Project Marvel - How To Use FTS (Makers) (1)
Version 1.1
Introduction
This document has been prepared to offer you enhanced guidance for completing your tasks on Fine
Tune Studios (FTS). We strongly recommend reading it thoroughly before you begin your
assignments.
1
Step 1: Open/download the textbook by clicking on the link
Step 2: Once downloaded, open your textbook using a PDF editor. Upon opening, your textbook should
appear as follows.
Important Note: The page number you will enter in the Supplementary Details section should be the one
displayed in the PDF reader, not the textbook's original page number. The Image Name should be the
name displayed below the image.
2
Step 3: It is important to mention that you should use the pre-generated table by FTS in the Output Panel
in order for your task to not become invalid.
Step 4: Locate the desired image in the textbook and take a screenshot. Once captured, paste the image
into the designated table in FTS under "Screenshot of the selected [Image 1] from the textbook."
Ensure the screenshot is not excessively large. If necessary, resize or adjust the image to fit appropriately
without negatively impacting the image quality.
3
Step 5: After adding your screenshot, enter your prompt in the “Prompt” section.
Note: Keep in mind that passages containing formulas and equations should be in an equation format.
This can be done in FTS by selecting the iMathEQ feature.
4
Step 6: Next to entering your prompt, enter the response.
5
Step 8: Once your explanation has been entered you will need to complete all Supplementary Details to
the right of your screen.
Important Note: As stated on Step 2, the Page Number you will enter in the Supplementary Details is
the one from outside the document and the Image Name would be the name below the image.
6
Step 9: Before submitting your task, please make sure you are using the plagiarism checker located right
below the supplementary details. Our goal is for the prompts you are creating to have less than 30% of
plagiarism detected. In case your prompts have more than 30% of plagiarism detected, please make the
necessary edits in order to lower it. Once done, you may submit your task by clicking on “Submit”.
To exit FTS: simply submit your final task by selecting “Submit and exit”. Following this process will allow
you to exit FTS without moving on to the next task and possibly causing your next task to be stuck in
progress.
