Mission 2
Overview
This is a continuation of Phase 1 of the air campaign against Redland. The intent is to
degrade the Redland integrated air defense system (IADS) and attrite Redland airpower in
order to facilitate freedom of action for subsequent phases. Redland’s ability to retaliate
with theater ballistic missiles will also be targeted.
You will provide SEAD support to a strike package tasked with destroying Redland IADS
communications facilities, SCUD missile batteries and other missile support facilities. You
will coordinate with the other SEAD flight, Colt 2, to support the entire area of operations.
Use this briefing package along with the Standard Operating Procedures document to
plan and execute your mission.
