In the past, holidays were simpler and more about relaxing. People used to visit
nearby places, enjoy nature, and spend time with family. Besides, activities like
camping, hiking, or just walking in the countryside were popular. There were fewer
distractions, as there were no smartphones or social media, so conversations and
games were the main sources of entertainment. Nowadays, holidaying has changed a
lot. People often travel to distant, exotic locations, and there are more activities like
theme parks, adventure sports, or guided tours. Technology plays a big role too, with
tourists sharing every moment online. While holidays today offer more excitement,
they can sometimes feel less personal and less about spending quality time with
loved ones.
