were
exhausting. He felt his eyelids grow heavy and soon sleep overtook him.
Unknown to them, a scandal was about to knock on their door again… After Jack’s tweet.
“Just saw some interesting posts and pics that finally make sense. That song ‘Him, Him,
and Only Him’? Yeah, I get it now. Anyway, I fixed what you destroyed. Lucky I never tried
to be you. Nu’s too kind to spill the truth, but I’m not. Yes, I’m talking about you, Mr.
Perfect CEO.”
😭😘
Yeah yeah I know I love drama BUT HEY!!! they're fine now and little spoiler,
they'll be boyfriends... No fwb here
"So Jack said Nunew was the victim in his rs, what did Zee do to our baby?"
"I told you, Zee isn't an angel he manipulated Nu, he's older and Nu was just a kid"
"Kinda funny, so Jack hate Zee for a real reason? I thought it was just a brand ennemie
thing"
"Me shipping ZeeJack, my enemies to lovers trope 💀 "
"Why nobody look at the lyrics, it’s kinda confirm Jack’s post cause he litteraly said :
“I’m sure Zee was the real cause Nu broke up with him,”
~**********~
When Nunew opened his eyes the next day, the first thing he saw was a pair of tender eyes
gazing at him. Zee was lying on his side, watching him as if he were the most captivating
thing he’d ever seen.
The words jolted Nunew from his peaceful haze. He sat up abruptly, blinking rapidly, unsure
if he’d heard correctly. His eyes widened as he stared at Zee, who had now propped himself
up to sit across from him.
“I heard you right… you asked me…” Nunew began, his voice trailing off in disbelief.
Nunew felt his heart swell as tears began to blur his vision. The moment was so
overwhelming that he couldn’t find the words to respond.
“You… you want us to be boyfriends?” he repeated, sounding almost stupid to his own ears.
Zee chuckled softly. He reached out, taking Nunew’s hands in his and stroking his knuckles
with tenderness.
“Oh, yes, yes, of course!” Nunew snapped out of his daze, his face breaking into a grin so
wide it hurt. “I want to be your boyfriend!”
Without hesitation, Hia leaned in, capturing Nunew’s lips. But just as Zee moved to deepen
the kiss, his phone buzzed violently on the nightstand.
“Ah, shit!” Zee groaned, pulling back and grabbing his phone. His expression quickly turned
to panic. “I forgot about Mabel!”
Nunew blinked, still dazed from the kiss, as Zee bolted upright and started moving around
the room like a whirlwind.
“She’s coming today! I have to pick her up from the airport, and I’m late. She’s going to kill
me,” Zee muttered, running a hand through his hair. “My car’s in the garage…can you call
me a cab?” he asked, heading toward the bathroom.
“You can take my car if you want,” Nunew called after him, raising his voice to be heard over
the sound of the shower.
“Okay” Zee replied simply, his voice muffled.
Nunew stood, stretching before heading to the dressing room. Would it be too intrusive to
pick out clothes for Zee? He used to do it back then. Three years didn’t seem long enough for
Zee’s tastes to have changed. Right?
As he wandered through the spacious room, his eyes landed on an empty section of the
closet. His heart fluttered at the thought of filling it with his own clothes someday.
Wait! What’s wrong with you, Nunew? He shook his head, scolding himself. They had just
agreed to be boyfriends, and he was already thinking so far ahead.
Still, the thought made him want to scream in joy. Zee had asked him to be his boyfriend! He
could hardly believe it.
Nunew jumped at the sound of Zee’s voice and spun around to find Zee standing in the
doorway, a towel slung low around his waist, his hair still wet. The sight was utterly
distracting, and all Nunew could think about was how much he wanted to pull that towel
away.
Zee smirked, clearly reading his thoughts. “Save those ideas for later—I’m late,” he teased,
brushing past him to find something to wear.
“Uhm… I’ll ask Laeng to pick me up,” he said after a moment. “You can bring the car back
to me later.”
Nunew hesitated. “I don’t think Mabel wants to see me very much,” he admitted, his tone
subdued.
Zee frowned “You two should talk. I’m sure it’ll work out.”
Nunew nodded but wasn’t convinced. Mabel had a sharp sense of justice, and forgiving him
wouldn’t come easy, at least, not without her feeling like she’d gotten her revenge first.
Zee finished dressing and leaned in for another kiss. What was meant to be a quick goodbye,
turned into several minutes of heated making out, until Nunew finally pushed Zee toward the
door, laughing breathlessly “Go! You’re already late,” Nunew urged
Only when Zee was gone did Nunew remember his own phone.
