1 Preface
This is one of the user manuals intended for the users of the e-Gov Portal of APJ Abdul Kalam
Technological University.
1.1 Overview
As per the B.Tech 2024 regulations, students are required to complete a MOOC course offered
by the non-KTU institution, NASSCOM. Students must register for the course by paying the
applicable fees.
1.2 Audience
This document is intended for student users who are responsible for registering MOOC course
1.3 Prerequisites
The following are the requirements for all the machines using the application
Supported browsers - Chrome 16+, Firefox11+ , Microsoft Edge, Safari 6+
Popup windows should be allowed, so disable popup blockers (if any) in the browser
1.4 Glossary
The following are some of the acronyms used in the user manual:
Acronym Full Form
This section details how users can register and pay fees for the MOOC course.
To register for a MOOC course, navigate to Student → Non-KTU/Previously Done Course
Registration Request.

Click on the Add button then user will redirect to the page shown below.
Here system displays the basic details of the student followed by registration section.
To verify the email address, user can click on the link “ email address”, the user will
redirect to the Update Contact Info page. From there, the they can verify their email
address.
Upon successful verification, user can return to the registration page, Student → Non-
KTU/Previously Done Course Registration Request and can select the desired
course by entering the course name.
System displays the course details and the fee applied for registering the course(ref
screen below ).
Also a button to submit the registration “ Submit and Proceed to Pay “
Upon clicking the 'Submit and Proceed to Pay' button, the user will be redirected to the
payment page. From there, they can select their preferred payment gateway and
proceed with the payment” (refer below image).
Click 'Make Payment' to proceed with the payment (refer to the image above)
After successful payment user is redirected to the shown below.
Once the payment is completed, the student's MOOC course registration status will be
updated to 'Registration Submitted by Student'.
On clicking the view button in the action column student will redirected to the below screen.
