The SAP Best Practices for SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting package is designed for the most
common set of requirements for the broadest set of global customers. It does not provide support
for exceptional, regional compliance requirements.
Fields in the preconfigured data models may be renamed, repurposed, or removed and a number of custom
fields are available in certain data models. However, the adaptation of these fields including translations is the
customer/partner’s responsibility.

SAP Best Practices for SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting allows you to set up a complete best practices
recruiting process across the Recruiting Management, Recruiting Posting, and Recruiting Marketing
modules.
Based on your scoping decision you can choose between three alternative variants of scope:
• Recruiting in SAP SuccessFactors offers the recruiting process without integration to other modules.
• Recruiting with Integration to Position Management and Employee Central offers the recruiting process, but also
content for integration with SAP Best Practices for Employee Central Position Management, which allows you to
launch job requisitions from a position in the position org chart. In addition, it offers content for the integration with
any running Employee Central, which allows you to optimize the transition of candidates to new hires.
• Recruiting with Integration to Position Management and Onboarding offers the recruiting process, the integration with
SAP Best Practices for Employee Central Position Management, and content for integration with SAP Best Practices
for Onboarding, which allows you to initiate the onboarding of candidates.
If not yet implemented, People Profile Maintenance in SAP SuccessFactors allows you to set up People Profile. Job Profile
Maintenance in SAP SuccessFactors allows you to set up Job Profile Builder.
