Invitation to Participate in Inter DYPIS Math Competition

Dear Parents,

Greetings.

After the resounding success of last year’s Math-A-Maze competition, we are excited to announce
the second edition of the Inter DYPIS Math Competition!

This event continues to offer students a valuable platform to enhance their problem-solving and
logical reasoning skills. By presenting challenging mathematical problems, the competition aims to
foster critical thinking, creativity, and prepare students for real-world challenges in fields like
engineering, finance, and technology. Moreover, it promotes healthy competition, motivating
students to push their boundaries and strive for excellence. Recognizing and celebrating the
achievements of students who excel in mathematics boosts their confidence and inspires their peers.

As valued members of the D Y Patil School community, we are thrilled to extend an invitation to your
child to take part in the Inter DYPIS Math Competition, Math-A-Maze 2024!

Rules to be followed:

1. No Calculator Allowed: Students are not permitted to use calculators during the exam. This
ensures reliance on their mathematical skills rather than technology.

2. Exam Conducted within School Hours: The exam will take place during regular school hours
to maintain academic integrity.

3. No Math Teacher Supervision: To uphold the exam’s fairness, a non-math teacher will
supervise the exam process.

These rules aim to create a fair and conducive environment for students to demonstrate their
mathematical abilities.
