Hi Aakash Jaiswal,

We appreciate your participation in HP poWer Lab! As we approach the Online Assessment


scheduled for tomorrow, 12th November, it's imperative to thoroughly review the essential
instructions and guidelines provided below. These insights are pivotal for ensuring a smooth and
successful assessment experience.

Note: We strictly prohibit any form of cheating, plagiarism, or unfair practices such as registering
and attempting the assessment using multiple IDs. Any violation will result in immediate
disqualification of the participant.

Timelines & Instructions:

Online Assessment Window: 12:00 PM to 08:00 PM, Tuesday, 12th November


Online Assessment Duration: 30 Minutes
Total Questions to be answered: 45 multiple choice questions based on topics covering
DI, Analytics, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Skills, Oil and Gas Industry & HPCL-specific
questions.
Syllabus for HPCL Questions: The HPCL-specific questions will be based on the last 6
months of developments. Refer to HPCL’s official website, social media handles, financial
reports, corporate profile, and content available on the Unstop platform for preparation.
You can attempt the assessment anytime between the provided window.
Please ensure that you attempt the assessment in one sitting. Once you start, the timer will
not stop.
You will have to finish the assessment before the assigned deadline. To get the complete
assessment duration, you need to start latest by 12th November, 07:29 PM. Otherwise,
you will get less time to complete the assessment.

You will see a Verify/Play button in the Online Assessment round.


Participants will be ranked on accuracy (score) and speed (time taken to answer the
questions). This means that if two participants have the same score, then the one who
answered their last question earlier will be ranked higher.
The final score will be calculated as an average of all team members' performances,
meaning every member's participation is crucial.

Proctoring Related:

You can attempt the assessment only on a desktop/laptop with webcam access.
The assessment will be hosted in full-screen mode.
Anything that disturbs the full-screen mode of the assessment is treated as a violation. It
may be due to any of the following reasons but not limited to:
Tab Switching

Screen Sharing with anyone


Clicking on the escape button
Computer going on Sleep (Adjust your power or sleep mode settings)
Windows or Browser or any Application specific notifications (Put them on DND Mode
or switch them off while the assessment is on)
Anything else that may result in disturbing the full-screen mode

The assessment does not get terminated on the first such instance. Only repeated
violations will result in disqualification and termination of the assessment immediately.
Your face will be verified before the start of the assessment from the photo that was
captured during registration.
Your face may be verified again during the assessment.
Your face will be constantly detected and violations will be tracked and reported while the
assessment is on. Eg: Two faces in front of the camera, No one in front of the camera, etc.

Key Instructions:

You can access the assessment from the opportunity page.


You will see a Verify/Play button in the MCQ Assessment round to initiate the assessment.
While you are taking the assessment, your answers and the time of their submission are
also tracked by the system question-wise.
You will not be able to modify your answers before finally submitting your answers.
You will not be able to browse through the questions.
There is no negative marking for this assessment.
Any participant resorting to unfair practices will be directly disqualified from HP Power Lab.
All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgment will be with Unstop and
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).
