and turn the heat to low, and cover the pan.</li>

Program 16: Installation of Antivirus Software

Step 1: Insert the CD or DVD into the computer’s disc drive.Then the installation process will start
automatically with the help guide.
Step 2: If it is downloaded then find the file on your computer. If it is a zip file, unzip the file to
extract and access.
Step 3: Go to setup.exe or install.exe , then double-click the file.
Step 4: The install process provides recommended options so the antivirus program will function
properly.
Step 5: If prompted to install other software along with the antivirus program, uncheck all boxes or
decline the install of extra programs.
Step 6: When the install process is complete, close out install window.
Step 7: The antivirus program is now installed and ready to use. If it is required to restart your
computer so that any modified settings in the OS can take effect
Step 8: After installing , it is recommended to update with latest version.
Step 9: In many cases, the antivirus program automatically checks for and installs the latest updates.

You can share the files and folders that you store in Google Drive with anyone.

When you share from Google Drive, you can control whether people can edit, comment on, or only view the
file. When you share content from Google Drive, the Google Drive program policies apply.

Step 1: Find the file you want to share


Share a single file
1. On a computer, go to Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, or Slides.
2. Click the file you want to share.
3. Click Share or Share .
Share multiple files
1. On a computer, go to drive.google.com.
2. On your keyboard, hold Shift and select two or more files.
3. At the top right, click Share
4. Files can be added to a folder and an entire folder can be shared.
Send & share Google Forms
` Google Forms have different sharing options than other kinds of files.
 Forms can be shared to people to fill out.
 Work can be shared with other people on forms..
Step 2: Choose who to share with & how they can use your file
Share with specific people
1. Select the file you want to share.
2. Click Share or Share .
3. Under "Share with people and groups," enter the email address you want to share with.

4. To change what people can do to your doc, on the right, click the Down arrow Viewer, Commenter,
or Editor.
5. Choose to notify people.
 If you want to notify people that you shared a doc with them, check the box next to Notify people.
If you notify people, each email address you enter will be included in the email.
 If you don't want to notify people, uncheck the box.
6. Click Share or Send.

Share a link to the file


You can send other people a link to your file so anyone with the link can use it. When you share a link to a file, your
name will be visible as the owner of the file.
1. Select the file you want to share.

3. Under “Get Link”, click the Down arrow .
4. Choose who to share the file with.
5. To decide what people can do with your file when you share it, select Viewer, Commenter, or Editor.

Share & collaborate on a file with more than 100 people
Up to 100 people with view, edit, or comment permissions can work on a Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides file at the
same time. When more than 100 people are accessing a file, only the owner and some users with editing permissions
can edit the file.To share and collaborate on a file with more than 100 people:
Publish the file
 If you need many people to view a file at once, publish it and create a link to share to viewers. You can
give edit access to people who need to edit or comment on the file.
 To remove a file from the web, you must stop publishing it.
 To stop sharing a file with collaborators, sharing permissions should be changed
Create a Google Site
 Create a Google Site to share information with many people. You can embed documents, spreadsheets, and
presentations on the site, which can be viewed by a large amount of users

Collect feedback with Google Forms


 If you need to gather a lot of information, create a Google Form. Responses will be recorded in a Google
Sheet. Give edit access only to people who need to work with the responses. To let more than 100 people
view the responses, publish the spreadsheet to the web and create a link to share with viewers.

Limit how a file is shared


When you share a file with someone, you can choose what they can do with it.
 Viewer: People can view, but can’t change or share the file with others.
 Commenter: People can make comments and suggestions, but can’t change or share the file with others.
 Editor: People can make changes, accept or reject suggestions, and share the file with others.
When you share a link to a file, you control how widely the file is shared. These options depend on if your Google
Account is through work, school, or Gmail.
 Public: Anyone can search on Google and get access to your file, without signing in to their Google
Account.

 Anyone with the link: Anyone who has the link can use your file, without signing in to their Google
Account.
 Restricted: Only people you share the file with will be able to use it.

Use Of Google Docs


Google Docs is an online word processor that lets you create and format documents and work with other people.
Step 1: Create a document
To create a new document:
1. On your computer, open the Docs home screen at docs.google.com.
2. In the top left, under "Start a new document," click Blank .
You can also create new documents from the URL docs.google.com/create.
Step 2: Edit and format
To edit a document:
1. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
2. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change.
3. Start editing.
4. To undo or redo an action, at the top, click Undo or Redo .
Note: To edit a document on a touchscreen device, like a Pixel Book, double-tap the document to start
typing.
You can add and edit text, paragraphs, spacing, and more in a document.

Step 3: Share & work with others
You can share files and folders with people and choose whether they can view, edit, or comment on them.

Using a Google CoLab


Create a Colab Notebook
Step 1: Open Google Colab.
Step 2: Click on ‘New Notebook’ and select Python 2 notebook or Python 3 notebook.
OR
Open Google Drive.
Create a new folder for the project.
Click on ‘New’ > ‘More’ > ‘Colaboratory’.
Setting GPU Accelerator
The default hardware of Google Colab is CPU or it can be GPU.
Step 1: Click on ‘Edit’ > ‘Notebook Settings’ > ‘Hardware Accelerator’ > ‘GPU’.
OR
Click on ‘Runtime’ > ‘Hardware Accelerator’ > ‘GPU’.
Running a Cell
Step 1: Make sure the runtime is connected. The notebook shows a green check and ‘Connected’ on the top right
corner.
There are various runtime options in ‘Runtime’.

To run the current cell, press SHIFT + ENTER.

Installing Libraries
Although most of the commonly used Python libraries are pre-installed, new libraries can be installed using the below

Step 1: Enable phishing and malware protection: Make sure that Chrome’s phishing and malware protection
feature is enabled under the “Privacy” section.
Step 2: Turn off instant search: The Instant search feature should be turned off for optimal security. having this
feature enabled means that anything you type in the address bar is instantly sent to Google.
Step 3: Don’t sync: Disconnect your email account from your browser under the “Personal Stuff” tab. Syncing your
email account with your Chrome browser means that personal information such as passwords, autofill data,
preferences, and more is stored on Google’s servers. If you must use sync, select the “Encrypt all synced data”
option and create a unique passphrase for encryption.
Step 4: Configure content settings: Click “Content settings” under the “Privacy” section and do the following:
 Cookies: Select “Keep local data only until I quit my browser” and “Block third-party cookies and site
data.” These options ensure that your cookies will be deleted upon quitting Chrome and that advertisers
will not be able to track you using third-party cookies.
 JavaScript: Select “Do not allow any site to run JavaScript.” It is widely recommended that JavaScript be
disabled whenever possible to protect users from its security vulnerabilities.
o Pop-ups: Select “Do not allow any site to show pop-ups.
o Location: Select “Do not allow any site to track my physical location.”

 Configure passwords and forms settings: Disable Autofill and deselect “Offer to save passwords I
enter on the web” under the “Passwords and forms” section. Doing so will prevent Chrome from saving
your logins, passwords, and other sensitive information that you enter into forms.

Step 1: Enforce Password history policy: It will set how often an old password can be reused.
Step 2: Minimum Password Age Policy: It determines how long users must keep a password before.
