[I] OUTLINE
The Roland SYNC Box SBX-10 has three main
IMPORTANT NOTE
functions as follows.
• Please use the appropriate line voltage which

• This unit may get hot while operating, but
there is nothing to worry about.

machines and sequencers in this system.

There are two different methods for tempo control.

b. Tempo Setting c. Remote Control
1) Tempo Setting with the Tempo Knob By using the DP-2, the system can be started or
stopped with the pedal. Connect the pedal switch

ping. The tapping slower than 20 will be ignored
and the one quicker than 250 will be read as 250.

2. Internal Mode
The Internal mode allows the tempo program-
ming of the entire music. Therefore, the music
will be automatically played in the programmed
tempo throughout. There are two different
methods for tempo programming; one is by
using the Tap Button and the other is by modify-
ing the basic tempo. The followi11g are the details
of each method.

a. Tempo Programming (by tapping in real time)

To program a tempo for each beat, tap the Tap


Button O in the tempo you like or use the exter-
nal click.

ing the basic tempo)

This method may be adopted for tempo program-


ming of the music in a consistent tempo . You
may want to quicken (accelerando) or slower
(ritardando) the basic tempo in the middle of the
music.

Program the tempo of the music into the SBX-10


by tapping the Tap Button beat by beat in real
time. Meanwhile, record the metronome output
of the SBX-10 on an empty track of the multi-
track recorder.