“Shit,” he muttered, groaning when he saw sixteen missed calls from his manager.
~******~
Nunew kept his head down, saying nothing as Laeng drove him from Zee’s place to the
agency. The silence between them felt oppressive, but it was more stressful than being
outright scolded.
Earlier, while waiting for Laeng to pick him up, he’d seen the chaos online. He had tried
calling Jack, but it went straight to voicemail. Frustrated, he left a message asking for an
explanation. They’d agreed to be friends. What was the point of making this kind of post? It
felt so reckless, so... childish.
Laeng’s voice broke through his spiraling thoughts as the car rolled into the agency parking
lot. “So... I’m listening.”
Nunew glanced at his manager, guilt bubbling up. Laeng was watching him expectantly.
“What’s going on with you and Zee? And why does Jack seem to be throwing barbs at him?”
Nunew hesitated, trying to piece together an answer. “I don’t know, phi. I’m just as surprised
as you are. I called Jack, but he didn’t answer.”
So Nunew told him everything not like he didn’t know much. He admitted their secret dates,
anf finally that they’re dating now.
~******~
Zee parked the car at the arrivals terminal and spotted Mabel waving at him. As she ran
toward him, he opened his arms, catching her in a tight hug.
“Really? This from the girl who ditched her brother to live in China?” Zee teased, ruffling her
hair.
“Yeah, sure,” Zee muttered, lifting her luggage into the trunk. Mabel had been adopted when
she was only ten, and very soon she'd grown close to Zee. Having had nothing but
insufferable older sisters, having a little sister was a joy. Except that Mabel had decided to
study in China overnight, and Zee knew that, studies aside, a certain Chen was just as
responsible.
“And how’s Zhao? Still treating you like a queen?” he asked with a smirk.
Mabel flushed, brushing off the question. “I could ask the same about P’Nunew. What’s
going on with you two? Because the internet is wild right now.”
Zee tightened his grip on the wheel, he didn't want to know what was being said about them,
he was sure that for the most part it wasn't positive. At least if he was to believe what Max
had told him earlier, Jack had decided to take direct aim at him. But Zee wasn't going to fall
for it. He knew what Jack wanted and he wasn't going to take the bait.
"Don't you want to talk to him? I know you miss him and he misses you too." He asked
instead. Mabel raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything
Zee decided to send a message to Nunew and ask him to wait for them at home if he hadn't
already left but the singer replied that he was called to the agency and would call him back
later. Zee sincerely hoped that this time Nunew would put their relationship before anything
else.
~*******~
Nunew arrived shortly before dinner, the meeting with the agency had been tiring and he
hadn't been able to touch his Phone all day, so he tried to contact Jack again and again to no
avail and decided to do the stupidest thing (although for once the agency agreed) and
unsubscribe from him on all his socials. Then he contacted Zee to say he'd be along to talk,
see Mabel and pick up his car. He hoped he could stay the night though.
Seeing Mabel again made him nervous, she'd been so angry when she'd heard about him and
Zee's breakup. Mabel had called him names, accused him of being responsible for what was
happening to her brother, that because of him her brother had lost his smile and she no longer
recognized the most important person in her life and that it was all Nunew's fault. Which was
true.
He rang the bell and waited, and it was Mabel who opened the door. For a moment, he froze,
expecting her to lash out or ignore him entirely. But to his shock, she broke into a wide smile
and threw her arms around him.
Caught off guard, Nunew looked over her shoulder at Zee, who was watching. Zee just
shrugged and disappeared into the living room.
“Hi, Mabel. Are you okay? How was your trip?” he asked cautiously.
“I’m sorry,” they said at the same time as she step back.
“No, no, you don’t have to apologize,” Nunew said quickly. “I’m the one who broke Hia’s
heart.”
“But I shouldn’t have said those awful things to you,” Mabel admitted, her voice small. “It
wasn’t fair. I was just... I was angry for him. I... I have something else to apologize for but I'll
tell you another time. Right now I'm happy to see you. I've missed you."”
“You’re not going to break up with me again, are you?” Zee was the first to speak, his voice
tinged with worry. And Nunew once again realized how much he'd made Zee suffer, how
their break-up had left a kind of trauma in him. He didn't even realize he was crying until Zee
wiped away his tears. Nunew leaned over and kissed him, kissing him fervently, putting all
his feelings into it, making sure to show Zee how much he loved him and how much he was
sorry.
Zee leaned forward, brushing the tears from his cheeks. “Don’t cry, baby.”
