UV-C light

Effectively fights
disinfecting robot dangerous pathogens,
including #coronaviruses.

Applications:
• Hospitals, Patient rooms
• Intensive Care Units Mobile and reliable disinfecting robot.
• Surgical wards
• Warehouses ALVO® Ultra V-bot is a device for bio-decontamination using UV-C
• Airports light, with proven technology to reduce biological contamination.
• Sportsclubs, fitness, concert halls The technology used in the ALVO® Ultra V-bot monitors and
• Offices, conference rooms adjusts the disinfection process to ensure the most optimal results
• Hotels in reducing surface contamination.
Technology

ALVO® Ultra V-bot is a light disinfecting robot. UV-C radiators

emit light with a wavelength of 254 nm. UV-C light has proved
to kill the vegetative form of bacteria by destroying its nucleic
acid (DNA).

ALVO® Ultra V-bot generates an automatic electronic report

after each decontamination process. This makes it possible to
monitor and optimise the decontamination process.

UV-C light disinfection

• UV-C lamps are widely used in industry.

• UV-C disinfection is complementary to cleaning with detergents.
• UV-C deconamination is an environmental-friendly solution.

Ultraviolet light penetrates the cell wall of microorganisms and

damages their DNA. UV-C light eliminates colonies of bacteria,
viruses, fungi and yeasts, delaying their recovery and lowering
the risk of infection.

How it works?

ALVO Ultra® V-bot is equipped with sensors and a scanner which creates a virtual map of the scanned area.
After the room has been mapped, the operator indicates in the user application, the zones (points) the robot should
reach in order to perform decontamination.

The disinfection process is activated by the operator remotely, from a tablet, after he has safely left the room (Wi-Fi
communication). Thanks to the safety system and autonomous navigation, the ALVO® Ultra V-bot detects objects
to avoid collision with any equipment it would meet on the way and safely moves around the scanned environment.

Compared to manual robots, ALVO® Ultra V-bot performs a repeteable, precise procedure that has been programmed.
The quality of the process is maintained at the same level and monitored each time. This way Infection Prevention
specialists can raise the bar on the standard of disinfection.
Operation & handling

ALVO® Ultra V-bot operates with two types of software:

a) service software
b) user application software

• Quick room mapping.

• User-friendly software.
• Report from decontaminated rooms archived.
• Communication robot - software via Wi-Fi.

Safety
• No exposure to UV-C radiation - the robot is activated
remotely (tablet).
• Safety sensors - automatic detection of obstacles in the
robot’s field of operation.
• Safety button on the mobile base platform.

• Manual maneuvering for transfer between areas

is possible, when the device is not running.
• Two, big rubber wheels, Ø 250 mm, enable smooth
movement on various types of surfaces and overcome
obstacles with ease.
• The Ø 125 mm rear swivel wheel

Autonomy

After being programmed, the ALVO® Ultra V-bot, may

work autonomously, which saves time of the designated
cleaning staff. Since the robot is controlled remotely,
cleaning technicians are never exposed to strong chemical • Wheels of the ALVO® Ultra V-bot are constantly
disinfectants and ultraviolet light. disinfected, as the UV-C light reaches their level, while
the robot moves around the space.

Time and risk management in multiple areas
• The intensity of UV-C light enables effective decontamination in a short time.
• The decontamination time for a single room with a bathroom is approx. 30 min.
• The toilet decontamination time is approx. 8 min.
• The hospital airlock decontamination time is approx. 15 min.
• Effective in vital high capacity areas such as emergency departments, intensive care units, gyms, schools, hotels.
• No need to seal ventilation heads or smoke detectors.

Proven effectiveness
• Technology that allows real-time monitoring of UV-C radiation exposure.
• Measurable exposure for effortless removal of shadows and long-distance exposures.
• Real-time mapping of the decontaminated area.