“I’m not breaking up with you, Hia,” he whispered against Zee’s lips “Never.”
“The agency gave me an ultimatum,” Nunew confessed, his voice trembling. “They said I
have to make a choice; announce our relationship publicly or... hide it.”
@Jeyfeeey_: Someone saw Zee at the airport with a girl, they were hugging. I thought
Zee was with Nunew.
@Jacckyyuu!!: She looks young to me, guess Zee likes young people!!!!
@ZPP_wifey: Wtf stupid people Mabel is Zee's sister, you can see she posted a picture

Chapter 13
Chapter Notes
Hello I manage to finish this early than what I intended so there, have fun...
“What are you going to do?” Zee asked, his eyes curious.
Nunew moved closer, settling himself onto Zee’s lap with practiced ease. His hands slid
behind Zee's neck, fingers tangling in his hair with an absentminded tenderness.
"I need to appease the fans," Nunew explained softly. "They're saying bad things about you."
“Nu, you know I’ve never cared about what people say about me.”
“I know,” Nunew replied with a small nod. “But that doesn’t mean I’m okay with them
misunderstanding you—especially now that we’re dating.”
Of course, he knew that. Zee had never let public opinion faze him, but that didn’t stop
Nunew from wanting to shield him. The accusations, the misunderstandings—they all stung,
especially now that Jack had involved himself. Nunew couldn't understand why Jack
harbored such venomous hatred for Zee, it was never Zee’s fault to begin.
"Don't worry about Jack, he's just jealous," Zee told him, as if reading his mind. "He just
found a way to attack me directly, I wouldn’t be surprised if his father’s behind it.”
Nunew leaned forward, pressing a gentle kiss to Zee’s lips, the act both apologetic and tender.
“I’m sorry, Hia. All of this... it’s my fault.”
Zee shook his head, his hands settling on Nunew’s waist as he looked up at him. “Don’t. I
knew what I was getting into when I asked you to be my boyfriend and that, even the first
time.”
Nunew pouted as he lightly smacked Zee’s chest. “That’s still unfair. I was supposed to be the
one to ask you.”
Zee laughed—a deep, genuine sound that sent shivers down Nunew’s spine. He felt his heart
stutter, the butterflies in his stomach fluttering wildly at the sight of Zee’s joy. It was
moments like this that reminded him how lucky he was. To have Zee back in his life. To love
and be loved by the only person who could ever make his heart race this way.
“I love you, Hia,” Nunew murmured, his lips hovering over Zee’s “I love you so fucking
much.”
Before Zee could respond, Nunew closed the distance, capturing his lips in a fiery kiss. It was
consuming, a kiss that demanded and gave all at once. Zee barely had time to catch his breath
before their lips clashed again, tongues tangling in a battle for dominance.
Nunew pushed forward, guiding Zee until he was lying flat against the bed. Nunew hovered
over him, his hands framing Zee’s face as they shared another heated kiss. Zee’s hands found
their way to Nunew’s waist, steadying him as he tilted his head to take control, his tongue
exploring every corner of Nunew’s mouth with intoxicating precision.
Nunew began to press himself against Zee, the desire for friction getting the better of him, he
wanted hia closer to him and sincerely it was addictive. He detached his lips from his own
and began to suck a spot on his lover's neck, he began to leave open-mouthed kisses, sucking
his neck mercilessly and the moans that came from Zee's mouth did nothing to help his state.
“Nhu” Zee moaned, bending his neck to give Nunew more access. And nunew simply
hummed to make it clear he was listening.
“I, are you sure? I won't be able to hold myself back if you keep this up.”
Nunew stopped and leaned on his elbows to level with Zee “I hope so” he replied with a
smug smile on his lips. Zee's hands on his hips came down to encircle his buttocks, pressing
them a little harder which emitted a gasp from Nunew
“Hia!”
Zee turned them over and now Nunew was lying on the bed and Zee on top of him, he took
his hands and guided them to his neck, prompting Nunew to encircle him. He slipped his
hand under his shirt and gripped his hip fiercely, and with his other hand began to play with
his right nipple. Nunew moaned a little too loudly, surprised by the contact. He pulled Zee
towards him and began to kiss him, he needed to hold on somewhere the sensation of Zee's
fingers on his nipple was too strong for him, it all left him breathless.
“Please Hia” Nunew murmured as he tugged at the hem of Zee's tshirt to remove it and he let
him, soon they were free of their shirts and Nunew could freely let his hands travel through
Zee's muscles, dwelling a little more on his abs unable to look away, was this man really his?
was he allowed to see and touch as much as he wanted?
Zee then took one of Nunew's nipples, already puckered and ready for attention, he roamed
on the areola with his tongue before catching the nub between his teeth to twist it. He sucked
on it long and wet, and Nu really couldn't keep it anymore.
Zee then slid his hand down caressing along his abs, sending electric jolts up and down his
body. Nunew let out a heavy groan as he felt Zee's hand encircle his length, realizing how
painfully hard he was. Zee began to stroke his shaft up and down while continuing to suck on
his nipple, the tension was too much for Nunew, and he couldn't take it anymore and at the
same time wanted more.
“Hia, please kiss me” he begged, and Zee released the attention he was giving to his nipples
and captured his lips.
Between kisses, Zee had unwrapped Nunew's cock and taken off his own pants, he was
starting to feel tight and all he wanted was to be close to Nunew, body to body. And he was
sure he was going to die any second when he felt Nunew's member against his own, and he
certainly wasn't the only one, for he felt Nunew gasp when their limbs touched.
"Nhu, you're so beautiful, you know?" he murmured against his lips, he was drunk and not on
alcohol "You're really really beautiful baby, I want you all the time".
"Then have me, Hia, please, I want you," and Zee couldn't ask for more.
Nunew pushed his tongue into Zee's mouth and sucked every moan that came out of him.
Then he felt Zee's hands move around his buttocks, squeezing them harder. Then he felt a
finger squeeze his entrance again as a loud gasp escaped his mouth.
Zee slid a finger inside him and began to massage his insides with steady, intoxicating
movements, but that was not enough for Nu, he wanted more and just as he was about to say
what he was thinking, Zee withdrew his finger and Nu's eyebrows knitted together.
"Hia?"
"Wait, I don't want to hurt you," he stood up and took out what Nunew guessed was lube and
a few moments later the fingers were back where they belonged and Zee pushed two fingers
in at once, making Nunew groan heavily.
Zee laughed and pecked at his slips, "You can scream as much as you want, honey," and
Nunew squirmed, he was a moaning mess, not quite knowing where to stand, and all with
just fingers. He quickly realized that no fingers were enough, he wanted more.
And who was Zee not to oblige. He put a pillow under his hip and asked Nunew to bend over
and spread his legs. If he was to believe what Nunew had told him, he hadn't had any other
partners besides himself and he wanted to make sure he didn't hurt too much and was safe, so
he put a condom on his cock and gave it a few strokes before positioning himself in front of
his entrance.
He rolled his hips and thrust the head in at once. Nunew's head fell back on the pillow, a soft
gasp on his lips. So Zee moved deeper, bit by bit, pulling back now and then, but never
entering him completely. He concentrated on being gentle, watching Nunew so he wouldn't
miss any signs that his lover was in any kind of pain. He wanted to be gentle, it was true, but
at the same time he wanted to thrust harder, he really couldn't help it, Nu was so tight, so
beautiful under him. At one point Nunew wrapped his legs around his waist. He began to
thrust a little harder, his thrusts picking up speed as they kissed messily.
"Hia," Nunew moaned between his lips. "Faster." And Zee did it, not bothering to be gentle
anymore, it was completely different from their first time, where Zee had taken all his time to
worship him, now he just wanted to push Nu harder on the mattress and ruin him all at once.
He didn't know where to put his head and kept whispering words of love to Nunew, telling
him how incredible he was and how good it was for him and what an incredible job he was
doing. It was all getting hard to control, and although he wanted to slow down to give his
lover a breather, his mind refused. He rocked faster and faster, biting and sucking on Nu's
shoulder, carefully not to let a mark. He took Nu's member in his hand and began to caress it
to the rhythm of his thrusts.
"Nu, I'm close," he said between bites on his shoulder. Nunew dug his nails into his back, and
Zee was sure there were marks there. But that was the least of his worries.
"Hia I'm going..... "Nunew was a real mess, words were becoming incoherent to him, he was
too far away to really understand what Zee was saying to him, but he perceived the few
words that sent him completely over the edge.
And not even a second later he was done. He started to come all over his belly with the help
of Zee's stroking. And Zee followed shortly after.
He let himself fall onto the mattress next to Nunew as he pulled his lover into his arms.
"I love you, Nu," and that was so fucking overwhelming that he started to cry.
"I hate you, you should wait a bit before saying that," he said between sobs and Zee just
laughed at him. He left a kiss on his forehead before he started to get up.
"Where are you going?" he asked worriedly and Zee kissed him before answering. “I'm going
to fill a bath, we can relax and chat some more.”
~******~
Nunew placed his phone down on the desk, taking a deep breath before starting the live
stream. He hoped with all his heart that his fans wouldn’t notice the subtle details that might
give away where he really was. He adjusted the camera angle, making sure only the plain
white wall behind him was visible. It could have been anywhere, the kind you’d find in any
house. No one had to know he wasn’t at home, that he was actually in a guest room Zee had
helped him settle into. And as for the oversized Supersunn t-shirt he was wearing? That was
purely for brand promotion—absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it still smelled like
Zee.
Taking a deep breath, Nunew hit the “Start Live” button. Once enough people had joined, he
smiled warmly and began chatting with his fans about ordinary things. They asked him to
sing, and he obliged, Zee had lent him his laptop, and Nunew used it to play backing tracks
for a few impromptu covers, trying to stay focused on the music and not the words flying past
in the comment section.
"Hmmm there's a surprise…tomorrow? No no, I don't think so. Maybe in a couple of days....
It's a surprise..." But then, he stopped mid-sentence as he read the comments.
Nunew’s smile faltered, his chest tightened. He tried to ignore it, but the words wouldn’t stop.
Enough was enough.
“Guys,” he began, “I think it’s time we set the record straight.” He leaned closer to the
screen, his eyes earnest. "I’ve seen what’s been going on online, and it’s disheartening to see
people lashing out based on assumptions and a single tweet." He swallowed hard, bracing
himself. He didn’t want to stoke the flames, but he couldn’t stay silent any longer.
"I’m talking about Jack’s tweet, for those wondering," he said plainly. "I’ve never hidden the
fact that I hurt someone in the past. I own that. I made mistakes, and I’ve apologized for them
more times than I can count. But that doesn’t give anyone the right to twist the story or use it
just to bring hate against someone else”
Nunew’s hands found a stray pen on the table, and he fiddled with it as he spoke, “Yes, I
dated Zee. Even before my debut. But things didn’t work out, and that was on me. I hurt him,
and I’ll never stop regretting that. But the hate? The accusations? They need to stop. I’ve
never supported that kind of behavior, no matter who it’s directed at.”
"As for our relationship now," he continued cautiously, "that’s between us. I don’t owe
anyone an explanation, but I will say this, Hia is still someone very dear to me, and whatever
we are, it’s ours to figure out."
He glanced at the comments again, his heart sinking at the mix of reactions. Some expressed
support, while others accused him of hypocrisy. He knew no explanation would satisfy
everyone as he realized that no matter what he said, there would always be those who refused
to understand.
"Can you finish your live and come back to my arms? I miss you, and I’m cold."
Heat rushed to Nunew’s cheeks, and he tried to mask it with a light cough. “Well,” he said
with a nervous laugh, “I think I’ve said enough for now. I’ll probably get scolded later, but
yeah okay I have to go. Take care everyone, Love you all. Bye-bye.”
As soon as the live ended, Nunew send a message to his manager, turned off his phone and
practically ran to Zee’s room. Zee was sitting on the bed, eyes glued on his phone and
wrapped in a blanket, his eyes lighting up the moment Nunew entered. Did Hia watched his
live? He didn’t see his name and no one had said anything.
Without a word, Nunew slipped under the covers, curling into Zee’s warmth. "So" he
murmured against Zee’s neck, "did you miss me?"
“More than you can imagine,” Zee murmured, turning to face him. Their eyes met for a
moment before Zee leaned down, capturing Nunew’s lips in a slow kiss.
Whatever the world had to say could wait until tomorrow. For now, this was all that mattered.
@ZNN_willbereal: Well That was a live, I really don’t have anything to say
@ZeeNunew_b4official: I just hope they’re okay whatever they are now, be it friends
or lovers
@ZPP_wifey: So Nunew broke my baby’s heart, that why he was like that cause let’s
be real, now he’s kinda happy and not grumpy anymore
@Nuprotector1: I’m happy Nu come out and tell us the truth, and I am happy he
directly talk about jack’s tweet, he was being so childish
@Jackk_): Now that’s bullshit, Nu was the one dating Jack while been in love with
someone else. Turn on Jack’s live
@Chawarin: It’s just bullshit, even if it was true, we don’t have to judge Nunew
@NUNUNaNu: I will always believe in Nu, I’m here for his music not his private life.
@DylanRet: Why is he in Zee’s business ? I can’t believe he want to compete with him,
he’s so helpless
@ZNN_forever: I know he just need some fame, Nova style is struggling wbk!!!!
